I believe Miss Thailand is also humble. As a red hot favorite to win throughout the whole competition, and she carries the high hopes from her home country since Thailand is a popular pageant country but had not win MU for more than 30 years. I believe her pressure must be extremely insame... You cannot blame her from that.
And Miss Nicaragua was also very hungry to win the title as well. As we all know even though she also carries the pressure from all Nicaraguans, but Nicaragua has never won anything big, not only big pageant competitions but also sport events as well. So at this point she has nothing to lose but everything to prove.
Miss Thailand was very rude by not hugging the MU winner. She has an attitude problem, that's for sure.
This competition was held in El Salvador another central American country and very close to Nicaragua with the same language. That's why crowd favored her. She may be beautiful as per latin American eyes but if u ask any Asian or African they would have definitely chosen Thailand. When I first saw miss Nicaragua I felt she was old or her smile is not attractive. I watched all her videos and found that she was in pagentry for long time with huge exposure in different events like miss teen Nicaragua, miss Nicaragua, miss world Nicaragua and finally Miss universe. So she has worked a lot and luck was in favor this time as the competition held in her neighbouring country.
I love her, she is amazing, and I am so happy for she win the title, also so happy for this year new country win the MU title, love from India🇮🇳
She killed the competition! She ate every single segment. I admire the consistency! If you’re gonna compete go for the win or go home! Also, so original! This much personality in different facets is just very much a testament to her intelligence and self awareness. Stunning.

I don't pay much attention to beauty pageant contest but there is a drama in Thailand about some people said she doesn't deserve to be crowned so I watched the final show and I am so impressed. She is the most beautiful woman inside and out I have ever seen. Her personality is full of compassion and leadership. Her every performance is excellent. She is more than deserved. She really GAVE us a performance every time she stepped on that stage. Knew how to work the camera angles, posed then hit her mark. It was truly amazing to watch. Most girls will copy her runway from now on. I hope her win opens doors to the countries that never classify. Most countries like USA, Venezuela, Colombia, Puerto Rico always classify just because of their flag.
I think Venezuela, Colombia, PR and USA were stunning. It just wasn’t their night clearly. Nicaragua was clearly the standout. But those countries train their women well.
I don't think that countries like US, PR, Venezuela, Colombia or Philippines, Thailand always qualified because of their flags. These countries have been the pageantry power houses and more resources are devoted in these countries, and these countries' nationals are basically more competitively. Hence pageants from these countries are usually more consistent than others.
