Chopper will die and fulfill his role as an emergency meal, this one long time setup will finally pay off

Even though Ussops death has thematic ringing, of all the strawhats Ussops has the strongest call for "return home changed". I can even see an scenario where Ussops "dies" publicly just to return home to Kaya. I will go full circle with Ussops having truth stories of great adventures and no one believing him because "God Ussop died, it's in the news", except for Kaya off course.
I think its fitting for Ussop to fake his death.
That'd be kinda perfect
If shanks is gonna die, I would like to see him go full power in at least 2 fights.
Oda: How about 1…and 75% is off screen…take it or leave it
You better count that one we already got as one if you want two fights 😂

Won't happen. He'll only get a flex of "this would've beaten almost anyone else" but Blackbeard will be an exception.
Luffy and Blackbeard, easy.
Great video morj, not sure how I felt about the 8 minute rant about how Oda needs to kill Gaimon, but I loved the rest!
Im sorry what 💀
Agreed that hate was unnessecary
Nah sorry. If you read carefully you know Gaimon was controlling Blackbeard and caused Ace‘s death. Credible theories even assume he is behind Imu… He has to go
@@DunklerZebralord Gaimon solo OP verse confirmed ??😳
Knowing that Kaya is waiting back home for Usopp... will only make it that much harder on us if it ever happens that he will die... its like that one story you know where there is a woman who waits for his lover to come back from the seas or war (i don't remember which one)... but the man dies overseas... and the women lies ever waiting...
But you could also say that this story inspiration has already been used in One Piece once coz Portgas D Rogue was kinda like that woman from the story
Dang ! That's hurt 🤕
Only kinda though... as she already knew Roger was dead. And instead was hellbent on carrying on his legacy via his child Ace.
Kaya, on the other hand, would be a 1-1 example of the classic widow-to-man-at-war story as she is fully expecting Usopp to come back. Therefore if Usopp dies out at sea, she's left mourning with the realization her last time she saw him face to face was when he left Syrup village.
Yeah and that's precisely one of the reasons why I also think that Usopp will die so Kaya, and the kids, can tell the story of that Brave Warrior of the Sea that came out of that very village. It's tragic but it would also be beautiful to have the image of Usopp become such an inspiration for the kids after every story that he hold them, including leading an army of 8000 strong, would've come true.
Since Oda let Kinemon go home, he'll probably let Usopp go home too.
Maybe he meets Kaya before the final war against the world government, and he dies in the battle
I think Usopp's story's most fitting ending were if he were to perform an act in which he fully and totally believes he is accepting death and sacrificing himself, is successful in doing so, but then at the last moment some comical series of events saves his life.
This is how it will play out, if it happens. 0% chance Oda kills one of the earliest Strawhats.
@@Xspaz15X yeah morj just clickbaiting with stuff like this again
I agree, though I think Usopp might have to pay a heavy physical price for it. Something losing an arm so he can no longer use his slingshots and has to hang up the sniper king moniker and stop being a warrior. That would be almost as impactful as his death
@avataraarow Possibly. I don't see this happening before the final war though.
@@ThorRagnarok-oc2hlyeah this dude is weird asf for saying that
The reason Usopp’s dream seems vague is because even he does not yet fully understand it. Usopp’s true dream is self acceptance, and he WILL NOT find this by dying. What Ussop NEEDS to accept with bravery is not his own death, but rather himself. What Ussop is still truly afraid of, holding him back from being a brave warrior, is his own weakness being a burden to his loved ones. He thinks that he is a burden to his father who left him and to the Strawhats because he is “weak”. He feels pressure to take on challenges outside of his skillset which he cannot stand up to. He still fears his friends thinking he is useless and casting him away. Still, he considers himself as a burden to others enough that only sacrificing his own life could make up for it. It is scary to bet on yourself to the very end- especially so for Usopp.
Knowing Ussop, martyring himself is actually him running away. Ussop would rather choose to give up living to protect his friends without being brave enough in himself to try to find a way to help and survive first. It IS NOT brave to leave your friends behind mourning you.
It would be much more powerful storytelling for Ussop to instead be presented with this life or death situation but to find the courage in in himself to look for an out where everyone survives- whether that is by his own hand or accepting the things he can’t do and entrusting this to his crew mates(similar to Sanji/Robin in Wano).
It would be a major bummer if he achieves his dream only to die. I think Morj just wants to kill Usopp 😂
Isn't that Doflamingo (I think?) quote, "The weak don't get to choose how to die" RELEVANT to Usopp's belief system about survival (and that speech he gave to the samurai during the Onigashima battle)? Maybe this foreshadows that powerful ending you're looking for. I believe that's also where his "telling Nami to lie thing" was all about as well. It wasn't about betrayal or "disrespecting" Luffy. It was about survival. He wanted Nami to survive, and not die just because Ulti was forcing her hand. Nami's a friend after all! So, I think that represents Usopp's growth, which people don't see. But like you said he still hasn't recognized certain aspects of that belief. In general, he isn't afraid to admit or showcase he's scared (the island diseases, and the running away and crying) but because of that admission, he thinks himself a burden.
I think his biggest moments really revolve around protecting his friends (even when it is seemingly misguided - Kaya/Villagers and Kuro (Syrup Village), Going Merry/The Crew during Water 7, Robin/Luffy and (World Gov't) Enies Lobby, and Luffy/Robin and (Sugar) Dressrosa). But I think finding a way out and sacrificing is always contradicting itself in those moments. Yet, the pressure in himself and self-acceptance shine through as a dichotomy. In all those moments he goes from "I have to go at it alone because it's all my fault" to "I'm gonna make sure we all make it out of here alive with whatever I can do in the best way I can").
Yet, I think the movies showcase your point of Usopp being presented with this life-or-death situation where he finds the courage in himself to look for an out. Like in Gold, Stampede, and Red. That's when his resolve and the serious sides of himself the OP fans are (always) looking for are presented.
Law's faith was sealed the momment the immortality surgery was revealed
FATE not Faith
he's def not doing it on luffy, as luffy has stated he's not interested in immortality. meaning either at the hands of blackbeard or imu
Law Role is meets his reality When he heals luffy give his heart power to luffy a special kind of a semi Immortal surgery , Law late awakening ,Bonney get awakening luffy power get leaks continuous so he awakening others it's something to do with law Specials surgery ability's LAW is supportive type character .
but here's the kicker, what if the surgery can undo Death, instead of make someone immortal? it's a personal theory of mine that Luffy is gonna die soon, either before the final battle or after, but let's say that Law chooses to do this because while he's not the biggest friend of Luffy's he is his friend and cant bring himself to watch another friend die. tbh i can see the WG hiding the truth of the OP OP Fruit and only having used it to make someone immortal.@@yaseen9044
@@yaseen9044 However, Luffy is also the only character in the series to have attacks like Gear 2 lower his life span, although he can control it now, as well as the endorphins and hormones injected into him my Iva multiple times. Luffy doesn't care about death but maybe his over-use of his life leads to his death before he could kill/defeat Imu or create/find the one piece
Akainu is the most likely one. You talk about Aokiji having no place in the story after the end but that's even more true for Akainu. He's simply too powerful and has too much conviction on his "Absolute Justice" to be left alone roaming the world killing people he thinks are evil. He's also technically not straight up killing regular people so he wouldn't just be arrested by the "good" marines after they're reformed. I'm not saying Luffy will kill him (this obviously won't happen), but he could die for other reasons, even redeeming himself if he realizes the Gorousei are actually the true evil and going out as a sacrifice.
I think this video focuses more on which good guys will die. Because if we consider villains, its almost certain that Akainu, BB, Gorosei, etc. are more likely to die than Ussop.
Akainu dying after a hard fight with Im would kinda go hard and I could totally see it.
I imagine sakazuki die standing just like Whitebeard
The thing with Usopp is that Kaya began studying medicine to take care of him when he comes back from his adventures, that along with the fact he is part of the main crew, makes me think there's no way Usopp dies
That'll even be all the more better if he dies
That'll even be all the more better if he dies
That'll even be all the more better if he dies
That'll even be all the more better if he dies
That'll even be all the more better if he dies
I don't think either Law or Usopp will die, not because there aren't flags, but because I think there's reason to believe both of these ideas are to be subverted. Law may have fulfilled his original goal of avenging Corazon, but Law himself wasn't satisfied with that, he said as much during his conversation with Sengoku. And at that, Sengoku set him straight. "You don't need to do anything for Rosinante" "just live life remembering him, that's enough." Law's life purpose is simply to have a life. Law doesn't seem satisfied with this though, hence why he still pursues One Piece, and the meaning of D. While I could see Law try to forfeit his life, perhaps to give Luffy immortality to match Imu, I think he would be stopped. And that would be the point. His life isn't expendable as he thinks it is.
As for Usopp, his view of "a brave warrior of the sea," has always been misguided. He's been chasing this dream figment of a brave man of the sea, cause that's how his father was described to him. He wants to be like his dad, to be closer to him. I suspect the nature of his dream is going to change a lot when he reaches Elbaf and meets Yassop. And while he might find himself in the scenario he described, and he might shout that he's a brave warrior of the sea, it'd be a lie, and only then would he realize that this isn't what he wants. There are people he wants to be with, to see. He has a promise to fulfill with Kaya, and unlike his Dad, Usopp will return home. If he died at sea, he'd be just the same as his father. (perhaps we could even get a cutaway to Kaya getting sick again, not unlike Usopp's mom)
But I think it's about Usopp actually finding out what "being a brave warrior of the sea" means to himself. Like his lie about "the Pirates are coming", which had a double meaning. Perhaps that lie was something he foresaw (because his lies do indeed become true), but also he always wanted his dad to come home for his mom. Therefore, we may know what being a brave warrior of the sea is on a surface level, but in Usopp's heart, there is something that lies much deeper.
@@dittosame-o67 Oh that could be interesting. Somehow becoming a brave warrior of the sea, means coming home.
You mention that Oda Killed off an entire island, but the one character from that Island we have a relationship with as a reader is still alive
I could see imu killing off ussop to make it the final conflict more personal between him and luffy
That would be a terrible death for the theme of one piece unless oda wanted a tragic death. This would mean Luffy failed as a captain again.
Probably not Imu him/herself but as part of a big sacrifice facing an enemy force.
There is a lie that has to be fulfilled and it's him leading 8000 strong in battle so if that happens, I can see him making a final stand and dying. The thing is that as per the dialogue that Morj pointed out, he would've to be alone and in a sort of "deserted" place.
@@2mellow35 Usopp dying would always mean Luffy failed...no matter the way he dies..
My point is, if Usopp's end is him dying, it will always be a black spot on Luffy's resume, so that is not fair.
@@2mellow35since when Luffy failed as a captain? Even if that weakling dies no one would care because that character most likely betray Luffy ideals to survive (wano arc) or think his ego is far more important than others (water 7). The only feat he has in the story is that he failed miserably but due to humor and “fun” he succeeded with that failure(dressrosa). If he will have something like redemption arc when he’ll actually do something good and die as a result that at least will do some damage control but in the end usopp is the worst strawhat member. Even if this girl from his town is waiting on him it’d be better for her to find good guy who’s not gonna pretend he’s brave. Because after two years and after Luffy achieved emperor status, nami from someone who’d betray Luffy for money now became second zoro and ready to die instead of saying Luffy won’t make it, Zoro becoming king of hell and other strawhats making progress and character development usopp is still a whiny bitch who always runs.
I feel like Usopp won't die just because Kaya said she's going to treat his wounds when he comes back home. I feel like it's more likely that Usopp will be in horrible condition by the end of the series. We've seen Oda showing his skull breaking when he fought Mr 4 and Ulti as well so perhaps that's setting up some horrific long term physical damage

This is that good stuff. I’ve always felt the same way about the Usopp, Law, and Shanks stuff. You’ve even made me change my mind on Usopp because of the Law argument, we can still have that impactful death of a major fan favorite character that’s close to Luffy/Strawhats without actually losing a crew member in a similar way to how we lost Ace. The major question about Ussops death is who would kill him? Is there someone set up to kill him?
There isn't any evidence but people think thats how he'd become a brave warrior which doesn't make a whole lot of sense.
He’s going to fake his death
My bet is something related to the 8000 warriors that he's meant to lead at some point.
Blackbeard
Mihawk 100%
I agree on Usopp dying to achieve his dream, but now I'm worried that we'll get to see this moment way earlier than I hoped..
I always believed, Ussop will sacrifice himself to save the world, making him the bravest warrior on the sea
You mentioned that every character who died had fulfilled their dream/purpose but what you didn't mention was that there was always someone to carry on their dream and/or legacy. Izo had kiku, ashura dojo had the other scabbards, Sabo took up aces legacy, carrot has Pedro's will. And for those reasons I don't think usopp or law will die. They're part of the new generation. Especially law. He has to continue corazon's legacy. And in my own head canon usopp is the narrator in one piece and is telling us this story from some number of years in the future. I do believe shanks and Kuma will die. Don't know about aokiji but I can see it happening. And I do think Luffy dies at the end of the story.
The rest of these where reasonsble but the way the Law theory is presented completely ignores everything his story was about.
The entire point of Dressrosa for Law to realize that all Corazon wanted was for him to be loved and to see the value in his own life rather then being blinded by hatred like his brother was. And the fact he planned to die against Doflamingo was something he needed to overcome as a charachter.
The immortality surgery isnt a Checkovs Gun it's the ultimate display of what it meant to be a member of the Donquixote family, where your entire reason for living is to sacrifice your life for the sake of Doflamingo's ambitions.
For law to throw away his life for the sake of someone else again would not only be spitting in the face of Corazons sacrifice. But as was made clear in the video the way death being something that should complete a persons life is a HUGE theme in one piece. So any of the good charachters taking on a surgery that makes them immortal completely spits in the face of that.
There is a reason Imu and maybe the gorosei are problably immortal as the ultimate bad guys in a story about inhereted wills
you're wrong, with Luffy his sacrifice wouldnt be for Luffy's ambitions, it'd be his sacrifice to the second best friend he ever had.
@@UltimateGamerCC Ok so aside from the points i already brought up. Even if you wanna argue for the fact Law should use the immortality surgery and aside from the fact Law is problably closer friends with his own crew. There could NOT be a worse charachter to use the immortality surgery on then Luffy.
The entire point of Luffy is that he has given everything to be strong enough that nobody he loves needs to sacrifice themselves to protect him ever again. I can't think of a more miserable ending for Luffy then after having achieved everything he ever wanted to achieve and being left with nowhere further to go, instead of dying with a smile on his face he just outlives everyone he cares about without anyone to pass along his will to as his era never ends.
Law throwing his life away for revenge like he planned would be spitting on Corazons will, but Law giving his life to help save others certainly wouldn't. Law's immortality surgery also doesn't necessarily have to be used to give a character immortality either, for all we know Law might be needed to reverse the immortality surgery on Imu to make him beatable. And yes, the immortality surgery is 100% a chekhov's gun, it's practically the definition of a chekhov's gun. There is zero reason to make such a huge deal of the "death" consequence of the immortality operation if it's not actually ever relevant to the story.
it's my belief that the surgery isnt the only hidden power of the fruit, that it can be used to bring someone back from the dead instead of granting immortality. also you claim that Luffy isnt really Law's friend, yet he persists in dealing with Luffy's antics that obviously annoys him to no end, you have to like someone a whole lot to put up with that kind of bullshit. lol@@memequern8087
@@MrMorj in fact law doesn't need to reverse anything. the surgery grants eternal youth but it does not mean that the person who received surgery cannot die. This person is immune to the passage of time, but can still be killed by other people
Ussop has yet to reach the giants level of bravery. Which is to be brave 24/7 (he's basically still a coward), not in a moment before he dies.
He once tried taking on Lucci at Enies Lobby, prepared to die (not the only time too). He's still a coward. Therefore, He has to LIVE as a brave warrior of the sea.
But his cowardice and bravery are always at odds with each other. Back in Enies, when Lucci was apparently finished with Luffy, Usopp egged the villain on because, in his heart of hearts, he believed (and knew) that Luffy would get back up and defeat Lucci. He told Luffy they would leave together once he defeated Lucci. Usopp relied on one of his best skills to get Luffy back up and running. So, it's all about believing in himself, and sometimes it's hard to keep that on 24/7. As one user said, it's really all about self-acceptance and knowing who he is (and he eventually will come around to doing so). Usopp has fantastic moments, he just can't recognize them for what they are when it matters.
I always thought Usopp goes home to Kaya and writes the story of his adventures and he names the story Usopp A Brave Warrior of the Sea and it becomes the new version of Nolan the liar. Maybe people still call it lie just for the joke that he’s a liar but he doesn’t care because he knows it’s the truth and he has kids and leave them too for the sea again. I also had the idea of him going on another adventure to help Nami draw the map of the new world after the red line is destroyed too and now he is the captain and Nami the first mate 😂 but their relationship is more of a sibling kind of thing
I think celebration at the end of final war will be as important even if usopp is to die during the war, because usopp fulfilling his dream of becoming a brave warrior of the seas, is far too important for strawhats that they have to celebrate usopp's life and fulfilment of his dream. The celebration should be for the victory and also celebrating usopp's life.
Luffy's wants to be strong so he won't lose any of his friends ever again. I think it would go completely in the wrong direction if any Strawhat dies.
Luffy does not own death, sometimes it happens does not matter how strong you are, totally would fit
Always a pleasure to watch your analysis! Keep up brother.
I’d argue Imu sama and Blackbeard need to die too, since there’s no scenario where they’re still alive and don’t try to destroy the world again, and I doubt you could just lock them up like Doffy or Crocodile.

Kuma is definitely dying after he gets that hit on Saturn. Shanks death makes sense but he’s definitely bringing someone down with him. Usopp probably won’t die just because he’s the OG straw hat crew, but I can see Law’s death seeing as he’s been very close to death multiple times, including when Doffy almost killed him, and him being a Will of D member he’s more likely to die.

@@Henry-jl1xt it would definitely be poetic, a flame that blazed bright, and burned fast. a man who spent the least time on the seas, yet left the biggest impact on the world.
if Usopp dies...I'm literally not reading anymore of this manga
lol imagine to be reading 20-25 years only to stop over that goofball.
@@UltimateGamerCC i love that goofball D:
The biggest evidence for Usopp dying is that his dream of being a great warrior of the sea is directly connected to the Elbaf warriors. We know Elbaf warriors are supposed to mirror vikings from real life, and vikings always wished to die while in battle in order to be an honorable warrior and go to Valhalla.
The biggest counter evidence is oda literally saying he wouldn't kill any of the crew due to the demographic
@@ClickHere4Naruto ain't most of his fans grown up already
Great video as always, I love Kuzans character and would hate to see him die but the points you brought up sadly make sense which makes me worried for Kuzans fate 😢
No. 1 - Morj.
Would Usopp dying and Law using his Immortality Surgery on him cheapen both their deaths or?
Usopp not only needs to die, he needs to be evaporated!
Every remaining Sanji fight please!!! Your insight is amazing
Usop cant die till the crew get to the island of the giants
Yeah, and Elbaf is most likely our next arc :)
Honestly there has to be some story before death for these major characters who have had little to no involvement
Luffy is probably going to go out similar to Roger and Kickstart yet another great pirate Era of dreams and freedom.
I think it’s more likely that Zoro will die than Ussop personally. Zoro is implied to be on borrowed time with that mink medicine, or at least that’s how I interpreted the whole grim reaper thing. I think it also fits thematically well with Zoro’s character being Luffy’s right hand man and him already showing the willingness to die for Luffy. I think it would round his character out well.
Ussop on the other hand is a character I feel like works better and is more satisfying if he can return to Kaya in Syrup village and tell her true stories of his adventures.
That makes sense maybe then we'd a little more insight into Zoro's past.
I don't think Zoro dying would be good at all because of Kuina and his whole narrative being set up to becoming the strongest swordsman in history
@@rockstar-made He could die after becoming the world’s strongest swordsman. I don’t see how that changes anything tbh
Usopp will have two glorious moments:
1.- Leading an army of 8000 strong in the final war.
2.- Dying making one last stand, all alone, against the enemy. Perhaps Imu himself or just a bunch of enemies from the WG's army.
I can see even the likes of Zoro shedding a tear out of respect and admiration for his bravery.
He's already made a stand against strong enemies such as Lucci, but he's still a coward. He has to live as a brave warrior, go back to syrup village brave.
Precisely. Deep down he's still a coward and he knows it. That's probably what for Oda, the readers and Usopp himself is missing. He of course has had moments of courage but they are always coupled with fear, cowardice, screams and so on.
His actual "Brave Warrior of the Sea" moment has to be something else entirely. @@sagecoder8802
Depending on what happens in the future, I would add one Kizaru basically for the same reasons as Aokiji plus friendship with enemies of the W.G.
Damn Morj is getting jacked.😮 We see your gains bro
Everytime I watch a morj video im like “nah he’s wrong about this” and then by the end of the video he has me convinced that it’s going to happen, I’m convinced usopp will die now
I was recently thinking how Luffy would return Shanks' hat. The only 2 options that make sense to me are: reverse of chapter 1 (or more like Nami situation in arlong park?) where Luffy'd put the hat on beaten up Shanks and finish whatever foe the latter couldn't take off. Another option is putting the hat on Shank's grave in the epilogue but I like it much less because it doesn't bring closure to Shanks' character. Imo Luffy will die at the end given how many hints Oda already dropped so there's not much room for this very important moment to occur...
God Usopp's death was a headcanon of mine for years
I really don't think Law's going to die, and I"m not just saying that because he's my favourite. The whole immortality surgery thing is interesting and I'm sure it will play a role later, but ultimately I don't think Law will go ahead with it. Corazon died to let Law live and Law's only just starting to understand that. The whole tragedy of his character up to the end of Dressrosa is that he's lived with the goal of dying, thinking that's what Corazon wanted of him: to kill Doflamingo and/or die trying. He's lived every day up until that point, training, working hard and making his mark on the world for the whole goal of taking out Doflamingo and envisioning that it was going to be inevitable for him to die for it to happen. It's only until Sengoku explains that Corazon loved him and died for Law because of that fact, not because he wanted to pass on a job or because Law was going to be indebted to him, that Law truly realises he's been living his life wrong. To have him die to let someone else live would completely negate that character story and go back on what One Piece is all about, which is dreams and finding your dream, and Law's true dream is not as sad and minor as just killing Doflamingo.
It's only now that Law has started to live purely to live and no longer sees death as his end goal. He now has the dream of discovering what the will of D is and that coincides with the mystery of the void centry. If he does die, it won't be as a sacrifice for someone else and it won't be doing the surgery, because immortality isn't something he would ever willingly grant anyone regardless. And if he does, it will be at the very end of the story, because he'll definitely have a role to play with finding the One Piece and Luffys final dream. But I still don't think he will.
He makes waaay too much money with merchandising for Shonen Jump to allow his death! Alone, he makes more than half of One Piece's annual merch sales, and sells higher than Sanji and sometimes Zoro. You really think they're going to let Oda kill him off when they can continue to put him in movies and spin-offs and special events after the series ends and rake in the cash? No way!
I can't imagine Shanks dying. He is the author's golden child.
Author's can still kill characters they really like, I mean Oda clearly loved Ace yet he killed him
I mean-- Dragon and/or Garp both seem incredibly likely. Maybe more likely than Shanks since Shanks and Buggy swore to get to Laughtale together.
I highly doubt that Nico Robin will die in the story.
Keep writing your own one piece
Hey Morj, if the raid did fail in Wano, where do you think the series would be rn?
in regards to kuzan, i could possibly see his reasoning for teaming up with blackbeard being that he intends to help him overthrow the world government. in which case, he may end up turning on blackbeard after theyve taken out imu.
Morj do I see that healthy Factor nutrition label saying 100% of your daily fat and 68% cholesterol 😭
usopp already left the team for once, i think it's a hint.
0:58 the issue with the ace example is that this desire was revealed in the arc that killed him.
4:42 What? Ace dying is reason why the second half of the story exists. Without Ace we don't get Marineford, we don't get the time skip, there's no Dressrosa because Doflamingo doesn't get the fruit, Sabo wouldn't get his memories back, and Luffy doesn't get strong as a result of losing Ace and pushing hard for two years to avoid a repeat situation.
Aukiji simply just wants to see Robin get to the one piece .....he probably is working with the blackbeard pirates so that he can encounter the straw hats at some time
Morj has started creating another religion around the death of Usopp hahahahaha
I know Usopp is an easy choice but he better not die.
More islands should fall, and major characters should meet their end.
If Cobra, Lulusia and Kuma are just the beginning, as the result of the WG acts of desperation, we are in for one hell of a ride.
This video made me think what if Usopp almost dies but is saved by Law's immortality surgery at the last second. Usopp could then live to tell the tale that he came back from the brink of death to win a duel in the final battle. Furthermore, it could be fitting for this to happen in a fight against Van Auger. Law could initially use his devil fruit abilities to allow Usopp to teleport around, effectively matching Van Auger's teleportation fruit, but then after Law dies, Usopp has to finish the fight off on his own without any support for the final bout.
If usopp dies, i doubt it'll be impactful for the audience. People have already expressed how they dont like usopp since hes either written out of most arcs (wano) or hes written unlikable (contrasting nami against ulti and running away too much). I just hope it'll land like ace or WB but idk if its possible this late into OP.
Yeah. Dude's just not powerful enough to die doing something useful without heavy contrivence.
Like, If Zoro or Sanji sacrificed themselves, they'd be able to last and cause a lot of damage.
But if Usopp just get one shot by a top tier, he'll give the crew a couple seconds.
And even someone who can easily kill ussop, should realistically be one shottable by Luffy who's actually trying.
Plot twist Usopp dies a brave death and lives on as Sogeking spreading the tales of Usopp the Brave
Shanks is oda's favourite character and he already cleared it out that he doesn't give a shit about what fans think , he will do whatever he wants
Kuma's death is imminent and I don't think I'm ready yet. It's gonna hurt.
I damn almost fell out my chair hearing “Usopp”
Shanks clearly said that he's after the one piece
Usopp can end his arc just by being willing to die for the success of a greater cause. He doesn't really need to die as long as he faces death boldly. The moment would be even more powerful if Luffy, refusing to let his friend die, saves Usopp at the last moment.
I wouldn’t be surprised if we get a Brook grabbing the soul and asking “are you sure you want to leave like that?”
i hate myself for liking these characters so much to the point just hearing a theory about they may die is making me cry especially for Usopp and Law🥲
Shanks is too obvious a death for Oda to not subvert it, the passing of the torch can be done with Luffy succeeding in defeating Blackbeard and saving Shanks unlike what happened with Ace
This is still one piece, so there's always a chance they will miraculously survive anyway.
I’m praying so hard you’re wrong about Usopp, I don’t wanna be devastated for a month
I've heard speculation of all these characters possibly dying except for Akoiji, but there's also a case to make for Luffy possibly dying. Luffy isn't afraid to die plus there's all the gear transformations that are shaving years off of his lifespan, plus that one time Ivankov took 10 years of Luffy's life in Impel Down
Usopp gets observation haki and he sees his own death yet he gives up his life like a brave warrior fulfilling his destiny.
Morj: Puts Usopp in thumbnail
Me: DON'T EVEN
