I totally get what your saying. I didn't get saved until I was 40. Sold everything, gathered up my family (5 kids and my wife) and went to Bible school in Abbottsford and graduated at 50. I did not have any of the biblical knowledge that most kids/ adults have about end times. I had an amazing eschatology professor at Summit Pacific College who was willing to answer my crazy questions and really helped me understand end times better. Thank you for all you do. God bless you and your ministry

Did you happen to attend CBC? I may live in the same town.
This might be hard to hear, especially in light of the fact that you’re now “educated” into this way of thinking now, but Futurism comes from the Jesuits. This is 100% fact. There is hope still just like for me who, was also very much entrenched in these kinds of beliefs.
If you and I don’t connect, or can’t, try looking up “John Doerr 1611” here on RUclips. And another one, “Rescuing the church” by Reg Block. These two men, were the “help” I was desperately praying for.
We live in i credibly deceptive times….pray about this.
      Mike

I would refer those of you who want to continue the conversation/exploration of this topic to a few speakers who answer or speak to all of these points (and more) from Jewish, theological, historical, textual etc perspectives.
Andy Woods (56 sessions to date in the Rapture)
    Amir Tsarfati (Messianic Jew)
    Jack Hibbs
....just a few of the many.
And so far, I have found none if them use mocking tones of those who hold views different from theirs. Only clear and succinct arguments/reasons. Particularly in Andy Wood's case - whose experience as a lawyer, prior to his Theological pursuits, is clearly evident.
    Bless you!

The Magician's Nephew is definitively not the first one. The publishers may have gotten away with that, but it was never intended to be. It's the answer to all the mysteries, the filling on of backstory only hinted at before. The setup for the end, showing first how it all began. Putting it first is a disservice to the series. It is meant to come as it comes- a pause, a change, a breath, a moment to look back... before moving into the final battle.
It's like putting the backstage tour where the magician explains his secrets before the magic show itself; afterward, it is complementary... but beforehand, it just takes all the mystery and majesty out of the forthcoming show. :-) That's my two cents, at least. The mystery and wonder of The Lion, The Witch, and the Wardrobe functions best when it is read first; when the Pevensies' story as a trilogy bridges into Eustace, which hands off to meditations about good and evil, the forces of evil (Tash) and good (Aslan) in Horse and His Boy and Magician's Nephew respectively, building from the simple fantasy of the Pevensies stories to far greater, cosmological questions- as a setup to when all of those long-building machinations come together in The Last Battle. There is a great thematic elegance there which putting Magician's Nephew first and Horse and His Boy third dilutes and misses out on.

I'll skip the eschatological related, replacement theology question?, rather I'll ask, was Dietrich Bonhoeffer and the confessing Church wrong? Or was the mainline church corrupt??
Seems as if that whole scenario is replaying now again, tho exponentially greater this time.
The events of today fit well, even perfectly, with pretrib dispensational eschatology, this from one on the fence, but it sure looks like a duck to me. This not a relative perspective, but absolutely true, those in the mainline either miss or deny that truth.
The one question remaining, and of great weight for myself is, how does God see the mainline Church, of then and of today. The then is a sad truth of Christian history, the now may also be. The worst case, " go away fore I never knew you" , oh woe, may that not be true.
Hiding in fear, safety, denying Jesus in our actions. Not willing to stand against the uprising of global evil, because of the great cost, the suffering, the loss, the pain; or maybe worse, not even seeing it occuring, so similar to mid 30s Germany once again. Those who lead others in that direction, as the mainline of past, oh woe to you.
    We will soon see if..
Myself, even when unsure, I'd rather do something of action in faith, even if wrong, rather than to be paralyzed with fear and do nothing; especially when doing nothing allows evil to advance and prosper, and humanity to suffer greatly.
“Silence in the face of evil is itself evil. God will not hold us guiltless. Not to speak is to speak. Not to act is to act.”[

    1 Corinthians 15:51-52 kjv
51 Behold, I shew you a mystery; We shall not all sleep, but we shall all be changed,
52 In a moment, in the twinkling of an eye, at the last trump: for the trumpet shall sound, and the dead shall be raised incorruptible, and we shall be changed.
    1 Thess 4:13-17 kjv
13 But I would not have you to be ignorant, brethren, concerning them which are asleep, that ye sorrow not, even as others which have no hope.
14 For if we believe that Jesus died and rose again, even so them also which sleep in Jesus will God bring with him.
15 For this we say unto you by the word of the Lord, that we which are alive and remain unto the coming of the Lord shall not prevent them which are asleep.
16 For the Lord himself shall descend from heaven with a shout, with the voice of the archangel, and with the trump of God: and the dead in Christ shall rise first:
17 Then we which are alive and remain shall be caught up together with them in the clouds, to meet the Lord in the air: and so shall we ever be with the Lord.
The last trump is the 7th and last Angel in Revelation 11:15-19 kjv
15 And the seventh angel sounded; and there were great voices in heaven, saying, The kingdoms of this world are become the kingdoms of our Lord, and of his Christ; and he shall reign for ever and ever.
16 And the four and twenty elders, which sat before God on their seats, fell upon their faces, and worshipped God,
17 Saying, We give thee thanks, O Lord God Almighty, which art, and wast, and art to come; because thou hast taken to thee thy great power, and hast reigned.
18 And the nations were angry, and thy wrath is come, and the time of the dead, that they should be judged, and that thou shouldest give reward unto thy servants the prophets, and to the saints, and them that fear thy name, small and great; and shouldest destroy them which destroy the earth.
19 And the temple of God was opened in heaven, and there was seen in his temple the ark of his testament: and there were lightnings, and voices, and thunderings, and an earthquake, and great hail.
And that's it....the Last Day, the End of the World....Judgement!
First is Vengeance (wrath of God), Harvest, Judgement and Wedding which is in Heaven or New Jerusalem and even called the Garden of Eden! Full circle...Ecc 1:9 kjv.

    We must be born again!
Then Jesus has baptized you with the Holy Spirit.
The Holy Spirit do not let you sin anymore!!!
To become born again you have to repent and ask Jesus forgiveness for your sins or ask Jesus in your heart!
A really born again Christian has no future sins!! He is perfect, righteous and the light of the world.
    Please study : 1 John 3, Romans 6:6, Romans 8, Gal 5, Eph 4 and Titus 2:14!!

Yes, BEFORE we are born again we sin
AFTER that it’s impossible to sin because then you are God’s seed
      Gods seed cannot sin.
      1 John 2:
3 And hereby we do know that we know him, if we keep his commandments.
4 He that saith, I know him, and keepeth not his commandments, is a liar, and the truth is not in him.
5 But whoso keepeth his word, in him verily is the love of God perfected: hereby know we that we are in him.
6 He that saith he abideth in him ought himself also so to walk, even as he walked.
Then you are like Jesus = sinless

Jesus told Christians to pray for God's Kingdom to come and for His will to be done on earth as it is in heaven, didn't he? God's Kingdom is a heavenly government ruled by Jesus Christ as King. Soon Jesus will bring beautiful changes to the earth. There will be no more death, pain or sorrow on earth, Revelation 21:4,5! No more wickedness on earth, Psalms 37:9-11! After Armageddon the meek will inherit the earth and live forever on it, Psalms 37:28; Matthew 5:5; Proverbs 2:21,22! The earth will be cultivated into a Paradise like God intended in the beginning, Genesis 1:28; Isaiah 55:11! Jesus will do on a grand scale what he did when he walked the earth including raising those who are asleep in death, John 5:28,29! There will only be one government over the entire earth forever, Daniel 2:44! Jesus said that this good news of the Kingdom would be preached about in all the inhabited earth for a witness to all the nations, and then the end will come, Matthew 24:14! Soon Jesus will make sure that God's Will is done on earth as it is in heaven, will you be there to see it? John 4:22-24; John 17:3; Isaiah 42:8!
