lisa ROXXI sandoval to some one like me, makeup is a must. I have really bad acne and I will be extremely shy without makeup when I go to any event. Despite hearing a bunch of words like “you are beautiful just the way you are” or “you don’t need makeup” you just don’t understand and will never understand how we feel. May be you are one of those with flawless skin so you don’t need to cover it.

Plus you have to understand that some people feel more confident with makeup. Even though you may not understand it, if people want to spend their money on makeup, they can spend their money on makeup.

Tati, I think you should challenge yourself. Once a week you should do a makeup tutorial with completely different products. Like, you’re not allowed to repeat a single one, though you’re allowed to use different shades. And then you could show us AAAAAALL of that makeup in action, I’m really curious about so many of your drawers!

Maybe you need a personal assistant to open your PR boxes and keep your beauty room and donation boxes organized. If I lived in America, I would definitely offer myself up for the position. XD I'd really get a kick out of a job like that.

Laurence Pelletier Lol! You're absolutely RIGHT!! I waited a very long time (while watching everyone else) before I decided I HAD to say something too! A day or two after I did, it was fixed! Now I'm in no way implying it was because of my comment that she fixed it, but I'm happy it worked out that way because I woulda had to scream at the top of my lungs so Tati could actually hear me (mind you, I'm in Tucson, Arizona 😜)! As a person who does stress-cleaning (clean while having stress), and as I am facing a bunch of stress right now, Tati's studio looks like heaven. So many potentials! So many to clean and to organise!
-labeling is SO useful- invest in a label maker, (the Brother P-Touch is a really good option)
-make a system with keep/get rid of
-do not keep things because you might use them because you won’t end up using them and that’s how things pile up.
-use dividers in the drawers to keep things lined up and organized so whenever the drawer gets full you will know to get rid of things to fit in the new ones
For your video ideas:
-use a calendar to give yourself an idea of when to do what
-color code your bins according to the urgency of filming, like green= asap, yellow= soon, red= it can wait. (You can use those small sticker dots for this, these are so good)
-whiteboards are a good idea if you need to remember something and don’t have a notebook nearby
-declutter the shelves and keep it looking clean and organized EVERYDAY! if you do this chances are it will stay looking nice and organized
Fridge:
-Keep ONLY beverages, no food.

Yes, yes, yes to the label maker, and another thing that would be very very useful for someone with a lot of make up is putting on a label with the date you opened the product, so you won't have to wonder if it's expired if you haven't used it in a long while.
P K like she said, she turns it off at night. that can make food go bad, but most drinks would be okay
P K it’s a beauty room not a kitchen, if she starts having food in there then it will eventually go bad so it’s a better option to just keep drinks in there

Girl you need an assistant to keep everything organized and decluttered. One person cannot do all of this. Impossible. Remove the stress and hire someone. I would offer to help you for free (ok maybe in exchange for some makeup) as I am obsessed wth organizing drawers, cabinets etc but I don't live in CA. I have those same glass knobs on all of my cabinets in my bathroom and I love them.

Sophia 14 : I bought them in a small mom and pop shop in Kansas City, KS when I worked there. Sorry I don’t remember the name of the shop. Maybe google glass knobs. I have seen them made out of clear acrylic too and you can’t tell the difference. Look up handle and knob shops.

I love how many drugstore makeup she has. Some people stay away from it as far as possible but Tati embracing every good product, no matter where it's from. Love her
I realized this is a year ago, but after watching this, I need to reorganize my room and the garage just to help my anxiety from this.... I would totally be in heaven organizing everything in that room.

I LOVE this room!!! What do you carry in your purse? Do you have a basic “makeup touch up/emergency” bag for your purse or do you change it out daily?
Tati, I have a shop closet also. However (idea I know it takes time, but it's really fun!) I go to women's shelters or a highschool, etc. I ask the employees there who has a job interview coming up or what kids need things for prom, etc. Then (with permission from parents if it's a highschool kid) I sit down and talk to those girls. Find out their likes, skin issues, colors they are drawn to, coverage they like, etc. Then I "go shopping" in my closet and take them a full face of makeup and then some that will suit them! Their faces always light up! Usually I always offer to help them for their special event or interview etc and do their makeup. It's a way to help others, see their faces, and not keep as much. The rest I do giveaways and friends and family. The hardest part (and I know you feel me on this) is "what if I need to compare for a dupe?" That's where I struggle. But my used products I never give away unless it's close family or friends anyway. So it's either keep it for reference purposes or trash it. Usually I end up keeping it. That's my biggest mess area in the studio!

destinee mcdonald it's so much fun! Their faces are always so sweet! It's a great feeling. Plus I know it's going to good use! They TRULY need it! Many of those ladies at shelters have gotten those jobs! The young ladies at proms and graduation I still get phone calls from. It's awesome!!

Pressed make up in a compact can be sterilized by spritzing with alcohol and certain charities will accept.

After reading many of the comments, it sounds like some may feel Tati is being ungrateful at times in this video. I personally do not feel she is being or sounding ungrateful. IMO she sounds a bit overwhelmed at what to do with it all. She could never try out all the products she gets free, and she knows that. So, she puts them away in drawers for now. Out of sight, out of mind...until she opens a drawer. In the real of things, I’m pretty sure Tati realizes she’s very fortunate and blessed to have a cushy job that she truly loves. She was just letting us in on her life more by showing us her “collection” behind the scenes. Thank you for that Tati. Now girl, hire you a good professional organizer and film it for us to see. True. My husband works from home (self employed) and he constantly gets overwhelmed with paperwork and filing( he does all his own billing). So it makes sense she would end up having too much makeup... I mean it IS her job. People who don't know need to lay off.
I agree! Plus many of us are emotionally attached to our makeup and you can tell she is, too. And she knows brands send it to her and feels like she owes it to them and to all of us who can't afford makeup to keep and take care of it!

Hire an assistant to help you. Before I was a nurse I would help people organize their kitchens and stuff, the person doesn't have to be a professional. Just hire a college student who could use a little makeup and extra money and who you also get along with.

I dont have her collection, But i have a Good 100 lipsticks (diferent textures and stuff) and when i left one At my mom's i i realised straight Away it was missing. And i hoard a lot of make-up, i just have Like a giant box with things still in the box Cuz i can Never hit an on stuff So Its Like waste, So i just somehow buy them, and then gradually make them gifts for my girlfriends lol

Yocheved Lam I would hope Tati is capable of doing that herself.. I mean she has all the storage space, closets, drawers... use them strategically! It's just a case of being overwhelmed with too much stuff and being paralyzed by the clutter. It's pretty much like hoarding.
