- Konami sent me an early Structure Deck: The Crimson King to open! It features new support for Resonators and Red Dragon Archfiend and in today's video we're taking a look at every card in the box!

@@SakuraAvalon I think at this point of the anime he abandoned his "King" persona and decided to carve his path as Jack Atlas, the human, so I can see what Konami maybe tried to do here.

EDIT: For those who don’t remember, it was during the Turbo/Riding Duel between Jack and Carly, specifically after she is taken over by the King of the Underworld mid-duel.

Wow, this is a really good structure for character decks. Buy 3 and you have damn near close to a perfect Red Dragon Archfiend deck.
What cards are missing?
@@benl2662 I'm pretty partial to putting Skull Meister in my Red Dragon deck and Void Ogre is a good extra deck card to add.

@benl2662 Skull meister negates grave effects, and Void Ogre Dragon looks cool. Also he negates a spell or trap effect once per turn if you have no cards in hand. Just little things I enjoy.

I am a big fan of extra deck reprints. You can essentially buy 3 of this and dis Pater and obsessive Uvualoop and you got a good core. Add in some staples and you got yourself a pretty cool rogue deck.
Honestly an insane structure deck, especially considering that they give you every single boss monster from the archetype.
First time they do that. Maybe to create more apeal for the deck.
If you have both Crimson and Soul in your starting hand, you actually don't need to solely rely on Red Rising for your combo anymore as you can go straight into Scarred Dragon Archfiend and use Crimson's effect and continue there
The structure deck is pretty solid and the reprints of all the Red Dragon Archfiends is so cool.
Im pretty sure the jack art in the box is his duel links art, which ia very funny, they didnt even bother to make new art lmao. Cool structure regardless and i might pick it up.

Holy shit, this product looks amazing!!!! I was planning to purchase the separate pieces and to build a Red Dragon deck back in the day, but never got to iy and now they are giving me all the cards in one package. So excited, might even get back to Yu-Gi-Oh! for this.
The OCG version of the structure has a random starlight in there. It's sad that they didn't keep it in there for international releases. I think that just hurts sells especially since red dragon is a fan favorite. All-and-all I'm still going to pick up this structure for the collection.
This structure deck is crazy good with its staples and how it just gives you a Kong calamity and super nova 🤯

Why is Scarred a Super but RDA Ultra?
Most of the new cards are common.
Red Rising is an awesome foil reprint but Calamity & Supernova didnt need to be foil :(

Bone Archfiend is like a modern uni zombie. Free special summon basically and a free foolish for level modulation is really good (I think)
Most importantly we can stop coping with maining Witch of the Black Forest

Red Dragon Archfiend is my favorite synchro deck, so seeing this opening is a little tempting.
For $30ish it’s a decent deal for a whole deck with some sub engines like the assault mode and partial danger engine
The fact that they included thz assault mode engine convinced me to build the deck i would only need to buy the punk engine and E Tele for it to be more on the competitive side of things (nothing crazy but still) amazing structure deck
Rda doesnt need the punk engine.3 etele and 1 one for one and you're good
I'll likely pick this up since I'm a Jack Atlas fan. I remember back when I played Master Duel, Red Supernova Dragon was a very fun field nuke and in Duel Links I still get people trying to use card effects to destroy Red Nova Dragon and surrendering once they read the card's effect.
Well, that lv 12 will stay in the game for a bit. If the banlist comes before the structure then king calamity will stay in the game until a banlist between dec-feb.

It'd be a great move on Konami's part if new structure decks came with a code to redeem in master duel to give you the structure deck in-game or something, even if the unreleased cards were substituted out. It'd definitely motivate me to buy structure decks

I'm looking forward to this structure deck once this is released I'm buying 3 and updating my RDA deck with new cards comes new possibilities and I absolutely love the look of the artwork for Scarred RDA. Now we need a new structure deck for Stardust Dragon

I am a bit sad that Scarred Dragon Archfiend is a Super and not an Ultra or Secret like the OCG. TCG will be TCG I guess, always switching rarities. I am happy to see Everyone’s King in there tho, well I’m excited for the whole SD. This year has been great for us 5Ds fans. Now we just need that Junk Warrior Alternate art in the TCG to end this year that celebrated 5Ds Anniversary.
i will never get why people like the higher rarities.
I find super to be about the highest rarity i like to look at, ultras are "fine" but secrets just absolutly look horrendous to me
Scarred Dragon Archfiend being a Super instead of an Ultra (like its OCG counterpart) rubbed me the wrong way, that's my one negative regarding this product.
This thing looks sweet but I think it's a pass for me. No real staples and I'd rather buy singles and build something different. Still a cool product though. Keep these coming Konami. All hail the king!
I haven’t bought actual cards in a long time, but is there a similar structure deck for yusei? I definitely think I’m gonna pick this up for nostalgia purposes

I'd love to see a Chazz themed Armed Dragon structure deck, or an Aster themed Destiny Hero structure deck.
Built almost this exact deck for EDOPro. It swung against the meta with a rather decent win-rate fighting Tearlament, Spright, and others.
I can’t wait for this to be released because I love Jack’s deck but when’s the release date?

Other than the new support cards, I think the highlight of this is FINALLY getting Red Rising Dragon at a higher rarity than common! (Now can they do this for crimson res. please? lol)
I think I’m gonna build an unchained variant that incorporates some of this support. Specifically the tenki plus the new searcher. Play the tenki search the searcher. Summon searcher add aruha. Aruha pop the tenki if you have no other unchained S/T and go into the new link 2

Why is Scarred Dragon Archfiend only super rare? Bone archfiend, crimson gaia and red zone should have been holos too imo

Honestly Konami has been crushing the structure deck game the past few years. Like with the exception of the charmers deck (cuz really what were they supposed to do) all the structures have been great! Even ice barrier is now at the very least playable.

Man, I'm so glad they reprinted Pot Of Extravagance as a common, I don't think it was ever reprinted in this way before, especially not out of a structure deck! Definitely not!

@@forestshadow0918 I tried to make it as obvious as I possibly could, and yet someone STILL couldn't understand the sarcasm.
At least people can get a copy if they don't have one. Pot of cards and other staples should be printed a couple of times a year in SD's, so new players can duel with better cards.
