I tried to blink back and then my cat hit me, i decided to do revenge and ate a bit of her cat food right in front of her face, now instead of meowing at me she straightforward tries to break my knees everytime i return home 😭
About staring being a sign of aggression: probably not in every case, because one of my mom's cats, who is very affectionate with her, loves to stare at her. Lovingly. For a looong time, sometimes slow-blinking, but mostly staring and purring. My mom calls me on the phone to talk about that, and all I can respond with is " I guess she likes how you look? ". Weirdo, but a sweetheart. My favorite cat, who has passed away now, used to catch my eye and then slow-blink at me when she saw that I was looking at her. I always responded by slow-blinking back and petting her.
My neighborhood cat always come to my house regardless after being fed. She's now pregnant and always want my attention. So whenever she wants my attention, she squeaks😅

Eventually he just accepted that as how we showed affection, so as soon as he heard "KITTY!!!!" he just began lying down on his own and waiting for us to come smoosh him 😅 We miss him so much.
Our cat is completly different. Like everyting that a cat dont like or hate . He just don care. He is just stupid most of the time but thats what i like about him

She even gets just as excited to see me when I come through the door as much as my boys (dogs) do!!! I can call out to her when she's upstairs, and she will either just meow, or ignore me, or come running down the stairs!!!! I love my Queen Bambi to the moon and back!!!!

My cat never meows I took him to the vet the other day and he was having respiratory issues and he got a shot and some meds and he meowed 5 times at me and winked at me when he was feeling better 😊
There's a guy here on RUclips that teaches some sounds you can make to communicate specific things with almost any domestic cat. The two I know are "Mrrrr-AH" where you trill the "mrrr" and raise your pitch on the "ah". That gets their attention to come to you. Another is "MAH-AH" in a quick, higher pitch to communicate that they just hurt you when they bit during play.
I talk to me cat with an excited and low voice, as she is playful and loves to follow me around my house and greets me at the door. She also isn't very talkative so she talks with her body instead.
