As I lie here in bed dealing with a vile stomach virus, I "accidently" ran across Olive Baptist. This music, the use of the old hymns of the church, John the director,the choir, the soloist, the orchestra what an awesome combination that lifts the soul upward into the glorious presence of our Lord Jesus. My soul is renewed. Thank you for being a witness to me today!❤

Just LOVE these old hymns. Rarely do you hear them in “modern” churches anymore. One thing I wish song leaders would be aware of and that’s if they have the mic too close to their mouth, it drowns out the congregational singing and his is the only voice heard. Congregational singing is 50% of the enjoyment. The other 50% is hearing/singing all the old songs I know by heart.
I was reared through the early years and to faith that reflects these aspects of God’s grace and they are very specific and personal to me as to countless believers. Despite my own errors and limitations, God speaks to me personally here… though his wisdom extends far beyond my awareness. Thank you for this ministry and for this window into Grace. Wonderful singing.If only you will demonstrate your love for God by keeping his commandment .(See John 14:15 ...Ecclesiastes 12: 13 , 14 Hebrews 10: 26 , 27 .......Mathew 15: 9. I would like to see this whole church in heaven....if only they will keep God's ten commandments and be converted. (See Psalms 19 : 7...Psalms 1:2) Remember...although we are saved by grace ...God wants us keep his law ...See Ecclesiastes 12: 13 , 14...He also wants us to mediate in His law...See Psalms 1 : 2 Failure to accept ALL TEN COMMANDMENTS will put us in the group of Mathew 15: 9. and this will be a disaster. See also 1John 3:4..and Hebrews 10:26.
