TTC is a joke
Ontario and across the board

Used to be world leader in the 70's
Toronto is comedy show. City major keeps on abusing tax dollars for refugees, crackheads and illegals taking away money from transit system and hence poor maintenance
They have no plans for when things go wrong -> genius 👏👏👏👏 🤦♂️ 2:28
Recycled
For everything-healthcare, schools, highways, Rogers blackout-any new situation throws them totally off guard and exposes the cracks.
It's going to get worst if you don't start building more subway lines. See, if one line goes down, you could walk a few blocks to the next subway station line. Gotta look like European subways or like New York city.
Hell they can't even get on the same page to finish what's started.
Was just in Tokyo, the population of Canada in one city..... we really need to learn a thing or two from Japan!
Ttc doesn't care for customers.
What happened to the TTC strike???
Toronto cannot survive a minute without a TTC
how can you have an oil leak on system thats constantly closed for mainteniance. I want to hear details of how this leak occured.
In my more than 50 years of existence in this chaotic world of humans, I have learnt early in life that no one cares about anybody else but yourself. No amount of complaining can fix things when something goes wrong. That is why there are contingencies not from the administrators but from yourself, supposedly. Life is an adventure and danger adds relish to it.
It took me a long time to realize this. But you are correct
Sadly an instinct
15 minute cities rats in a maze
I love my 15 minute city of Toronto, so convenient. Cons think if they leave their cars at home to walk to the store their dicks will fall off.
This was yesterday why is it being reported in Today?
I guess this sort of thing is why they’re not calling the TTC “the better way” anymore. Hard to believe public transit in Toronto could be less reliable than highways in Toronto with their traffic problems from motor vehicle collisions or just volume. But it seems to be. And, compared to real “world class” cities, which is what low functioning Toronto politicians habitually called the place, the Toronto subway system is a puny little product with no alternative routes. Assigning a failing grade barely begins to cover it
TTC always stood for "take the car."
Get rid of those bike lanes on Bloor, they don't make sense in high volume traffic. Like Yonge St, it's a joke, so congested.
New York has one way traffic so at least there's more then one lane ...big city Toronto and one lane???😂😂
It is not the bike that is making congestion by to many interaction and to many cars on the street.
Just one more lane bro 🤡🤡🤡
TTC incompetence strikes again.
This entire city sucks. The roads suck, the public transit sucks, half the neighborhoods look like India now, crackheads and homeless are everywhere, housing prices are insane.
I was born here, lived here all my life but I’m leaving soon and never coming back.
I learned long ago that TTC stands for take the car .
Oil? From what?
Exactly how would oil, get into the city?!
Oil is refined outside all cities, and never transported in the city limits, so where did thousands of gallons of unrefined, unused oil, suddenly come from?!
From my ass
Um, where are you getting "thousands of gallons of unrefined, unused oil" from? The maintenance car leaked hydraulic oil.
@j.graham8068 ...the women stated, tracks and trains were covered and couldn't brake...as someone who assisted in the building of the Sea To Sky line in Vancouver, Cambie to the airport...
The tracks are not in the ground, they're above the ground, and to be covered in Hydraulic Fluid, it would take, thousands of gallons, to reach the level of the tracks...she stated it, not me...
As I said, I worked down there, the tracks always have Hydraulic Fluid on them, to lower friction heat and due to the Braking System, using Hydraulic Fluid, it's literally everywhere, on the walls, equipment and emanating from the subway systems...
Have you ever used a subway system? Have you never asked what that oil smell is?
It's only been around since the 1800s, the subways...
What's your next question 🤔 👀 😏
@@Inlinetodieso what you are saying is that you can't have too much oil on the tracks to make them dangerous to ride over? So having an inch of oil in the track for over a metre won't cause the subway to slip when breaking? From what I understand is Greasing railroad tracks is not a common practice and is generally not recommended because it can create safety hazards and potentially lead to accidents. Greasing the tracks can reduce friction between the wheels of the train and the tracks, which are essential for the train to maintain traction and control.
If the tracks are greased, several potential problems could arise:
Reduced traction: Greasing the tracks can reduce the friction between the wheels and the tracks, which can make it difficult for the train to accelerate, decelerate, or maintain control, especially in wet or icy conditions.
Increased stopping distance: Greased tracks can make it harder for the train to stop when necessary, which can increase the risk of accidents, particularly at railroad crossings or in busy areas.
Derailment risk: Greased tracks can increase the risk of derailment because the wheels may not grip the tracks securely, leading to the train potentially coming off the tracks.
Maintenance issues: Grease on the tracks can attract debris and dirt, which can lead to maintenance issues and potentially damage the train wheels or tracks over time.
Overall, greasing railroad tracks can compromise safety and operational efficiency. It is important to keep railroad tracks clean, well-maintained, and free of any substances that could compromise the safe operation of trains.
Did racism have anything to do with this?
And climate change
ban oil!
No, it was the lack of affordable apartments
Is there any possible way we can implicate Trudeau in this mess?
No, but I’m sure you’ll blame Trump 🤡
Laughing in WFH
When did Brampton get a subway?
It’s funny cuz I don’t take the TTC 🤣
I'll bet Uber et al will jack prices to the moon!!
Yeah capitalism!!!
Turdos Canada
and... everyone thats complaining is suddenly a transportation expert and civil engineer on the matter
“I used to herd cats, so I know what I’m talking about here . . .”
and I presume you are the SME...
