  • Arbi Masala
    Ingredients Quantity
    Colocassia (arbi) boiled and peeled 250 gm.
    Ajwain ½ tsp
    Ginger chopped 1 tbsp
    Garlic chopped 1 tbsp
    Green chillies chopped 2-3 no.
    Onions chopped 2 no.
    Tomatoes chopped 3 no.
    Salt to taste
    Coriander powder 1½ tbsp
    Red chilli powder 1½ tsp
    Turmeric powder ½ tsp
    Garam masala powder 1 tsp
    Dry mango powder (amchur) 1½ tsp
    Water ¼ cup
    Coriander leaves chopped 2 tbsp
    Oil 2 tbsp
    Method:
    1. Heat oil in a pan; add ajwain and sauté for 30 sec.
    2. Add chopped ginger, garlic and green chillies, mix well and sauté for 1 min.
    3. Add chopped onion, mix well and sauté for 3-4 min.
    4. Mean while cut the arbi in small pieces and keep it aside.
    5. Add chopped tomatoes and salt into the pan and mix well.
    6. Add coriander powder, red chilli powder, turmeric powder, garam masala powder and amchur powder, mix well and sauté for 4-5 min.
    7. Add boiled arbi, mix well and sauté for 1 min.
    8. Add water and mix well and sauté for another 1 min.
    9. Add coriander chopped and mix well.
    10. Remove in serving plate, garnish with coriander leaves and serve hot.
