Its good that the judges are firm. Its a reality show/competition. I believe behind the scenes they definitely tasted Elizabeth's works too and give her encouragements. Really see lots of creativity in this competition! Great production!
This is also the second time Elizabeth overshot the timing. The preliminary round, she overshot by 9 minutes, and the judges closed their eyes..... But as the competition progresses, they must be stricter or else won't be fair to other contestants.
@@catechin29 In the preliminaries, I can understand the judges showing a degree of leniency with the rules, but as competition gets serious and contestants slim down in numbers one by one, general show rules should be followed, regardless of any mishaps that can happen

Is it just me but I really love seeing this side of Jeannette? She used to be the really really cute and innocent girl when filming dramas, always full of energy and laughing adorably, but now it's like shes all grown up, mature and professional and like just cool!! She's a legend who is able to do it all omg...I really like her very much 🥺 I hope she acts soon but Im happy with whatever she chooses to do and will support her continuously ❤️
I actually think that this is her real side, just that the roles she played on TV are always the cute and innocent ones. You can see that she takes her work and her job very seriously all along.

Sadly Elizabeth got eliminated without a reason stated, but it's likely due to improper planning and plating up an incomplete dish. As she was the only one with an incomplete dish, she was more likely to get eliminated. As for Noelle, everything was too sweet. The end
Elizabeth is taking her own sweet time probably thinking she can get away with extra time or flexibility from the judges.
I think some of y’all need to understand that production and editing of TV shows can exaggerate and take situations out of context. It is also damn stressful in their position. In Elizabeth’s position, we would all be fumbling and slow as well so not sure why y’all be attacking her. Anyways, she was disqualified in the end. Fair competition. I don’t think there’s any need for discouraging comments

I felt like all the contestants about the petit fours not bad.
Elizabeth is more suitable to stay at home and take her own sweet time baking /making desserts. Idk why I feel like choking her seeing how she works.....
Just because you work in food industry doesnt mean you need to be running around and always just barely cutting to the edge of time, it gives a bad notion that a career in food is full of stress, which is totally false.
In French, ‘petit’ is masculine, the ending t is silent, and Janice pronounces the feminine ‘petite’...

yeah, wonder why couldn't Elizabeth serve the judges the other fully plated petit four stand? Can someone enlighten me?
My assumption is that perhaps she didn't know which one would be used as the photographed unit, seeing how shocked she was. or they were told that the one that's meant to be photographed would be the competition's priority. Either way, it wasn't completed, the chocolate she wanted to make wasn't placed. Broke me when she started to tear up
It's part of the rule they explained it at 34:32 , it says they will taste and score the one that was incomplete but imo it's kinda weird to taste the one which has less food since another tray has more food on it.

No, some people engage in cooking and baking out of hobby and therapeutic reason (as an activity after work), usually they find then follow a rhythm during cooking/baking which enable them operate on a steady pace. I find her actions here relatable as many home cooks/bakers simply enjoy the craft without stress

@@rdu239 yes, it can be done leisurely in her own time but this is a competition where a time limit is imposed. You can clearly tell from Jeanette Aw's expression that she was annoyed at the pace Elizabeth was doing things
