The racing kit works that way because it probably occupies the "is_armored" attribute slot on the vehicle, so installing the racing kit changes that value to 1, while the other options change it to 2 and 3 respectively. Most likely the explosive resistance only checks if the "is_armored" attribute is 1, because most other vehicles either have armor or not. Rockstar's dev team really is a bunch of underpaid chimps lol

they still have it, just look at red dead 2. they just dont put as much effort in the online updates for some reason, maybe different people work on the online stuff.
@@AmaryIIion Uuh buddy... After Red Dead 2 the former founder left. The takeover by TakeTwo started taking place and from there on Rockstar lost a lot of old timers. People with 25+ years in the company leaving like rats in a sinking ship.

@@Kyugornegular armor upgrades for every other vehicle are 50k. Most vehicles it only adds armor from collision and prevents explosions from landing on the roof, not overall explosion resistance. It would make this the cheapest vehicle to put armor on in the entire game if it was intentional.
The vapid guardian also has the same issue with the license plate where it doesn’t even appear up in the menu and you can’t even customize it on the plate website
Guardian is a great vehicle, I can drive in deep water which is really cool. You can actually drown in it without disabling the truck which is fun to play around with. No plate customization is a slight bummer.
At this point the amount of issues this dlc has is hilarious and rudiculous.
Remember the Sasquatch and the Sterling being completely bulletproof for entire dlcs? And the unarmored Kuruma as well?

Suprised its not mentioned but the spare wheel is bugged too. Missing textures when looking at it through the rear window.
It can also do the slamtruck bed thing, with the spare wheel.
scroll rapidly through the spare wheel options till you select the "stock spare wheel", and now you'll have a floating logo and the spare wheel holder.. but no spare wheel.
There are several vehicle with no plate options, the only way was through ifruit

How can one update be so absolutely unforgivingly cursed in so many ways? They must have done an 80/20 split on the amount of manpower that went to removing content vs adding content
Pro tip: if someone keeps bothering you with an imani tech car, rc or not, place 5 stickies on the ground beneath your feet like a sweaty barcode, and for a sixth sticky bomb explosion hold one more in your hand. Detonate right before being run over by your enemy and they will receive 6 explosions to the face.
Then they can just shoot your sticky bombs from far away

The Zhaba also didn't have a plate option despite having a plate, I believe.
Turns out i didn't get a glitch, it actually adds armor XD i don't know if you ended up seeing my comment, but i had tested it again after you said it had no armor. This thing is a freemode defensive beast imo, one of the safest vehicles to travel

I'm really hoping this is because all of their senior programmers are working on GTA 6 and they have a bunch of interns doing the DLC coding for GTA 5
You can't lock onto this vehicle with homing rockets and it's really fast so I'll take my chances with the drive by weapons rather than more armor. I have plenty of other vehicles if I need armor.

I just noticed that I didn't have those snorkel upgrades available when I modded this car...
I play on PC and I modded it in the arena workshop
Even the vapid guardian does not have custom plates option
Nor the Duke O'Death
the Rat-Truck and the Rat-Loader does neither have plate options

Atleast the Rat Loader, from what I can see, can have a new custom plate applied to it via the new license plate site. The Duke O'Death does not appear in the list at all despite being used recently...
Not sure about the other outliers, gonna have to test it out for ourselves.
the replies drop 3 more vehicles without a plate option meanwhile the Drauger has the option despite having no license plate at all
edit: i think it only has the option because i put a custom plate from the website on it. maybe try that with these vehicles?
In my opinion this vehicle is underrated I've only used it once myself but now knowing it dose have some Imani Tec I'll use it more often
It is really good it is just one of then vehciles that just feels right...and it's very quick and fun to drive
@@Jesse5111 tbh it is fun but the lack of armour ect was my main issue with it but now learning it's got some I'll use it more often on runs and stuff normally just use the jet tbh that way come across the oppressor I can dodge it's spam

How does direct hit damage from a kosaka guided missile compare to an RPG and AA Flak Cannon?
The guided missile (1000) is two times as strong as the RPG (500) in the blast radius. The Flak cannon is six times as strong as the RPG (3000)

No. Rockstar recently changed it to where previous gen characters aren't lost after transferring.
Why now though I lost my mine off xbox one then they do the job properly 2 years later or so 😂

Are the exotic vehicles broken? The ones you deliver to the docks. Not seen ANY spawn since the update. Checked the airfreight cargo in the hide map blip options and its no longer there?
Looking in the wrong place or have they removed it which has killed the exotic cars?
Exotic cars still pop up for me all the time, the little blue dots on the minimap? $20k to deliver to docks? Sold one yesterday

ISTG if they actually add armor plating option but it still removes driveby weapons imma be mad. I also hope they dont change their mind about the window plates removing driveby weapons too…

Me and my friend tested the glitch but he could only take 6 missiles, 1 rpg rocket, 2 sticky bombs and 5 railgun shots...did we miss something ?
(With full armor + racing kit ofc)
I tried this and it takes only 6 homing missiles to be exploded
or 2 RNGs ,its patched. Use the Penaud

It's funny because they done something similar in the past somehow , remember the regular kuruma being armoured with just by putting a livery ?
How do they manage to create these bugs , they have been so many in this update. Maybe their solution is to remove a couple DLCs since they have a small bug or something.
it wasn't the livery that made the kuruma bulletproof. the car was bulletproof even without a livery. they broke the model in the update where they added the liveries. it's clearly a very small team working on the updates at this point so a lot of stuff gets overlooked and ignored. it's unfortunate
@whydoineedahandle9 oh okay sorry, I guess I remember wrong. In fact , I remember some npcs from a ceo mission had kurumas and it was impossible to shoot them . Yes it's petty unfortunate , a billion company still has a small team

I just bought this thing and it's the most buggy vehicle ever. Passengers can't get in the passenger side 50% of the time and I've even been stuck inside of it myself as the driver and had to restart the entire game because it wouldn't let me get out. Awesome use of $2.5 million.
It’s probably just me, but I don’t think the lock on jammers on the Imani tech vehicles even work on the newer ones anyways the ones on the contract deal see they work LS drug wars an LS mercenaries update I will be driving along randomly, and I just get locked onto that is my experience with a newer Imani tech vehicles.

The window panels seem to act like a spoiler for some reason too, at least that's what I got from Hoa's comment when I put them on.
I think the dlc is just entirely not finished as everything is broken in this dlc

I have a theory about the dripfeed based on this. Maybe they dont stretch out the dripfeed over insane periods of time, with content dropping at seemingly random intervals just for S&Gs. Maybe they drop the dripfeed cars as they finish them. So maybe they couldn't just put this into the dripfeed and make one of those a day-one car because its the closest thing they had to being done
it doesn't work that way. the cars and everything else that will be released later on is in your game already. if it wasn't, you'd have to download an update for when they release stuff that is hidden right now. they can't just change a model or whatever and release it without making you download new files.
The cars are finished, for the most part maybe, because you can spawn them via a trainer and they work just fine.
Now I know I'm not crazy. I have two of them and both have Missle Jammers, but one is a racing rally build and the other for show.
I've noticed one being able to tank a couple mk2 rockets again skilled free aim shooters who managed to hit me, while one would blow me up another time. It's becoming a habit of them releasing DLCs with messy designed cars.
With this new game there’s no excuse there excuse has been ohhh we’re doing the best with what we have or now they say it’s and old system and its 13 years old and they weren’t a billion dollar company before gta 5 no excuses going forward with the new games they got the money now to perform 110%
