Man I remember the mohaa days. That game is still my favorite multiplayer shooter of all time. Multiplayer was so underrated. Met one of my best friends to this day playing that game. Back when life was easy! Go to class, come home jump on IRC, AIM, start your Napster/Kazaa downloads, burn some cd’s and play mohaa! Internet is garbage these days. None of that streaming crap existed nor these try hard sweats. Early 2000’s gaming was where it was at
Wow, I feel like we are of the same age. I did all you said as well. Do you remember when we first started to hear about Call of Duty?? I feel like these games involved a bit more tactics. Now I see a bunch of rush and shoot in the new games. I get it, though. I rarely play any games now, especially consoles. When I try to play the new games now, they don't feel the same. It kind of feels a bit addictive now. All the microtransaction pop-ups are also very annoying. I think people forget when you can simply turn on the game console and press 'Start' to begin playing.
Ok. I gotta say this. I’m sick of the “every new release must innovate the entire genre”, I’m playing space marine 2, and it’s an absolute blast, and you know what, it’s using old school formulas to make a fun and thrilling game. So for the love of god STOP thinking every single new release MUST be “game changing”, sometimes, good old fashioned fun is all you need.
Dude, I want to thank you for not bringing up the WWII FPS fatigue made up by gaming journalists, which arguably killed this amazing franchise!!! By trying to influence the masses, they were able to sway opinion away from WWII FPSes by manufacturing disdain for the past, and history in general.
So.. Delta Force is coming out and it is a blatant clone for Battlefield but with better gunplay, cool gadget mechanics and no destruction. People are looking forward to it killing Battlefield after the way 2042 was handled. It would be interesting to see if that actually happens. It would be even more interesting if, in response, EA shelved Battlefield and brought Medal of Honor back. Because as it stands, consoles don’t really have a realistic-ish shooter outside of Insurgency Sandstorm Sidebar: It is so funny to see that EA has been fumbling bags since the early 2000s.
Sick story, man! I know this awesome feeling, and CsGo was probably the first game to give it to me on the constant basis. As I age, less and less games are capable of evoking the same excitement in me, but Cyberpunk 2077 and Delta Force totally did that for me! Is there any games that affected you recently?
@ hard because I only game when I am alone which is not much. But if I had to pick a recent game, I would say the Nier games. They were not too long (without trying to 100% complete it) nor hard and I very much enjoyed them. I heard the creator took a lot gameplay influence from older games. Not sure how true that is, but there were many times I felt the same feelings as when I played Ocarina of Time and Parasite Eve.
Thx yes feel likes but im not 100% sure. So the first thing you would have to do is give Id Software free hands and free them. Another company is Raven Software, which together with Id Software should first make Soldier Of Fortune 3 on Id Tech 8. then add the 2015 + Spielberg team to them, but it's still impossible because the license is still in the hands of EA ;/
Hello Game's Guru! This is a really good video. I am hoping we can discuss a collaboration. I have a Magazine that I would love to feature your writing.

Awesome video I always wondered what happened to the series. If it went on today EA would have managed to killed it following the call of duty model.

MOH frontlines was the first game I got for the ps2 . Good times
This is the first game that turned me into a 'gamer'. Led me to rush home and log in so I can play with my clan.
