Tedhi Tedhi Hum Se Phire Saari Duniyaa - Musafir, 1957

The 1957 film Musafir is special in many ways. It is the debut movie for Hrishikesh Mukherjee as a director. It is also the debut Hindi movie for Keshto Moukherjee. Prior to this Keshto had worked in some Bengali movies; this is his first Hindi movie. Also, songwriter Shailendra makes one of his rare on screen appearances; in this song he is the male singer in the performing trio, carrying the harmonium.

बिमल रॉय की चुनिंदा अमर फिल्मों में से मुसाफिर (1957) ऐसी फिल्म थी जिसे अपने जमाने में Awards: Certificate of Merit for Third Best Feature Film in Hindi दिया गया था।
हरिकेश मुखर्जी के अद्भुत निर्देशन की यह जीती जागती मिसाल थी।
यदि आपको फिल्मों का शौक नहीं भी हो तो भी आपको ये फिल्म ( जिसमें तीन अलग-अलग कहानियां हैं इसी मकान के अलग-अलग किराएदारों की ) जरूर देख लेनी चाहिए।
अगर आपने इसे नहीं देखा तो बहुत कुछ नहीं देखा !
आप शायद इसे देखकर कभी भूल भी नहीं पाएंगे।
फिल्म के दूसरे हिस्से के मुख्य कलाकार हैं किशोर दा, निरूपा रॉय, नाजिर हुसैन इत्यादि हैं और इसी भाग में ये अद्भुत गीत भी है।
फिल्म के तीनों भागों में जो कलाकार रहे हैं उनमें मकान मालिक डेविड अब्राहम, मोटी पड़ोसिन राज लक्ष्मी देवी, छोटी लड़की बेबी नाज, चाय वाला नौकर मोहन चोटी, डेजी ईरानी वगैरह ।
फिल्म मुसाफिर (1957) के दूसरे हिस्से में ये खास, हैरतंगेज गाना आप देखना, पहचानना मत भूलिएगा!
जिसमें टेढ़ा आदमी बने हैं केस्टो मुखर्जी (जो शराबी के रोलों से ज्यादातर फिल्मों में! मशहूर, जाने जाते रहे हैं!)

जिसमें किशोर दा, निरूपा रॉय के सामने गीतकार शैलेन्द्र जी गले में हारमोनियम लटकाए बजाते खूबसूरती से अभिनय कौशल से परफॉर्मेन्स दे रहे हैं!
और अभिनेत्री हीरा सावंत का इस गीत पर अभिनय, भाव भंगिमाएं और नृत्य कौशल, प्रस्तुति वाकई हैरतंगेज व देखने लायक है।
