Time to serve the Airport!

City Bus Manager: Newcastle - Episode 17
After getting the itch to make liveries again recently, I was going to have a 2024 refresh of the brand. However, it soon became apparent how bad an idea that would be for someone with as little free time as me. Then I realised that what I COULD do is design a scheme between the 'Original' scheme carried by our two Presidents in Newcastle, and the current 'Polygons' scheme, given in the lore they're 14 years apart. So with that, today we show off our new 'Arrows' scheme to fall between the two.
Then, we crack on with a map expansion, and it reveals Newcastle's Airport, meaning the 201 gets an extension there, followed by a brand new route - the X1 from the city centre up to there as well.

I reckon the X1 absolutely should be numbered as the A1 given that the main dual carriageway road it runs express on is actually the A1 at the Newcastle bypass

Yeah that could work. One other idea I had is just AIR, but that is kind of coined in Scotland right now 🤣
