There's a much easier way to do this... Press ctrl alt delete and then press task manager then press on the game your playing then right click and press goto details then right click on the game in details then press priority and set your priority to high then close the task manager and go back to your game and you would be pushing almost 150 fps on a potato pc. If you want to undo it then repeat the process and change your priority back to normal

Guys please understand that if you download "Quick CPU" and change the values you are basically overclocking your cpu (to people who don't know what that means, it means that you are making your cpu take even more resources and damage it in exchange for fps).
This can lead to overheating or circuit malfunction, and can be very dangerous. Please do this at your own risk.

@@AisjJsjss I realised this "Quick CPU" isn't that really dangerous. Because it doesn't really do much. It doesn't increase the base clock speed and it just makes the cpu run faster when idle, and use more resources. This can technically be bad if used over really long periods of time, but it still isn't that bad. So, you can use it without worrying.

My cpu as well is never above 20% unless I run BlueStacks, chrome, minecraft java, discord, steam and obs studio (this is all where I reach coz after this my cpu still just goes above 20% but my ram crashed my pc due to being maxed out) together.

for hard drive users, you can also use the defragment method so that the files on your laptop are neater and can increase the fps in the game.
Defragging will only help gaming if that game depends upon accessing maps and other data during use. It also helps the game to load faster. It doesn't improve framerates though.

One question: In the regedit steps where we change the values for GPU performance, why r we setting the "priority value to 7 instead of 6" ? I'm asking cuz I saw in a few forums "priority sets to 6" for best gaming performance.

The reason step 1 works and you see immediate improvement. Turning off shadows and animations gives your pc/laptop less to do and another example is that turning off thumbnails on picture folders means it can load a lot faster than if you have thumbnails on so your laptop/pc isn't loading a load of pictures. 😎
