October 28th, 1940 is called Oxi Day which means "No Day" in Greek. The Italians under Mussolini met with the Greek envoy and demanded that Greece give up land to the Italians. This ultimatum, which was presented to Greek President Metaxas by the Italian ambassador to Greece, Emanuele Grazzi, shortly after 03:00 am on 28 October 1940, who had just come from a party in the Italian embassy in Athens, demanded Greece to allow Axis forces to enter Greek territory and occupy certain unspecified "strategic locations" or otherwise face war. It was allegedly answered with a single laconic word: όχι (No!). However, his actual reply was, “Alors, c’est la guerre!” (so this is war!).
In response to Metaxas's refusal, Italian troops stationed in Albania, then an Italian protectorate, attacked the Greek border at 05:30 am-the beginning of Greece's participation in World War II (see Greco-Italian War and the Battle of Greece).
On the morning of 28 October, the Greek population took to the streets, irrespective of political affiliation, shouting 'ohi'. From 1942, it was celebrated as Ohi Day, first mostly among the members of the resistance and after the war by all the Greeks.

i can't find a individual in the empires history that stands up to the legendary warriors and bravery of greek history

So let me tell a you real funny story when the Italians tried to bombard Athens many of the bombs didnt find the target and many went in to the sea at the port of Pireaus the people gathered there after the bombing find the sea full of fishes ready to be taken so the people were shouting to the airoplanes "Thank you , come in again tommorow"
Big PP confirmed. This is just like when American pilot droped bombs on Ho Chi Minh trail in Vietnam war, many times bombs missed the target and created a clear path or the NVA expanded the HCM trail. lmao
If you guys want to react to a very "Heavy" Sabaton song, I recommend "Counterstrike" -- super fast and heavy and its about the 6 day war in 1967-- Israelis against Egypt, Jordan, and Syria. And Israel kicked all their asses!
Greek nation is the only one on the planet who celebrates the October 28th, 1940 as the day we involved in WWII. Greek soldiers boarded the trains with smile and fun.
We threw Italians back away from our borders and took over albanian land by putting our flag in their asses with proud!
We are a small nation, with many many problems but through our 3.000 years history we always stood united against our enemies!

@@TheMan-je5xq It's the "No" that the then Greek prime minister Ioannis Metaxas said to the ultimatum that was given by the fascist Italian government. It says proven by deed because it wasn't just a word. It was proven by deed.

I love your Sabaton reaction videos, could you please react to their song “Long Live the King” (SWE: Konungens likfärd) from the album Carolus Rex? It’s about the death of Carolus Rex and the subsequent Carolean Death March that followed. And if you have the patience for it, could you please wait until November 30th? Because the thing is: On that day this very year, exactly 300 years has passed since king Carolus died. What better way to commemorate it then by reacting to that song. Whether you pick the English or the Swedish version you may decide for yourself, personally though I like the Swedish one better.

I would really reccomend you "Rauta" by Korpiklaani. These guys are basically the finnish rammstei, and have some of the best folk metal songs out there.
Finnish Rammstein is Turmion Kätilöt. Try song "Verta Ja Lihaa"

Also side note, Joakim was the keyboardist for the band but they couldn't find a lead singer so he had to go up until they find one. The running joke is that they are still looking for a lead singer

Pedro this song is so good because that galloping drum beat. You must try next Týr - The Lay of Thrym. That song has an awesome galloping drum beat.
