One meaning of Jagat is “world”. But Jagat also means “our world”…
because the only world we truly see and experience is the world around us. For example if we haven’t experienced Antarctica, it’s not part of our own subjective world.
Now what is it that shows light to the world? In a literal sense, it is the sun.
But in a deeper philosophical sense, the atman inside us is our own personal sun. Because it’s only through this light that we can see our own “jagat”.
So when Hanumanji is called “jagat ujiyara” he is identified with our inner atman - and that inner atman is timeless. It was present when in all the yugas and even before the advent of time itself.
In fact in Advaita Vedanta, all realised masters reach this place of timeless boundless existence when they achieve moksha.
