Love the colour scheme in the kitchen. Also, spray paint is my best friend! I paint everything I need changed, as well. I wish more decorators were more into reusing, recycling and renewing.

I'm late to the party but I just found your channel and OF COURSE I subscribed! Your kitchen is beautiful. My husband and I renovated ours during the pandemic. When you have a budget it is obvious that you can get beautiful results. What is more intrigiung is that you have an equally beautiful kitchen as someone who spent 20K and your kitchen has character and personality. Enjoy it!

Your kitchen looks so elegant in gold and black! Change one thing, and now something else doesn't look right - been there done that. You kept going until it was right! Everything you use makes for such pretty displays. I too purchase dish towels at estate sales. (and decorative paper or cloth napkins). I found a beautiful, unused Xmas towel that I only put out around the holidays. Looks good in the powder room instead of the kitchen and gets lighter use there.

Really beautiful thrifted and repurposed room. I have black granite counters and back splash (they were someone else’s choice) and I don’t like them as I cannot see where there are spills (messy young adults). Your kitchen looks great with the black and white and wood and unique pieces. The art work is beautiful and goes so well. Onto your plant caddy and propagation cups….just gorgeousness.

Thank you so much! Yes, they are made. I couldn't find anything I like in the stores or online and found the fabic at a fabric warehouse and bought it (not thinking it would be for the kitchen) but because I loved the pattern.. and voila - they were perfect for the kitchen.. glad i got it.

Now I love the towel idea!!! I don’t care for paper towels either, feels like a waste and growing up we didn’t use them at all.
That's wonderful to hear.. they are truly a waste.. those and paper plates (unless entertaining outside.. I don't understand daily use of them when you can't cook in paper.. dishes need to be washed. Right? Lol
