Kim Hyun Chul did not steal any songs. He's a great artist and deserves more credit and recognition. If you take issue with him taking inspiration from American/Japanese music you have a moral obligation to do the same thing for the entire rap genre. Unlike Kim, most rap music is made by people who don't even understand how music works and are actual thieves.

Why is there no anger over Stay With Me by Miki Matsubara being plagiarized from Carole Bayer Sager's "It's the Falling in Love"? Could it be because you're only targeting Korean artists? Surely there couldn't be an agenda, or is there?

There's some songs that do have similar beats or vocals but there's enough to set them apart from the original songs for them to not be plagiarism. If Kim Hyun Chul was to be sued for copyright I strongly suspect he'd win the court case. I've seen far worse not only in Korea but even in the west. You'd have a heart attack if you ever found out about sampling, which unlike what Kim was doing is actually stealing.
