There isn’t an unbroken line of initiation, but perhaps that broken line gets mended with each initiation now. The feeling of coming home to Wicca is experienced very often, afaik. Thanks, interesting video.

Wicca is old and new. It has had many forms and names through our history. I love that he points to the Abrahamic magicians. It's like math or science. All cultures have had magic. Even the Abrahamic ones. And when you discuss magic, and relate to them, that Jesus was a magician, it's only argument is , where it comes from? God or a devil. Obviously pagans call on gods. And Satanism and Demonalators call on devils. Blessed be to all magic users, and even to left hand path people, you are honored too.
The Devil has nothig to do with Ha-Satan or Lucifer so to directly associate him with Satanism or Luciferianism it would be inaccurate.
While Neo Pagans do mental gymnastics to recreate what is forever lost, that is, the sight of the Gods and Goddesses and Spirits of the old ways, many pagan ways have survived theough the figure of the Folk Devil or the Witche's Devil.
But because "he is Christian" Pagans shunned him. What is Christian really? Is it Christian to leave a plot of the field without sowing as an offering to the Devil? Is it Christian to go into the hedge of the forest and wisper the name "Robin" to call him for assistance? Is it Christian to unwalk the way to the church, walking backwards and give oneself to the embrace of the Woods at night and know that the deep into the darkness of those woods there is a figure, a spirit, old, maligned and spat at, that keeps the boundary between this world and the other? A Figure at the Crossroads? What of all of that is Christian?

How can one start these practices if they are on their own?
Solitary practice is quite common. There are many books on the subject that are reasonably easy to obtain online. Many are very accessible to beginners and contain spells can be performed by yourself.

@@mdw7389 hi @Mdw, there is a witch on utube called HearthWitch, who recommended this book "Practical Solitary Magic", by Nancy B Watson. I'm reading it and find it very good so far. Good luck 🙂

Several Remarks: this is new age gibberish. As far as I understand, the Abrahamic Faiths make it clear that they disapprove of Magic & Witchcraft. Islamically (Sunni Islam = Islam), anyone who actually succeeds in witchcraft, attempts to do so, or knows that they are charlatans in their hearts, emptying your purse. Islamically, any Muslim who dabbles in witchcraft fully leaves the fold. If that person is lucky, then they will denounce witchcraft, and they may be forgiven if God wills it, and the person just again re-enter Islam. In fact, a Muslim who reads their astrological sign in the paper, and believes it NOT, his formal 5 times daily salat will be rejected for 40 days. If he believes the fortune, he has left Islam.
Idris shah, a sufi "sage"whom westerners seem to gravitate towards. Modern sufism is mysticism and is forbidden since it implies that there is divine revelation available to an individual that are inaccessible to the rest of creation. This would mean that the godhead worshipped is not a fair and Just, and is, therefore, hardly worthy of worship. Peace

I agree that it's very very new age. However, the rest of what you said was vague and perhaps there's a more direct way to relay what you're trying to say about muslims that dabble in the craft.
