Sometimes I wish there were a phantom ganon that was like a stalker. Moving all over the map with a standard health bar that you had to deplete throughout the game

A short Reminder that the Lynels are actually his own creation, so maybe Ganondorf loses Power with each Monster he creates, which is why he has to rely on the natural Bloodmoon if he cannot summon it at will

This Version of Ganondorf is technically weaker than most other incarnations when it comes to combat or at least has major disadvantages.
Yeah, Ganondorf was in his Prime in the sealing War but he got some years on his back.
Other versions of Ganon suddenly get Invincibility from any form of Damage unless you either do a certain thing or you use holiness against him.
Twilight Princess Ganondorf for example can Block Attacks from the Morning Star so he easily would Block every attack of the Lynel with ease - eventhough he doesnt need to considering that only the Master Sword can damage him, he doesnt even bother to block the Ordon Sword because this Sword has no effect on TP Ganondorf
@@Chris-gx1ei I think they just wanted made it easier for the player to beat him though it's still odd to me that they didnt made it were only the master sword can finish him in the final part in his Demon king form.
I mean they did it on the ocarina of time. you cant kill him with the biggoron sword or megaton hammer no matter how many times you hit him with those weapons & in Twilight Princess Ganondrop to as you said.
I wish they did this in Tears of the kingdom to. I mean most of the plot of the game was just that.. The master sword is the only thing that can harm the demon king. lol

A Lynel VS a King Gleeok would be cool

@@Dunno683 I am pretty sure in game mechanics Gleeok would destroy even demon dragon besides stabbing the forehead.
Game mechanics according to guides is funny. In lore everybody knows temple bosses are far above overworld bosses and Lynels, Froxes or Gleeoks make Colgera look like a joke (only Queen Gibdo and Seized Construct are worthy discussion).
I don't even understand the game mechanics at all because Colgera apparently has 600 HP or 1200 HP (post 5 temples) but Colgera doesn't give a feeling of it because it is just one shot strike into stomach. Meanwhile Moragia has 3 HP, but it is invulnerable to anything besides Yunobo's strike. Evil Yunobo as well has 3 HP, but is invulnerable until he gets dizzy. Just weird.

Ngl I wish that Ganondorf’s in-game form was as powerful as the story was hyping him up to be, where he seemed to be some sort of indestructible force. While he couldn’t kill the lynel within the game, I’m sure his destructive ability story wise is on another level lol
If he was actually as powerful as the game hypes him up to be, he would probably be unbeatable, and he's already pretty hard (for a Zelda boss) to begin with. Imo, the game already makes him feel pretty powerful as is, from a mechanical standpoint at least. His health bar literally goes off the charts, he can perfect-dodge your attacks, uses all the same weapons as you, can summon an army of clones, and can literally destroy your hearts.

As much as I love the Ganondorf boss fight, I wish he was harder so he could actually be harder than a Lynel.

To be fair ganondorf is designed with the heart removal mechanic in mind, but still super neat nonetheless

Keep in mind they respawned ever since the awakening of Ganondorf, didn’t exist 6 years ago in Hyrule.
I'll change it to "The King of Beasts" I guess I didn't think of Gleeoks because they're dragons. But if it drop monster parts it's a monster.

I've just realised how much I've been winging most of the names in this game. When you said Lynel as Lionel, I got confused for a solid minute and went, ain't that thing called Le-Nel??? 😂😂😂
I've had that a few times with video game names🤣. A common name to get wrong is the Mario enemy "Bob-omb" which people often pronounce as "Bomb-omb". I think Lynels get their name from lions which they kind of look like.

Honestly goes to show that more health doesnt really make an enemy more fun, a huge reason Master Mode sucked. Ganondorf is the most fun battle out of all enemies in both of the games imo, and the lynel is the best BotW had to offer, but fighting a lynel just went on too long and you ended up just repeating the same pattern for 5 minutes hoping you dont mess up and take damage
Im really not a fan of BotW or TotKs "difficulty" scaling if that wasnt clear. imo higher tier enemies should only be slightly tougher, but be smarter and have additional moves to make them scarier and less predictable
New to the channel so maybe you've already done this but I'd like to see if Ganondorf can do any of the depths arena . He obviously doesn't stand a chance at the Lionel one alone but I'm curious how many ganons it would take to actually complete that arena especially the armored lionel
The Zelda series youtubers just doing these things in the game are the premium content of RUclips, the Legend of Zelda series is just made different when we see these vids (most of the time botw/totk)

Fun fact: Silver Lynels do actually have more HP than DKG's second form. Molduga Hammer (RGC Pristine bonus + Bone Prof. + Atk Up 3 + shatter bonus) takes (at least) 5 hits to kill a Lynel, but only 4 to kill Ganondorf's second form... and without the HP cutoff due to his phase cutscene, Ganondorf would actually take closer to 3.5 hits. Hard to properly calculate the HP values without the special effect from Champion's Tunic, but the math checks out.
The strongest lizalfos vs the strongest construct was my comment! And it was a good fight!

The lynels are so powerful even their godlike creator can't beat them. well, in a 1v1.
Considering that Calamity Ganon's Form Harbinger Ganon / Mutation Ganon can absorb Monsters to become stronger, I think he can do it the other way around as well but becomming Weaker in return, which might explain the need for a Bloodmoon to revive his fallen Army

How did he do that
This just serves to show how disappointing Ganondorf's in-game power level was. From the first time I fought him, I could tell he was weaker than his minions. That's why almost all my vids are an attempt to make him feel as strong as he should have been, if the gameplay followed the canon (working on another even now). King Gleeok's devastative power is far beyond anything Ganondorf could throw out in gameplay. But in cutscenes, he appeared to be really powerful.
When I first fought him, I actually played around with him first so that I don't kill him too quickly before I get to see all his moves. Can't say the same for my first ever lynel. That thing beat me black and blue multiple times over.
He should have twice the health of a Lynel

Phantom Ganon has way less health (900) so it takes a lot

2:03 shows why BOTW is better. No BOTW enemy would have been able to defeat Calamity Ganon. TOTK Ganondorf was good in every measure except actual gameplay.
Yeah, after half of his health he basically has a shield that cannot be penedrated.
@@Chris-gx1ei and in addition to that, he has various wide range elemental and melee moves, and can do his own version of the moves of most bosses in the game. Bro can casually make tornadoes, supernova, wide area flame slash, giant spear throw, guardian beam etc. That’s the kind of display of power I expected from Ganondorf.
Damn Ganondorf is just weak
Reminder that Ganondorf actually creates the Monsters, so maybe parts of his power vanishes when creating a lynel.
And not to mention that Ganondorf's Total health is way less than Calamity Ganon who has 8000 HP, Ganondorf has 2500 in his first and 5000 in his second phase, making it a total of 7500, the exact ammount of health a Silver Lynel has (or was it Gold? I don't remember)

I actually think a lore accurate Ganondorf would whip the floor with any Lynel :D
It's also kinda weird that the devs gave the final boss less or same HP than the some normal "Bosses". But that is probably because of balancing - they don't want to make the final boss too hard to finish the game. Whereas e.g King Gleeok is optional so they make it harder (more HP)
Anyway still interesting fight to watch!
@@Chris-gx1ei Although it fun to speculate non of it really make sense. The highest HP enemy is technically the seized construct with 20,000 but obviously it doesn't work like that.
Really Ganondorf wins not lynel
