- Yankees manager Aaron Boone believes the Yankees-Dodgers World Series showdown is the one most fans wanted to see, even more so than another Subway Series with the Mets . Regarding the Dodgers, he reflected on his father Bob's career with the Phillies and their intense rivalry with LA. Boone also confirmed that ace Gerrit Cole will start Game 1 of the Fall Classic.

Watched both series . Yankees played very close games. Dodgers match ups against 2 of the hottest teams going into the playoffs.. padres and Mets.. they had so many shutout blowouts against these twos gonna be tough.

I am 59 years old. I have been watching baseball games for decades. I played baseball in high school. I know what I'm talking about. I am a Yankee fan, but the Dodgers are amazing. It's not the end of the world.
