When using Caulk, use your finger to spead & smooth, not a screw driver. Clean up edges with a damp sponge.

Thank you for your video - Girls getting it done. Only tip I have learned with caulking items. Cut your tube at a angle with a small hole, after you apply the caulk, use a small popsicle stick and trace over it all the way, like you would with your finger, but the stick makes a cleaner line. It is a great professional look.

Thanks for teaching me this method. Skipping the foundation step. Only because Bacon soda or glue gone works for that. I'm definitely using the scissors and tracing everything. It looks nice how is it holding up
Thank you! It’s holding up really good! It’s easy to mop and sweep! Also easy to get any stains out. I haven’t seen any lifting either.
Will goo gone really help remove the glue?
Using paper to trace out is a neat idea.👍 I would use my finger to smooth out the caulking or you could buy a gadget to smooth the caulking.⭐️

& maybe this is dumb question or maybe you already explained BUT. how do u prevent the new flooring from sliding since you put the new flooring on top of that plastic…or is it in placed? I’m confused 🥴😂 please explain

Could you make an update video on how it’s holding up? Do you think doing it this way will work for a bigger room such as a living room and hallway? My only concern is that it may slide around on top of the shower curtain.
Yes I can definitely do another video! Coming soon lol & yes it’ll work for larger spaces as well, just make sure the foundation is cleaned and make sure you’re placing the flooring down super close to eachother so it won’t budge. The tile is so sticky so once it’s down.. it’s not moving. That’s why with rental properties you need to put down something protective so the actual floor won’t get damaged.

Good job, Jae. Now that times gone by, can you feel the grout lines from the tile underneath? Also, do you have any issues with water getting between the top layer pieces? Like maybe getting out of the shower. Great video

Hi! I bought a house and looking to make this on my bathroom floor since I don't have the money for a full renovation. But my floor is not leveled. Any tip?
Does it slide and shift using that plastic as your foundation?
Nope. It doesn’t slide
Just so I’m clear, shower curtain.. cut in half.. tape down.. as foundation?
To keep the adhesive from ruining the floor.

Nope not at all, the flooring is so sticky that curtain don’t move at all.

That’s a great question. I’m not sure. You could use a poster board and tape that.

Hey Hey! And to protect the actual flooring since this is a rental property. the peel and stick tile is really sticky and it can mess up the actual flooring!
