Taleka Carson Todd confirmed that the actor for Asmodeus has been casting already and we will see him on this season. Is just my guessing he’ll appear on 3B because I feel like it but I could be totally wrong and he could appear on 3A though. Anyway, the thing is that he IS on the serie this year. Mark of Cain is an ancient angelic rune which isnt found in the Gray book. It's a Mark that shouldnt be used by anyone. I think the show made the seelie queen mark simon considering that faeries are also ancient beings who are believed to be 'fallen angels' or downworlders born of demons and angels.
Totally forgot that it was a rune too. In my head I was thinking that Clary made it which is obviously a no 🤦🏻♀️ and your reasoning for the seelie Queen doing it makes sense!
Ray & Danii 😊 but i really wanted clary instead of the queen to mark simon tho bc it goes well with the fact that she is a special kind of nephilim and nephilims should be the only ones who can draw runes. 😔 then i remembered that the epic downworlders+shadowhunters joining forces to fight the enemy in CoG happened in season 2a finale and they didnt have time for clary to put the mark on simon.

Clary’s ability to be able to draw runes is what makes her special, but having the Seelie Queen do it kind of takes that away 🙁 I feel like we haven’t gotten anything to really SHOW what Valentine did to her compared to Jace whose eyes glow whenever his angel blood kicks in 🤔
