What's up Kieran, enjoy AZ, been there a few times but mostly spending time in the Yuma area. Last time early in 2020 just before things went bonkers. Nothing for actual record stores there that I could find but I usually came up with the odd score at the thrift stores, original DJ copy of Getz/Gilberto being one of the first. Hugh Mundell is a heck of a find, good one. Got the Bohannon and the Fontella myself. Cheers!
I always enjoy seeing record stores, thank you for taking time to share some footage. I would struggle to visit that many stores as it would cost me way too much money, lack of self control haha.
Definitely a struggle. Thankfully I was somewhat limited by how many I could carry home on the plane. If I was driving home it would have cost me even more.

So much fun. Going to the same shops over and over gets discouraging. Feels like there is nothing most of the time. Although I didn’t find as many hidden gem lying in the genre sections as I would have thought. A lot of west coast and older jazz in the jazz sections. Not much modal post bop type stuff at all
double nickels is the spot...joe and michael are hella cool...ive bought so much shit from there lol...i sold them my collection a few years ago...they have good shit all the time..but like they said its on radar and goes quick...crazy you came out to az...peace
The two guys there were super friendly and funny. Like most places nowadays you gotta pop in regularly to get the good shit. First time in Arizona. Probably not my last
I did. This was my was my second day of digging. I hit up the in groove and a few other shops. Only bought one record at in groove. Lots of great records there but I found it a bit expensive. I am quite strict about not over paying for records. Which is why I think almost every shop these days is to expensive. 😂
