I really like the idea of tucking the top of the zipper into the seam to shorten it! It's so tidy. I've never done separating zippers so that's a really great tip.
Up until now, I have always refrained from putting zippers on doll clothes because I couldn't find zippers small enough. With this video, you showed me how it can now be done and I found it looks very easy.
Separating zippers look a little scary, but I honestly think they’re one of the easiest to install. I do avoid metal zippers most of the time, but in some jackets, they sometimes are the only thing that look right. (My secret weapon for removing those metal teeth are handing it over to my hubby … he just always seems to have the right tools in the garage!) I like seeing how you buried that top end of the zipper … I’m actually half way through making this same jacket right now, so this was a timely reminder!
You make it look so simple. I don't use patterns with zippers because I was not sure how to do it. You did a good job illustrating how easy it really is
