This video is so fun and engaging! I loved how you showcased the actors and actresses in their youth-it really brings back memories. Keep up the great work!
Great quiz! Very enjoyable. I only missed a few because I’m a Baby Boomer and these are the stars I grew up with. It was especially cool seeing Yul Brynner with hair👍🏾
Same score, 5/25. I recognized most of them after their names appeared, but a few I never would’ve known. Yul Brynner had a handsome Trans-Siberian face, to be sure. Wow!
I think he was the most handsome when he was older, not that 65 is old by any means. I didn't recognize him with hair but the thing that struck me was he was almost a dead ringer for Johney Depp-the cheekbones and mouth. Didn't realize he was Russian, but now I can totally see he had very Russian features.
8 out of 25 for me and those eight were pretty much instantly recognizable. So many of the photos were from their youth and I was clueless to who it was
I didn’t do that well. Old as I am, too many were before my time. I couldn’t miss Burt Lancaster, though. I didn’t even get Rock Hudson, to me the most gorgeous man who’s even lived.
I got one 🙄 there were a few I recognized by face but didn't get the name connection in time, very difficult, for me anyways, and it's pretty amazing how much we humans can change over a lifetime.
Right! I would've never guess Shelly Winters. I knew Myrna Loy, Joan Collins and Maureen O'Hara. The other woman I didn't recognize. My other guesses is were the men.
I’m 73, so I’m a boomer. But I didn’t know these actors during their early years (e.g., Lillian Gish), so I missed a lot of them. But it was a lot of fun trying to guess. Thanks. Bring us more if you can 😊.
@@shenitagazaway2370Joan Collins I knew because I’ve seen many images of her when she was young. I’m Gen x and many are before my time. Richard Burton is very recognisable.
@@shenitagazaway2370 I didn't know Myrna Loy and I was waiting for Lillian Gish to appear - I was just waiting for a woman who was from the silent movie era, but I wouldn't have been able to pick her out! 😁
I am male 85 years old in the UK I got many of these actors I remembered going to the picture houses as we say in the UK in the 40s onwards happy days could we have more of this please many thanks for the memory's take care
Wow! These were before my time, and I'm 75! I remeber a lot of them from when I was a kid and a teenager, but my parents could have named everyone. The thing that got me is so many of them died even younger than me. The ones that make it past the 27 club now seem to live more into their 90's. The women were still pretty for the most part when they got old, cuz they didn't destroy their faces with bad face lifts and fish lips.
I recognized about 12 but only could remember the name of Yul Brynner (he was easy). But these are very old. Several were born prior to the 20th century.
Sorry, I only got one, but I still loved this video. It was amazing to see some of the women from long ago and admire their beauty and some of the men improved with age.
This is some of the best elevator music I've ever heard! As for these famous faces...who are these people? I recognized Orson Wells, Henry Fonda and Hedy Lamar, but only because she contributed to physis and radio communications. But otherwise, uh...who? Okay Joan Collins still has some name recognition but that's stretching it.
I got 5 right out of 25. I used to see many of the actors and actresses in the movies as I was growing up but they changed so much from child to adult.
She's one of the ones I didn't get. I got 11 right. I used to watch old movies myself but I only seen about two with Shelly Winters. I still watch nothing but old movies.
@shenitagazaway2370 Congrats !! I too love old movies. Many of them before I was born or when I was growing up. Except musicals !!! The only ones of those I REALLY enjoy are--"A HARD DAYS NIGHT, HELP, MAGICAL MYSTERY TOUR, and LET IT BE " . Of course there's many from 70's thru the last decade that I liked 👍. Tonight, I'm watching " The Medusa Touch " , from 1978 . GOD bless and enjoy your next pick !
This was difficult. It's so sad to see that a lot of them died so young. I am 69, and for some reason, it shocked me that I have lived longer than some. 😮
I got about half of the men, no women. This game actually makes me sad. How the body ages and becomes unrecognizable, in many cases, is heartbreaking. We are just like old, broken down jalopies.
These I knew: Peter Fonda, Spencer Tracy, thought Deborah Kerr was a male! I recognise others but couldn’t remember some of their names. Burt Lancaster. Joan Collins. Peter O’Toole. William Holden. Tony Curtis. Ginger Rogers. Fred Astaire. Shelley Winters. Yul Brynner
I like this! I knew the faces of many but couldn’t remember the names of some! ☮️🖖🏽
They were very hard! It's amazing how some people are instantly recognizable while others just aren't!
Five seconds for as far back as we were going and in b&w? Definitely the most challenging of them all.
Yes , very hard .
But good fun.
Thought I'd do well. Failing %. Got maybe 5-6. But thanks for the easy gimme at the very end.
Loved the video! These are the examples of how people can age with grace.

Great quiz! Very enjoyable. I only missed a few because I’m a Baby Boomer and these are the stars I grew up with. It was especially cool seeing Yul Brynner with hair👍🏾
This is fun. I didn't know I wanted to see pictures of Jane Russell when she was 15
5/25. A pathetic showing for a 75-year old who loves movies. Great video, keep ‘em coming!!
I entirely agree ... but I was equally (?) pathetic 😅
@@WeeWyllie- Snap, so was I. However, they were hard if you had not also seen photos of them in their youth.
(I am 66, and not an avid film watcher).
Same score, 5/25. I recognized most of them after their names appeared, but a few I never would’ve known. Yul Brynner had a handsome Trans-Siberian face, to be sure. Wow!
I missed 2--but not only am I older(60s), the tv station around here shows lots of old movies. I really enjoyed seeing Lillian Gish!!!
I didn't get many, but I was surprised to see how many were from the Midwest.
So strange to see Yul Brynner with hair. Very handsome man
Was thinking the same thing. Good actor too.
He played some roles with hair, including his first picture.
I recognized him immediately, even with hair.
He was a very handsome man without hair.
I think he was the most handsome when he was older, not that 65 is old by any means. I got 21 right, guessed all the men. Women are a little more difficult, lots of cosmetic changes. Great quiz though!
8 out of 25 for me and those eight were pretty much instantly recognizable. So many of the photos were from their youth and I was clueless to who it was
Simply thank you for all these memories and wish you a Happy New Year
17/25. The oldest ones were very hard! and Rock Hudson?! Wow
20/25. Some of the older shots were tough. Better quiz.👍
I got Yul, but that's only because his face is so distinctive. These actors & actresses were before my time. I didn't even know some of them.
No, of course not. Way before my time. 1953.
Of course, I recognize them when they show their name.
Excellent video. Thank you for sharing this video.
It is also amazing what aging does to us. Even the most physically handsome and beautiful.
Kind of sad as i'm entering that time myself!l
17 correct - a lot of the women were from the early era of cinema and hard for me to tell apart when they were young! 😊
Right! I would've never guess Shelly Winters. I knew Myrna Loy, Joan Collins and Maureen O'Hara. The other woman I didn't recognize. My other guesses is were the men.

Got about half. Gena Rowlands, Peter O'Toole, Fred Austerlitz (Astaire) i never would have guessed. Surprised i missed Jayne Russell.
I got a whole five right, ha ha ha!
I am male 85 years old in the UK I got many of these actors I remembered going to the picture houses as we say in the UK in the 40s onwards happy days could we have more of this please many thanks for the memory's take care
That was fun. 3 people i didnt guess correctly. Good challenges for us older people. Thanks
"Young" Burt Lancaster looked about 30 easily.
No challenge at all.
Nickname 'Muscles and Teeth'.
same with Shelley Winters
Well, I did really well.
I got Three correct, considering, I never even heard of most of them.
Wow! These were before my time, and I'm 75! I remeber a lot of them from when I was a kid and a teenager, but my parents could have named everyone. Lots of Midwestern 's...from Fred Astaire's home town!
Tony Curtis, joan collins and Yul Brenner
Another magnificent two🤣
Tony Curtis and Yul Brynner
Got 7 out of 25... There were 3 that I couldn't remember their names but remembered their faces....
......I thought, for sure, Yul Brynner was Putin
I got 3 right, I’m not that old, only 78, my mom would have known more
I didn´t score well, most of them had their heydays when I wasn´t even born, but it´s fun to see the heroes and heroines of early cinema.
I recognized about 12 but only could remember the name of Yul Brynner (he was easy). But these are very old. Several were born prior to the 20th century.
Fred Astaire was Always a sharp dresser
Very few people under 70 years old would recognize even half of these actors.
I agree. Most of these Actors died when the Demographic was still a Bad Idea 😝😊
I got only 2. Tony Curtis and Yul Brynner. To be fair, these are stars from the 50’s and earlier.
Got them all
Those young photos of Rock Hudson and Fred Astaire are a little too young, but most of these pics were recognizable ❤.
Both of them took me some time, but I recocognized them with their eyes.
William Holden's young picture looks amazingly like Patrick Mahomes, and Hedy Lamarr like Jennifer Lawrence
Damn , missed that Jlaw thing first time.
Sorry, I only got one, but I still loved this video. It was amazing to see some of the women from long ago and admire their beauty and some of the men improved with age.
I'm 57 and I got two. I imagine if I was 87 I'd have gotten a lot more. Names were all ones I knew, though.
It's interesting that the men seemed to change slightly less than the ladies.
Knew most. But thought Hedy Lamarr was Norma Shearer. Did not recognize Myrna Loy at all! Excellent compilation! 👍🏼
Funny how many iconic actors were from the upper Midwest USA, particularly Wisconsin and northern Illinois...
It's a lot easier for me to identify the men
Got 24 almost
Got every single one! 100%. I’ve outlived a whole lot of them!
Orson Wells was , Orson Wells 😂
Got 1...Orson Welles
Got about a dozen correct. These actors generally were long lived compared to average population, many in their nineties
Yul's youger picture looks like "Crazy Joe" Gallo of New York! 😱😏😎
I looked Crazy Joe up, and you are correct. The black and white newspaper pic of him looked like he and Yul could be brothers!
@FightingForFacts7074
😂🤣 Right?
OMG l only got 3 … u did a great job
I got 5 1/2 out of all
Die Hälfte kannte ich gar nicht, und die anderen waren schwer zu erkennen. Hat Spaß gemacht.
Didn’t even know most of them in the 2nd picture
I wouldn't have guessed Spencer Tracy in a million years. Nor Fred Astaire. Fred was so cute when he was little.
8 out of 25.....😅😂❤ vety interesting.
Got most of them ! Only three i did"nt get ! Such dramatic changes in their looks over the many years !
I missed 5. Quiz was lots of fun.😊
I know the faces but at my age I can't remember the names.😮
I got all but 4. I wouldn’t have guessed Peter Otoole in a million years,,,lol😊
25/25 Fun! Lifelong Movie fan - Thank you.
I did very poorly in this test. Good video !

Got 7 out of 25. Some were easy to spot - Orson Welles, James Cagney, Claudette Colbert. Others looked absolutely nothing like their older selves.
8 out of 25 😮
Bit of cosmetic surgery on some
04:34 These eyes of Joan Collins look nearly unnatural.
Yul Brynner looked kind of like Vlad Putin.
Naw, Bruner is better looking!
Got 15 out 25
Got most men right and a out half of the women. Thank you.
I think I got 5 - a lot of "I know that face", but couldn't bring a name to it.
I got 5 right out of 25. I used to see many of the actors and actresses in the movies as I was growing up but they changed so much from child to adult.
Got 2 -- Orson Wells and Shelley Winters. 😮
The actress in the thumbnail staring
Right into your soul.😂
Youl brinner looked like putin when young
Dang! I wasn’t born til late 70’s so that was way hard. Got Burt Lancaster right and that was it.
I did not do well on this! Maybe 7-8
I guessed 10 correctly. Would have got a few more if given a few more seconds.
JOAN COLLINS,SUPER BEAUTY..😊😊😊😊😊😊😊😊😊😊😊😊😊😊😊😊😊😊😊😊😊😊😊😊
I missed Peter O'Toole and Fred Astair. The rest were easy, as I've seen them so often, while watching 👀 Turner Classic Movies (TCM).
Funny thing with Peter O'Toole: when i did see the "young" picture, i thought: oh, Patrick Wilson
Rock Hudson was unrecognizable
I got 19 correct.
Omg, just got 4!
I guessed 2. Burt Lancaster .
I got 10 by name and one,Shelly Winters , I knew from movies, especially her swim scenes in Posidon ,but couldn't fet her name!!
She's one of the ones I didn't get. I got 11 right. I used to watch old movies myself but I only seen about two with Shelly Winters. I still watch nothing but old movies.
