It’s amazing to me that you can just keep skating different skates all the time. That always killed me getting used to a pair I liked haha. Great video might just grab one to collect 🔥
Thanks for the comment Rachard! Hoping that these are the new “home skate” to deviate from. Always fun trying new skates but definitely have their unique quirks. Thanks for stopping by!
I'm so impressed with the quality of your videos. Especially because our how often you upload them. Filming, editing and taking...your content is REALLY good to watch. I'm thinking in getting the new Chris Farmer sway...and stick a Kaltik V1 on it. I think it's going to be the best value. What you get for the money you put!!! Anyways...congrats again dude Cheers
I went to the skatepark for the first time at dawn and I can't wait to do it again, so nice getting out of the heat and having the park to myself. no sun and temp was perfect
the more i see those skates the more i like em ngl at first i was like oh thats a weird colorway but its actually dope as long as they feel as great when skating tho
I've written a comment on another video about the Anarchy skates (mine broke). I ordered 909 Pat Ridder's after that and it was such an interesting experience to move to the 909's after starting to learn aggressive inline skating on the Anarchy's. I had then mainly skated a small miniramp and the first thing that i noticed was, like you mention in this video, the speed. Instead of having to pump hard both on the way down and up to keep the speed to do certain things i initially just flew over the coping. Now i just have to "chill" a bit if i want to do like a stall I'm not comfortable with and not end up going over and out instead. I love my 909's. They feel great and just makes me want to skate more. The only drawbacks i've noticed so far was that the laces broke within a week and the soul plate hardware had been overtightened when i got them but they are holding up fine anyway and the vendor offered to send me replacements when needed.
I have the pat ridder 909s going from usd thrones I struggled with any boot down trick but I'm geting there now. I noticed a huge improvment in maneuverability and speed no need to pump as much. And they grind fast too.
@@iRollerboot can’t imagine you skating them with some upgraded liners, I can just tell you’re gonna kill it in them once you get used to them and they are broken in!
Back when Valo was all the rage everyone in my area went and got them and I was the last one to. and when I finally did I always regretted it. I love the dudes who skate for them but I will never skate anything that resembles that shit ever again. thank you for being honest about this review. There’s a lot of peer pressure just to say “these are great skates” because of how “cool” everyone is that has them
if you strip the bridge hardware and delete the threads, use a pair of pliers to squeeze the hole smaller and chase the threads. there’s no need to reef on the hardware. i used an old jug insole for a shock absorber. downsized to small shell, normally on 8/9 in everything else.
Great skating! looked really comfortable despite the heat. They look really good on feet, I really want to get this model but I fear the next release will be the one for me. Such a dilemma. One thing that helped with the heal lift for me was doing a lock lace technique at the top two holes. I switched to the small shell, and it doesn't really effect it anymore. (My feet are 7mm smaller though.)
Definitely try the cuff in the low position. Took care of my heel lift totally. Also, the stock them wheels are fantastic. The ones they call original pour at least.
I'm super surprised at your first impressions. I got the first set of 909s in black and my only critique was that the heel of the soul plate was too narrow... which apparently has been changed on all new models now starting with the Ridder pro model. I guess different skates for different skaters yah? Although I skated mine really well I would say overall I perform better in other skates. 909s are super good though!
The new 909s have a way bigger soul plate I have the original 909 and those brain dead ones and the soul plate is way smaller in the heel area on the original 909 and the negative is somewhat smaller
It looks good. The color is not my Cup of coffe :D but my friend have 909 too And He says that is really good And that the soulplate is Fast on coping. But I prefer valo. Your videos is really good, you are really good skater, but can you make some video like backflip tutorial? It helps me. ;) Thanks from Czech Republic.

2 things; the liner was my favorite part of THEM skates… I do not understand why people swap em’ The skates are actually very light but the frame is close to the heaviest on the market

That was the highlight in this video, in my opinion.
Was nice to see.

Absolutely love the moment at 2:56 the cheer and lil board tap. Fabulous content all over the channel sir!!

For sure! 🥵 thanks Jeremy!

Those are some squeaky bois, one of the main reason why I like Remz. Theres little to no boot squeaking
That’s definitely true. I don’t notice the squeaks until I’m editing later on lol

I’ll have to look up “chasing threads” not sure what that is. But thanks for the info!
highly recommend the intuition liners for the 909. Makes the skate more responsive to topsides.
Saving up for some. Can’t wait!

Thanks for the heads up, def will be trying that technique 👍👍
I've definitely heard a lot of people say the Them frames are their favorite frame for flat
I can see why 🔥
Love the 909. Have you tried lowering the cuff yet?
Definitely will be doing that asap
I'd like to try a 909 at some point as I've really enjoyed my Roces M12 and USD Sway. I won't be getting that colour for sure haha.
Fair enough 😆
the 909s ‘22 grey skate only lasted me 3months of hard skating! The frames and wheels are fire lasted longer than the actual skate
Wild, what made them unskateable?
Great video
Thank you Isaac
Part of the weight is the frames, very heavy frames (makes sense, very thick, the upside is they’re probably really stiff frames

For wax, try beeswax paraffin wax blend - the beeswax is a little bit more resilient than regular candle wax (usually entirely paraffin)
