Taiwan’s first offshore wind farm inaugurated

Taiwan’s first offshore wind farm is officially open. In a ceremony Tuesday, President Tsai Ing-wen inaugurated the facility, which is located off the Miaoli coast. Formosa 1 will operate on a trial basis before launching commercial operations by the end of this year.
