      Also back to comment on nonfiction…Divine Might - I love mythology & stories that center the women & this author does a lot with that. Also read The Woman They Could Not Silence and loved it. As an 80’s child living in Florida I also really got a lot from the new Challenger book by Adam Higgenbotham (can’t recall the exact title). Happy reading & happy 2025!

    I always enjoy your prep work videos for the year to come. The way you do it makes so much sense to me. Thankful to you for sharing your process. 2024 seems to have been a very challenging year for many. 2 years since you were unwell and in hospital with kidney issue 😮. Cannot believe it’s 2 years !!!

    I love watching your annual goal setting videos. I found you last year when you were working through your assessment and setting your goals for the new year and I'm back again to go through it with you now! I don't use a Makselife throughout the year but I do use parts of their goal setting to help start off successfully in the new year. Thanks for being so relatable and sharing your process!

    So helpful, thorough, personable and honest.....I really appreciate all your videos. I'm a retired educator (happy!) and hope things work out in your home state with the curriculum, a lot to deal with......with work goals, maybe imagine each scenario/outcome that could happen, and your plan of what to do in each case. It's hard to set goals when someone else is in charge. As for reading, did you say you're reading non-fiction now and imply you want to get into fiction? If so, you might enjoy Demon Copperhead, nice change from Grit, Mindset, all those great educator reads. Cats......have you watched the movie Kedi? Soooo good!

      @@sandradeshong3628 there’s not one for yearly reflections that I’m aware of but you could definitely jot down some notes for each of the prompts.

    Ok, so, a bit out of left field... but my half-brother Brian shares your last name. His relationship with his father Mike was not good, and Mike passed away many years ago (I want to say in the 80s or early 90s?). Brian has been estranged from that side of the family for years now. Aaaannnyway, when you mentioned the castle I looked it up and sent it to my brother, and shared a link to your channel, and Brian came back and said that he can see a family resemblance with you. My husband and I agree... Might you have family who are or were in California?

    • @tattooedteacherplans
      @tattooedteacherplans  Месяц назад

      Nope, my dad's side of the family hails from Eastern Tennessee. But there are Rankins all over the US! We started migrating in the 1600s and 1700s, mostly through Pennsylvania. A lot of them settled in Tennessee because the climate and landscape resemble the Isle of Mull. But there are even some in my town that I'm sure I'm related to way back. (I'm a genealogy nerd.)
