Hilarious! I just checked the price of this online. It's over $400 today (2021) and the instructions are about on par with a piece of flatpack furniture. THanks
Imma gonna need one of those. But I may build something similar with high quality drawer guides instead of popping for the Mac or LMI versions. do you know if the Porter Cable lam trimmer will fit the base bracket supplied with the Mac unit?
There are instructions on how to fit other routers to the mounting plate if yours don't line up. www.stewmac.com/How-To/Online_Resources/Jigs_and_Fixtures/TrueChannel_Routing_JigI2.html
Call me a dummy (that would be mostly true)... I see the setup, but I don't see how this will be used to rout a binding niche. Is there a followup to this? I couldn't find it on your site.
There isn't as we're trying to finish renovating our new house, after that I will get back into the shop. Check out the Stew Mac channel and you will see the device in action. Thanks for stopping by.

Glad you made this vid--I just got one of these on ebay and you saved me a lot of grief figuring out how to set it up. Thanks.
I'm glad my struggle is helpful to you...LOL!
gotta love instructions lol nothing better than new tewls! :D
I hate having to interpret instructions. I paid good money to have all the thinking done for me...LOL!
do you feel that 24"x36" base is to big and could be smaller?

I JUST BUILT ONE FOR THE 335 BUILD. Work comp on caps all the time. I made my PC trim router work after only one wrong turn.
