My mother came from Africa to visit me and my family in 2018, she doesn't understand English very well, but she used to watch Chris every night and she loved him. Yesterday I called her and she said, next year I'm coming, I wanna listen to my boy Chris 🤣🤣🤣, she said because of him , I better on English when comes to understanding. I was like wow. I use to watch Chris every night , he was dynamic, he was straight on with whoever he was interviewing. I no longer watch CNN , I keep up with the news with Morning Joe on MSCBC . I can’t believe that his colleagues like Don Lemon let him down, so much for friendship, I know they were friends outside with their families, unbelievable!

I do not think it’s fair to totally discard someone’s life’s work and accomplishments because of a mistake or unproven allegations. Seeing what the Cuomo brothers have been through is incredibly sad to me. Both of them deserve much better.

Chris Cuomo is really the best male newsman in the business. He looks great, his voice is great, his knowledge of the facts is great, his power of confrontation with guess is great. I really can't believe he was thrown out. He's amazing.
This was a very hard interview for him. It's not easy for him to answer these questions. You can tell he's struggling. I respect him very much for being so open and honest.

I was so glad to see this pop up on my youtube recommendations. I'm not real big on corporate media, +qq+ but Chris was one of the few I watched faithfully. It's never been the same. I miss Don and Chris during their shift change.
I didn't really know the true facts behind it all, but anyone who loved their sibling woukd do the same. Which doesn't seem like a reason to let Chris Cuomo go. He was the only one from CNN I watched.

Sometimes they disagreed on a matter, and just made for good conversation in that whole minute they shared. I wish they would of at least given Chris a warning bf they let him go. I didn't mind when Chris would chat w Andrew occasionally. I guess it was against policy. I have always respected Chris Cuomo. I still do. The fact that he advised his brother does not change my opinion of him one bit. He has always maintained that family is number one on the priority scale, so helping his brother doesn't surprise me. He did it out of love and loyalty, two things I value most in a relationship. He was extremely good at his job. I know his brother must feel guilty for accepting Chris's help, and for the outcome. I don't believe that Chris could have done anything other than advising him. It's a damn shame. Now, congratulations on joining the team at NewsNation. It will be great to see him back where he belongs!

Who wouldn't try to help a member of their family in a similar situation. Andrew Cuomo should have never put his brother in the situation in the first place, by asking him to help. Did I hear that right? Don Lemon did not reach out at all? What about the bromance of the Century? I thought that they were real friends. Don Lemon is disgusting for not standing by his friend, at least on a personal level. A good friend is hard to find, cherish those that have proven their solidarity and loyalty.

I understand. He is the only reporter I trust. He was willing to chat with anyone, even if they disagreed with his views. I am surprised at Don Lemon. Was all that "I love you brother" just hype? Chris knows with hindsight he should have handled some matters better, but it was a difficult dilema, especially someone who is straightforward as they come. The real surprise was how his fellow colleagues, including Don Lemon, handled Chris. No-one talked man to man? Colleague to Colleague! A pity!

Enjoyed the interview and will be following Chris. I think Chris went through a “Baptism by Fire”. He believed he was a good person and thought others saw him the same way. I think it was a shock to his system when people that he knew and some he didn’t turned on him like vultures. I wish him well.

I feel really bad for Chris here. You can tell he’s stressed because his wrists are crossed in defensive mode. However I just want to confess how much I miss his interactions with Don Lemon. It’s highly underestimated how impactful their friendship and relentless acknowledgement of mutual love were. At the time, I thought it bordered on corny and glib. But now in retrospect I can see how courageous and inspiring it was. More importantly it’s clearly missing in today’s media. There’s nothing else like it anywhere. 🤷🏾 They literally had lightning captured in a bottle!
However, it seems to have left Don Lemon abandoned on a deserted island.
