Any great band has no one person responsible, or one person replaceable. Gina and Kathy were the soul and heartbeat of the band. Charlotte and Jane gave the band its hybrid sound of surfer/punk Belinda was/is a great voice and fronts the band well.
Gina Schock: the most delicious LAUGH. Kathy Valentine: the most fantastic HAIR CUT. The mature ones... the real women in the pack and the two best instrumentalists in the band.
Gina do you remember me tom and your friend Fredy beck in 1975. We were driving around in my 1973 blue cuda or Freddy's road runner. Going to Capt. Harvey's to get subs. I was in your house and played your blue pearl drum set. I lived in eastwood. Just saying hello our old friend tom

Richard Gottehrer, who produced the first two Go-Go's albums, has said that Gina and Kathy were the two best instrumentalists in the band, at least back in the early 1980s.
Wow both Kathy and Gina look so cool and I love their outfits and they look so good 😊
Always had a big crush on Kathy. Saw her up close in Astroworld in Houston in 1983. Even more attractive than on TV
I've actually had the pleasure of meeting both of them, and yes she is even more beautiful in person to this day

I`m here in 2024 watching Gina Schock on Svengoolie.
Still a fan since i was a kid in the 80s
When I found out Kathy V also played with Girl's School I was quite chuffed. My two favorite all girl bands!
Love ❤❤❤ GoGo Women
Kathy still has 20 years to smoulder into the sexiest damn female bass player in musical history
In that Central Park video she was hotter than a 12 ball roman candle.
Gina Schock: the most delicious LAUGH.
Kathy Valentine: the most fantastic HAIR CUT.

I love these two girls,(especially Gina)
Gina snortleing at how Kathy almost said "carpal sunnel tyndrome." LOL
Gina still has her Baltimore (Dundalk) accent.
Its so cute.
Gina Schock: the most delicious LAUGH.
Too bad or I wish Martha had done this interview BAREFOOT! In my opinion, THAT would've been SOMETHIN' !

Loved Captain Harveys
Did you ever go to the drive thru for a Cheezy-Q at the Circle? They were the best.
That's impressive. Gina is a wonderful drummer and seems like she'd be really cool to know.

That's so rude of Martha.
When someone shows u a scar u don't eww
Especially a woman
Omg
Jesus! Yeah.
Gina took it well though.
She asked to see it to be shady.
Gina sounds like someone from back in NY, I know she's from Baltimore.
The accent is like New York, Philly, Boston & the South combined, very unique!
Feel better Gina! 😐
In my opinion, Martha has some GREAT LOOKING LEGS!
Nah!
Kathy's legs were the bomb!
But here, in this interview, Gina's legs get all the attention.
Gina and Kathy are no slouches in the legs department either.
That « Eeeeeewwwww! » just has to be the dumbest reaction to someone showing you their scar, especially when you are the one who asked to see it!
Martha Quinn body shaming Gina over a surgery scar..weird...
Gina had heart surgery back then too, Gina was just commenting out of concern, not shaming.
I think Martha was more squeamish than she thought she'd be. Gina played it off well.
I always thought these two were the talent in the band.

They were the rythym section of the band, very essential. Yes, they rocked. I think the whole band is extremely talented.

I wish Kathy would have stayed with them
James Davis she didn't have a choice. They kicked her out. :(
she did...til they fired her just a few years ago
She has played with the Bangles lately. What is it with lady bass guitar players. Why is there conflict with them?
Kathy came back to them..
@@garysimons1608 Annette Zilinksas recently reunited with The Bangles.
Three way would have been nice to watch.
Your beard fools nobody.
