Osborne told the inquiry that 'Britain had a huge economic crash … it would have been worse, in my view and the view of many people, including the governor of the Bank of England at the time, Mervyn King, had we not also tried to address the risk to the public finances'.

He can reject all he wishes, it is still a mere rebuttal.
The work experience Chancellor demonstrates why he should never have held that office. When will be released from this amateurish bunch of Tory wastrels?

Austerity plan - those making $700 an hour convincing those making $25 an hour that the problem is those making $10 an hour.
Austerity. Taxes up, spending down. Ah yes the money is going on the on the books debt [borrowing] but most is going on the off the book debts.
Socialist pensions come with dire consequences.
Thats the tory way. Shift more money to the rich and blame the poor for everything
@@stevec6427 Where are the trilions the workers have paid the socialist welfare state?
Ah yes, you're left wing, you won't discuss socialist policy creating the austerity, the wealth inequality, the lack of investment, the social care crisis, pensioner poverty, low take home pay, ...
@@stevec6427 So look at the real transfer to the rich. The cost of net zero is $250 trillion
That's the same thing as the transfer from the poor to the rich greens. That's what the peasants are going to be forced to pay.
Absolutely spot on. Perfectly put. 👏
The worst of the worst.

Boris should never have been forced to resign.
He had a awful hand dealt him when he first became prime minister. While dealing with the brexit negotiations the worst crisis since WW2 the unprecedented pandemic then Afghanistan climate change Russia war in Ukraine.
Boris johnson is the best prime minister our country has ever had. And we have lost him because of shifty starmer and the undemocratic Labour whinging mps.

Boris was useless and lets be honest, he brought it on himself. He knew everyone was fed up with his lies but he just couldn't stop could he? The lies about Chris Pincher were the last straw
Boris getting pushed out was nothing to do with Labour, the tories had an 80 seat majority, they could do what they want and Labour could do nothing.
What did Boris ever achieve to make him great anyway? He negotiated and signed us up to his "oven ready" brexit deal which he later described as unacceptable. He oversaw a government which used a pandemic to throw billions of our money at his mates. On top of that, a fact his supporters seem to forget is as London Mayor, he implemented the first ever congestion / ULEZ charge and then as PM put pressure on Khan to expand it. He was the worst PM in my lifetime and that includes Blair
