I was easily persuaded by your Bushman proposal, especially if your creation could later be converted to a Sport if desired and if parts become available. I'll look forward to following your project no matter how infrequently you're able to add an episode. Please keep 'em coming!
    All the best.

Thanks Keith, I think the pretend Bushman looks the most likely at the moment. Once again, thank you watching. Keep safe!

Hi Mark, just found your channel. I recently bought a Bushman, not sure if it is a genuine Bushman., as it does not have either engine or frame numbers. It is in correct orange/creamish colours & has a high mounted exhaust. It needs fully refurbing & I've just stripped it down to bare frame. I shall watch & enjoy watching your journey with your bike, & no doubt pick up a lot of good tips from you. Paul Lucas.

Sounds great Paul. Hope it all goes smoothly. I love the BSA orange / cream colour scheme I painted my Firebird in those colours, they really stand out. Thanks very much for watching!

The bushman was used a lot here in AUS on properties rounding up sheep etc in the 50's. I have been dragging a D7 around for 45 years now & it's about time to do up. Problem is parts here in Australia. Would be great to list suppliers over there so I can start to see if this is viable .Any help appreciated. Good luck with your project. A bushman would be very appropriate here.

Hi Adrian and greetings to all in AUS......my Great Aunt used to have a farm outside Perth. To check out parts have a look on the Dragonfly website, they have most stuff and on line parts books which helps a lot. I am sure they ship worldwide. There may be another D7 based factory off roader making an appearance on the channel so keep calling back and having a look and thanks for watching!

Hi Steve, I am looking forward to the Bantam build but it does need a lot of work. Keep plugging away at the Dyane, have an enjoyable festive period and keep safe!

    Hi ,
I also watch Michael Waller, another youtuber who builds many BSA trail bikes. He might be able to help you locate parts. He lives in USA. He seems to have a great store of older parts for BSA bikes and has many resources. Hope this isnt useless info and is off some help. He is also a yorkshire man .
All the best for 2021 and have a Merry Christmas.

Hi Alan, I also watch Michael's channel and really enjoy his rebuilds. The only problem I have found with getting bits from the USA for my Harley ( elsewhere on the channel ) is the postal cost plus import duties more than doubles the original price which really hits the wallet. I am going to try and keep the bantam build low budget as the finished bike will not be worth a lot. Thanks for watching and taking the time to help, all the very best to you too, enjoy the festive season and keep safe !

Yep, could be a problem this one, maybe I have bitten off more than I can chew! Oh well, in for a penny as they say. Thanks again for watching Micheal!

Sounds like a good plan. Bantams are undesirable and cheap. Don't do anything that can't be reversed. I'm going to enjoy this project. Bantams or scooters, that was the choice when I was 16... I always thought scooters were a bit wussy...

I started off in the FS1E era and a guy at my school had a D14/4 which sadly for him was no quicker than any of the sports mopeds, so I was not impressed. Now they seem to have a strange appeal. Maybe I will get over it when the build continues!
