- Gog and Magog are on the lips of a lot of people these days because of everything that's going on in Israel, Russia's invasion of Ukraine, threatening the world with nuclear arms, and China's siding with Russia at the moment. Many people think about the book of Ezekiel. Ezekiel tells of these world powers known as Gog, and Magog.
A Mystery in the Scripture: "Gog and Magog" add up to 70 in Hebrew...That is extremely important.
70 represents all the nations of the world, uniting together for an evil purpose, to fight against God, and to come against Israel to try and destroy God's promises of what he said he would do at the End of Days.
Don't be discouraged. you're seated with Him in heavenly places. The One who is in you is greater than the One who is in the world and therefore you are an overcomer!

Also rabbi , I suffered from a stroke and brain aneurysm from Wuhan strain 2020 early it was Def a weapon !! . I suffered almost 2 years always in massive pain swelling up in face stomach liver kidney hurt every 10 days like 10 out of 10 for pain .. I couldn't walk or talk barely and had to relearn to speak and do things !! I was prayed over by 2 anointed pastors in 2021 .. and I can now walk 6 miles no problem and all my pain is gone & my memory is better everyday !! What's even better than healing is , I was feeding people in need & clothing them thru this rescue mission .. 1 guy who got kicked out had his nephews attack me while I was out feeding people because he thiught i was staff and wanted revenge ... I was punched 3 xs .. by 2 grown men . They didn't harm me , so they went and got a bat out of cat .. I was told by 2 kids about aged 12 to get outta here , so they blocked the road az i started to go up a side street , and 3 witnesses saw the guy hit Me in back of head with a bat ! And the bat sounded like when a baseball player hits a foul ball ! I felt nothing by the way but everyone was amazed that I wasn't harmed .. the bat drops and then I am like Lot not turning back getting to safety runningaway from Gomorrah .. I was so shook up rabbi !! Then I go to thehospital. They did ct scans & I'm tip to pandemics check my body not a scratch or bruise on me . Just a lil nodule on my cheek like a pimple .. Then I go back hours later & the witnesses said " we saw something "deflect " the attack with bat then the bat drops to ground they said it was an angel 😇. Then the 2 men were unable to grab The bat right on the ground for over 3 minutes until I was far enougj away to safety !! How amazing is the lord !! He saved me . Jesus is showing his people that he's lord rabbi .. so many amazing miracles are happening in these last days !! I will pray for u 🙏
I've only heard a few similar stories, this one is a doozie! That is marvelous that there were people with faith to pray for you. That is actually commonplace in a church I attended back in the late '80's. I don't like how they attach religious dogma to things, and had to leave because of their literal interpretation of scripture as well. That is a ridiculously good story!

Gog is a Prince, not a place. Magog is the place. I like what the Rabbi was saying. You must look in Ezekiel chapters 38 and 39 to see this. There are more nations listed by Ezekiel that will align with Gog.

I like this guy, he delivers profound messages in a compact amount of time. Too many people have some grandiose message title and a 40 minute to 1 hour video and actually never directly address the subject. I've always felt if a person is a servant of God and has a message, people are not stupid, the importance or the message can be delivered in a few minutes. Also, he has a Spiritual purpose to the message and reinforces that God is in control. Rabbi Sobel does that for me so far. Keep up the good work. God Bless you.

Gog and Magog are ancient cities in what is now known as the nation of Turkey. This is an historical fact but the idea that Russia is Gog or Magog is quite a stretch. Doesn't meet the geographical location nor ethnic background in any historical sense.
Plus the Gog Magog war is after the time, times, and an half AND after Christ's 1000 year reign on Earth. See Revelation 20:7-10 and Ezekiel 38. Christ's followers are dwelling at peace without borders and qithout walls when Gog and Magog come.
The pre tribulation (and therefore pre millennial war) that is coming soon, is the one that takes down the scam and is described in Ezekiel 8-9.

Gog and Magog are the Euro-world-order that now rules the world from Washington is the world-order of Gog and Magog. The Qur’ān provided believers with a momentous sign by which they would not only have concrete evidence of the release of Gog and Magog, but more than that, they would have the evidence that the world was now in the control of Gog and Magog. They would thus be able to identify Gog and Magog as the Ruling Power in the world. This is located in the reference to Gog and Magog in Sūrah al- Anbiyāh:
“But there is a ban on a City which We have destroyed: that they (the residents) shall not return - until Gog and Magog are let through (their barrier) and they swiftly spread out in every direction.”
(Qur’ān, al-Anbiyāh, 21:95-6)
When Gog and Magog have been released and, in addition, “have spread out in every direction”, then at that time the people of the Town who were punished by Allah Most High, and banished from their town or city (which was destroyed by Allah Most High), would be brought back to that town or city. There is only one such town or city (which was destroyed by Allah Most High) which is mentioned in the Ahādith pertaining to Gog and Magog. And it is Jerusalem.
Since no other town or city (destroyed by Allah Most High) other than Jerusalem is mentioned in the Ahādith pertaining to Gog and Magog, we have come to the conclusion that the town or city mentioned in Sūrah al-Anbiyāh (verses 95 and 96) above can only be Jerusalem.
From this conclusion and identification of the town or city now emerges the implication that the return of the Jews to the Holy Land was made possible through the intervention of Gog and Magog. In other words, the Euro-world-order that now rules the world from Washington is the world-order of Gog and Magog. .
The Qur’ān proceeded to warn that when these events take place, the world would witness the countdown to the Last Day:
“Then will the true warning (of the Day of Accounts) draw close (to fulfillment): then behold! (on that day) the eyes of the Unbelievers will stare in horror: Ah! Woe to us! we were indeed heedless of this; nay, we truly did wrong!”
(Qur’ān, al-Anbiyah, 21:98)
When Gog and Magog are released they would ‘spread out in every direction’. This indicates that with their invincible power they
will take control of the whole world and that, for the first time in history, one set of people would rule all of mankind. That is precisely our present world.
The world order of Gog and Magog would be one of Fasād (i.e., oppression and wickedness). Sūrah al-Kahf has described the two defining characteristics of the Fasād of that world order as being the opposite of the two defining characteristics of the world order of Dhūl Qarnain.
The battle of gog and magog is after the 1000 year reign of Christ !!!!

Of all the posts I've read here your's caught my attention.
It seems to me based on Ezekiel 38 and 39 that it is Russia and Turkey as the two main military powers along with others.
After I became a Christian when I was 21 years old, which is a whooping 47 years ago now I started looking into this Gog and Magog matter.
I want to be as polite as possible but this Rabbi??? causes some senses of mine to fire and it isn't all that reassuring.

Gog of Magog sounds like a leader named Gog of Magog which Magog is believed to be located in the “Stan’s” or Turkmenistan, Uzbekistan, Kyrgyzstan, Kazakhstan, Tajikistan and maybe even Afghanistan(Not sure about Pakistan either), along with Cush and Put which is modern day Sudan and Libya. The Real Story of Yajuj and Majuj (Gog and Magog) :
1- Who are the Yajuj and Majuj (Gog and Magog)? :
The story of Yajuj and Majuj is stated both in the Quran and hadith. Their appearance will be one of the signs of the end times. These events will transpire after the arrival of Dajjal, Mehdi and Eesaa (alaihi salam). Both Quran and the hadith have clearly mentioned their existence, arrival and the aftermath of their arrival.
Gog and Magog (pronounced as “Gog u-Magog” in Hebrew and “Yajuj amd Majuj” in Arabic) are names that appear in the Old Testament, and in the Quran. Although they are sometimes individuals, sometimes peoples, and sometimes geographic regions, their reference in the Quran and hadith clearly indicates that they are people numerous in number who will appear toward end of times.
2- Origin of Yajuj and Majuj (Gog and Magog) :

According to the Quran, they will be set loose shortly before the arrival of the Day of Judgment as Allah Almighty has mentioned:
“Until, when Ya’jooj and Ma’jooj are let loose (from their barrier), and they swiftly swarm from every mound. And the true promise (Day of Resurrection) shall draw near (to fulfillment)…” [Surah al-Anbiyaa:96-97]
4- The barrier separating Yajuj and Majuj from people :
Allah Almighty clearly informed His Prophet (S.A.W.S) that Yajuj and Majuj will be from among the people of Hell and that their nature denies the truth and submission to it, as they will not respond to the caller till the Day of Judgment.
It is stated in the Holy Quran that Allah has held Yajuj and Majuj behind a barrier that was created with iron and copper by Dhoo’l-Qarnayn.
Allaah Almighty tells us (interpretation of the meaning): “Then he followed (another) way, until, when he reached between two mountains, he found, before (near) them (those two mountains), a people who scarcely understood a word. They said: ‘O Dhoo’l-Qarnayn! Verily! Ya’jooj and Ma’jooj are doing great mischief in the land. Shall we then pay you a tribute in order that you might erect a barrier between us and them?’ He said: ‘That (wealth, authority and power) in which my Lord has established me is better (than your tribute). So help me with strength (of men), I will erect between you and them a barrier. Give me pieces (blocks) or iron,’ then, when he had filled up the gap between the two mountain-cliffs, he said, ‘Blow,’ till when he had made it (red as) fire, he said, ‘Bring me molten copper to pour over it.’ So they [Ya’jooj and Ma’jooj] were made powerless to scale it or dig through it. (Dhoo’l-Qarnayn) said: ‘This is a mercy from my Lord, but when the Promise of my Lord comes, He shall level it down to the ground. And the Promise of my Lord is ever true.’ And on that Day [i.e., the day Ya’jooj and Ma’jooj will come out], We shall leave them to surge like waves on one another, and the Trumpet will be blown, and We shall collect them all together.” [Surah al-Kahf 18:92-99]
Imam Al-Bukhari transmitted in his Sahih the following Hadith: A man told the Prophet (S.A.W.S) that he had seen the dam of Gog and Magog. The Prophet (S.A.W.S) asked: “How did you find it?” The man said: “I found it like Al-Burd Al-Muhabbar (striped garments).” The Prophet (S.A.W.S) said: “You have seen it.”
In Ibn Jarir’s exegesis of the Qur’an, it was reported by Qatadah that when the man told the Prophet (S.A.W.S) that he had seen the dam of Gog and Magog and was asked to describe it, he said: ‘It looked like striped garments, with red and black stripes.’ The Prophet (S.A.W.S) said: “You have seen it.”
It is said that the Caliph, Al-Wathiq, sent some messengers with messages to different kings to ask them to travel from one country to another till they reached the dam and affirmed its reality. When they came back to the Caliph, they described it to him saying that it has a huge door with many locks. It was very high and the remnants of its building materials and tools were kept there in a tower. Also, there were still guards keeping an eye on it. They added that its location was on the north-east side of the earth. It was also said that their land was very spacious and that they lived on farming and hunting and that their numbers were countless.
A prophetic Hadith is transmitted by Imam Al- Bukhari and Imam Muslim on the authority of Mother of the Believers, Zainab Bint Jahsh (May Allah be pleased with her) that the Prophet (S.A.W.S) once came to her in a state of fear and said: “None has the right to be worshipped but Allah. Woe unto the Arabs from a danger that has come near. An opening has been made in the wall of Gog and Magog like this,” making a circle with his thumb and index finger. Zainab Bint Jahsh said: “O Allah’s Messenger! Shall we be destroyed even though there are pious persons among us?” He said: “Yes, when the evil persons will increase.” And in another narration the Prophet (S.A.W.S) said: “Allah has made an opening in the wall of the Gog and Magog (people) like this, and he made with his hand (with the help of his fingers)” (Al-Bukhari and Muslim).
This could be an indication of the opening of gates of evil and turmoil and the possibility of Gog and Magog invading with the permission of Allah Almighty.
Another Hadith is narrated by Imam Ahmed in his Musnad that the Prophet (S.A.W.S) said: “Verily, Gog and Magog dig through the dam every day, till they could see the sun rays (through it), and their leader would say: ‘Go back and you will finish it tomorrow.’ On the next day, they find it as strong as before. Till when their appointed term comes and Allah desires to send them against mankind, they dig it till they could see the sun rays (through it) and their leader says: ‘Go back and you will finish it tomorrow, if Allah wills!’ On the next day, they find it as they had left the day before and they dig through it and come against mankind. They will drink (every drop of water they pass by). The people will resort to strongholds. And, Gog and Magog will throw their arrows towards the sky. When they come back to them stained with what looks like blood, they will say: ‘We have defeated the people on earth and those in the heaven as well.’ Then, Allah the Almighty will send against them worms in their necks that will kill them all. Allah’s Messenger (S.A.W.S) said: “By Him in Whose Hand Muhammed’s soul rests! Living creatures of the earth would go fat and be thankful due to eating their flesh and (drinking their) blood.” (Also transmitted by Imam Ahmed on the authority of Hasan Ibn Musa after Sufyan after Qatadah and by At-Tirmidhi on the authority of Abu, Awanah after Qatadah.)

Al-Nawaas ibn Sam’aan (may Allah be pleased with him) reported that Prophet (peace and blessings of Allah be upon him), wile describing the signs of the Day of judgement said: “… and Allah will send Ya’jooj and Ma’jooj, swiftly swarming from every mound. They will pass the lake of Tiberias [in Palestine] and will drink everything that is in it. Then the last of them will pass by and will say, ‘There used to be water here once.’ The Prophet of Allah, Eesaa (Jesus), and his companions, will be besieged until a bull’s head will be more precious to one of them than a hundred dinars are to any of you today. Eesaa (Jesus) and his companions will pray to Allah, and Allah will send a kind of worm (like that found in the noses of camels and sheep) on their (Ya’jooj and Ma’jooj) necks, and they will fall down dead, all at once. Then Eesaa (Jesus) and his companions will come down out of the place where they were besieged, and they will find hardly a hand span of land that is not filled with the stench (of Ya’jooj and Ma’jooj), so Eesaa (Jesus) and his companions will pray to Allah, and He will send birds like the necks of camels to carry them away and throw them wherever Allah wills.” (Reported by Muslim, 18/68).
After the end of Gog Magog, the other signs of the arrival of day of judgment will come shortly one after another till the trumpet will be blown and the world in its present state will end.

There is only one such town or city (which was destroyed by Allah Most High) which is mentioned in the Ahādith pertaining to Gog and Magog. And it is Jerusalem.
Since no other town or city (destroyed by Allah Most High) other than Jerusalem is mentioned in the Ahādith pertaining to Gog and Magog, we have come to the conclusion that the town or city mentioned in Sūrah al-Anbiyāh (verses 95 and 96) above can only be Jerusalem.
From this conclusion and identification of the town or city now emerges the implication that the return of the Jews to the Holy Land was made possible through the intervention of Gog and Magog. In other words, the Euro-world-order that now rules the world from Washington is the world-order of Gog and Magog. .
The Qur’ān proceeded to warn that when these events take place, the world would witness the countdown to the Last Day:

In Ibn Jarir’s exegesis of the Qur’an, it was reported by Qatadah that when the man told the Prophet (S.A.W.S) that he had seen the dam of Gog and Magog and was asked to describe it, he said: ‘It looked like striped garments, with red and black stripes.’ The Prophet (S.A.W.S) said: “You have seen it.”
It is said that the Caliph, Al-Wathiq, sent some messengers with messages to different kings to ask them to travel from one country to another till they reached the dam and affirmed its reality. When they came back to the Caliph, they described it to him saying that it has a huge door with many locks. It was very high and the remnants of its building materials and tools were kept there in a tower. Also, there were still guards keeping an eye on it. They added that its location was on the north-east side of the earth. It was also said that their land was very spacious and that they lived on farming and hunting and that their numbers were countless.
A prophetic Hadith is transmitted by Imam Al- Bukhari and Imam Muslim on the authority of Mother of the Believers, Zainab Bint Jahsh (May Allah be pleased with her) that the Prophet (S.A.W.S) once came to her in a state of fear and said: “None has the right to be worshipped but Allah. Woe unto the Arabs from a danger that has come near. An opening has been made in the wall of Gog and Magog like this,” making a circle with his thumb and index finger. Zainab Bint Jahsh said: “O Allah’s Messenger! Shall we be destroyed even though there are pious persons among us?” He said: “Yes, when the evil persons will increase.” And in another narration the Prophet (S.A.W.S) said: “Allah has made an opening in the wall of the Gog and Magog (people) like this, and he made with his hand (with the help of his fingers)” (Al-Bukhari and Muslim).
This could be an indication of the opening of gates of evil and turmoil and the possibility of Gog and Magog invading with the permission of Allah Almighty.
Another Hadith is narrated by Imam Ahmed in his Musnad that the Prophet (S.A.W.S) said: “Verily, Gog and Magog dig through the dam every day, till they could see the sun rays (through it), and their leader would say: ‘Go back and you will finish it tomorrow.’ On the next day, they find it as strong as before. Till when their appointed term comes and Allah desires to send them against mankind, they dig it till they could see the sun rays (through it) and their leader says: ‘Go back and you will finish it tomorrow, if Allah wills!’ On the next day, they find it as they had left the day before and they dig through it and come against mankind. They will drink (every drop of water they pass by). The people will resort to strongholds. And, Gog and Magog will throw their arrows towards the sky. When they come back to them stained with what looks like blood, they will say: ‘We have defeated the people on earth and those in the heaven as well.’ Then, Allah the Almighty will send against them worms in their necks that will kill them all. Allah’s Messenger (S.A.W.S) said: “By Him in Whose Hand Muhammed’s soul rests! Living creatures of the earth would go fat and be thankful due to eating their flesh and (drinking their) blood.” (Also transmitted by Imam Ahmed on the authority of Hasan Ibn Musa after Sufyan after Qatadah and by At-Tirmidhi on the authority of Abu, Awanah after Qatadah.)
5- Destruction and death of Yajuj and Majuj by Eesa (Jesus):
After Prophet Jesus (Eesa) (P.B.U.H) will kill the Dajjal (Anti-Christ), Allah will inform him about the arrival of this disbelieving tribe that is undefeated and he will take refuge in the Mount of Toor until Allah will destroy them.
Al-Nawaas ibn Sam’aan (may Allah be pleased with him) reported that Prophet (peace and blessings of Allah be upon him), wile describing the signs of the Day of judgement said: “… and Allah will send Ya’jooj and Ma’jooj, swiftly swarming from every mound. They will pass the lake of Tiberias [in Palestine] and will drink everything that is in it. Then the last of them will pass by and will say, ‘There used to be water here once.’ The Prophet of Allah, Eesaa (Jesus), and his companions, will be besieged until a bull’s head will be more precious to one of them than a hundred dinars are to any of you today. Eesaa (Jesus) and his companions will pray to Allah, and Allah will send a kind of worm (like that found in the noses of camels and sheep) on their (Ya’jooj and Ma’jooj) necks, and they will fall down dead, all at once. Then Eesaa (Jesus) and his companions will come down out of the place where they were besieged, and they will find hardly a hand span of land that is not filled with the stench (of Ya’jooj and Ma’jooj), so Eesaa (Jesus) and his companions will pray to Allah, and He will send birds like the necks of camels to carry them away and throw them wherever Allah wills.” (Reported by Muslim, 18/68).
After the end of Gog Magog, the other signs of the arrival of day of judgment will come shortly one after another till the trumpet will be blown and the world in its present state will end.

As far as the Juggul and Maguul, I understand the 'KJV' translation of Revelation (which book was written far earlier than of the NT, @500 BC) was incorrect, that the "name of the beast" should've been translated "multitude". It was also seen that John did not see numbers, but symbols. These are thought to represent Islam, Nazism, and Communism, the vile forms of political machinations. I don't see how the world maintains it's hatred of each other, we're all in this together, and it is far easier to do without conflict than with.

The Story of Yajuj and Majuj (Gog and Magog) :
1- Who are the Yajuj and Majuj (Gog and Magog)? :
The story of Yajuj and Majuj is stated both in the Quran and hadith. Their appearance will be one of the signs of the end times. These events will transpire after the arrival of Dajjal, Mehdi and Eesaa (alaihi salam). Both Quran and the hadith have clearly mentioned their existence, arrival and the aftermath of their arrival.
Gog and Magog (pronounced as “Gog u-Magog” in Hebrew and “Yajuj amd Majuj” in Arabic) are names that appear in the Old Testament, and in the Quran. Although they are sometimes individuals, sometimes peoples, and sometimes geographic regions, their reference in the Quran and hadith clearly indicates that they are people numerous in number who will appear toward end of times.
2- Origin of Yajuj and Majuj (Gog and Magog) :
According to ahadith, Gog and Magog are from among the children of Adam (alaihis salaam) and they will be numerous in number. Ibn Kathir states in his books that they are from among Prophet Nuh’s (alaihis salaam) offspring as Allah Almighty has mentioned in his glorious Quran:
“Then We saved him and those with him in the ship” (Al-‘Ankabut, 15),
“And, his progeny, them We made the survivors” (As-Saffat, 77).
According to these verses, the survivors of the flood were only the progeny of Prophet Nuh (alaihis salaam) and no one else. Accordingly, the Gog and Magog come from the same progeny. A Hadith transmitted in Imam Ahmed’s Musnad and the Sunan of Abu Dawud states that there were three sons born to Prophet Nuh: Shem, Ham and Japheth. Shem was the father of the Arabs; Ham was the father of the Sudanese; and Japheth was the father of the Turks. According to the descriptions narrated by ahadith, Gog and Magog belong to the Turkic Mongol race, have small eyes, small flat noses and wide faces. Their faces look like hammered-out shields (their faces are likened to shields because they are wide and round).
3- The Arrival of Yajuj and Majuj (Gog and Magog) :
According to the Quran, they will be set loose shortly before the arrival of the Day of Judgment as Allah Almighty has mentioned:
“Until, when Ya’jooj and Ma’jooj are let loose (from their barrier), and they swiftly swarm from every mound. And the true promise (Day of Resurrection) shall draw near (to fulfillment)…” [Surah al-Anbiyaa:96-97]
4- The barrier separating Yajuj and Majuj from people :
Allah Almighty clearly informed His Prophet (S.A.W.S) that Yajuj and Majuj will be from among the people of Hell and that their nature denies the truth and submission to it, as they will not respond to the caller till the Day of Judgment.
It is stated in the Holy Quran that Allah has held Yajuj and Majuj behind a barrier that was created with iron and copper by Dhoo’l-Qarnayn.
Allaah Almighty tells us (interpretation of the meaning): “Then he followed (another) way, until, when he reached between two mountains, he found, before (near) them (those two mountains), a people who scarcely understood a word. They said: ‘O Dhoo’l-Qarnayn! Verily! Ya’jooj and Ma’jooj are doing great mischief in the land. Shall we then pay you a tribute in order that you might erect a barrier between us and them?’ He said: ‘That (wealth, authority and power) in which my Lord has established me is better (than your tribute). So help me with strength (of men), I will erect between you and them a barrier. Give me pieces (blocks) or iron,’ then, when he had filled up the gap between the two mountain-cliffs, he said, ‘Blow,’ till when he had made it (red as) fire, he said, ‘Bring me molten copper to pour over it.’ So they [Ya’jooj and Ma’jooj] were made powerless to scale it or dig through it. (Dhoo’l-Qarnayn) said: ‘This is a mercy from my Lord, but when the Promise of my Lord comes, He shall level it down to the ground. And the Promise of my Lord is ever true.’ And on that Day [i.e., the day Ya’jooj and Ma’jooj will come out], We shall leave them to surge like waves on one another, and the Trumpet will be blown, and We shall collect them all together.” [Surah al-Kahf 18:92-99]
Imam Al-Bukhari transmitted in his Sahih the following Hadith: A man told the Prophet (S.A.W.S) that he had seen the dam of Gog and Magog. The Prophet (S.A.W.S) asked: “How did you find it?” The man said: “I found it like Al-Burd Al-Muhabbar (striped garments).” The Prophet (S.A.W.S) said: “You have seen it.”

Ask someone today if they are saved and
you will most likely hear responses like these:
“I have accepted Jesus into my heart.” Or “I
have made him Lord of my life.” “I’ve been
baptized.” “I said a prayer.” Sounds all good
and churchy don’t it; but it is difficult to de-termine whether or not a person actually
knows the gospel that saves them. These useless phrases don’t describe a thing about what
the gospel is and has left a devastating effect
of people not knowing what it is that they are
saved from nor how they are saved; which
leaves a more serious effect of people questioning their salvation.
Let’s not muddy the simplicity of salvation that is in Christ with vague church
sounding phrases that do not communicate
anything. But rather present God’s word with
clarity and assuredness. So here is the gospel:

Sin was passed upon all men by one man
Adam, and death is a consequence of this sin
(Rom 5:12). Mankind has an eternal destiny of
condemnation and wrath - Hell - because of

works one might do we are still found sinners
in the sight of our Creator God. And all unrighteousness and those who follow get indignation and wrath. We cannot be found
righteous for by God’s law we are found sinners (Rom 3:19-20). If we have broken even

create our own righteousness and being born
in a sinful flesh that we need a savior (Titus
3:5). Christ is that Savior, God manifested in
the flesh, sinless, died in our place on a cross

and judgement that was intended for us sinners. And it is through his bloodshed, burial,
and resurrection on our behalf that we are
able to have peace with God and forgiveness

news is unto all but only those that believe in
it are made righteous in Christ (Romans
3:22).
It is then after we have heard this good
news of Christ’s righteousness available to us freely, that we are sealed with the Holy Spirit
and we are now part of Christ’s body the
church (Eph 1:13)
There is nothing that we need to do, no
good works that are required, and no bad
works that can separate us from our new position in Christ (Romans 8:35-39).
Faith and belief in this information from

A Hadith transmitted in Imam Ahmed’s Musnad and the Sunan of Abu Dawud states that there were three sons born to Prophet Nuh: Shem, Ham and Japheth. Shem was the father of the Arabs; Ham was the father of the Sudanese; and Japheth was the father of the Turks. According to the descriptions narrated by ahadith, Gog and Magog belong to the Turkic Mongol race, have small eyes, small flat noses and wide faces. Their faces look like hammered-out shields (their faces are likened to shields because they are wide and round).
3- The Arrival of Yajuj and Majuj (Gog and Magog) :
According to the Quran, they will be set loose shortly before the arrival of the Day of Judgment as Allah Almighty has mentioned:
“Until, when Ya’jooj and Ma’jooj are let loose (from their barrier), and they swiftly swarm from every mound. And the true promise (Day of Resurrection) shall draw near (to fulfillment)…” [Surah al-Anbiyaa:96-97]
4- The barrier separating Yajuj and Majuj from people :
Allah Almighty clearly informed His Prophet (S.A.W.S) that Yajuj and Majuj will be from among the people of Hell and that their nature denies the truth and submission to it, as they will not respond to the caller till the Day of Judgment.
It is stated in the Holy Quran that Allah has held Yajuj and Majuj behind a barrier that was created with iron and copper by Dhoo’l-Qarnayn.
Allaah Almighty tells us (interpretation of the meaning): “Then he followed (another) way, until, when he reached between two mountains, he found, before (near) them (those two mountains), a people who scarcely understood a word. They said: ‘O Dhoo’l-Qarnayn! Verily! Ya’jooj and Ma’jooj are doing great mischief in the land. Shall we then pay you a tribute in order that you might erect a barrier between us and them?’ He said: ‘That (wealth, authority and power) in which my Lord has established me is better (than your tribute). So help me with strength (of men), I will erect between you and them a barrier. Give me pieces (blocks) or iron,’ then, when he had filled up the gap between the two mountain-cliffs, he said, ‘Blow,’ till when he had made it (red as) fire, he said, ‘Bring me molten copper to pour over it.’ So they [Ya’jooj and Ma’jooj] were made powerless to scale it or dig through it. (Dhoo’l-Qarnayn) said: ‘This is a mercy from my Lord, but when the Promise of my Lord comes, He shall level it down to the ground. And the Promise of my Lord is ever true.’ And on that Day [i.e., the day Ya’jooj and Ma’jooj will come out], We shall leave them to surge like waves on one another, and the Trumpet will be blown, and We shall collect them all together.” [Surah al-Kahf 18:92-99]
Imam Al-Bukhari transmitted in his Sahih the following Hadith: A man told the Prophet (S.A.W.S) that he had seen the dam of Gog and Magog. The Prophet (S.A.W.S) asked: “How did you find it?” The man said: “I found it like Al-Burd Al-Muhabbar (striped garments).” The Prophet (S.A.W.S) said: “You have seen it.”
In Ibn Jarir’s exegesis of the Qur’an, it was reported by Qatadah that when the man told the Prophet (S.A.W.S) that he had seen the dam of Gog and Magog and was asked to describe it, he said: ‘It looked like striped garments, with red and black stripes.’ The Prophet (S.A.W.S) said: “You have seen it.”
It is said that the Caliph, Al-Wathiq, sent some messengers with messages to different kings to ask them to travel from one country to another till they reached the dam and affirmed its reality. When they came back to the Caliph, they described it to him saying that it has a huge door with many locks. It was very high and the remnants of its building materials and tools were kept there in a tower. Also, there were still guards keeping an eye on it. They added that its location was on the north-east side of the earth. It was also said that their land was very spacious and that they lived on farming and hunting and that their numbers were countless.
A prophetic Hadith is transmitted by Imam Al- Bukhari and Imam Muslim on the authority of Mother of the Believers, Zainab Bint Jahsh (May Allah be pleased with her) that the Prophet (S.A.W.S) once came to her in a state of fear and said: “None has the right to be worshipped but Allah. Woe unto the Arabs from a danger that has come near. An opening has been made in the wall of Gog and Magog like this,” making a circle with his thumb and index finger. Zainab Bint Jahsh said: “O Allah’s Messenger! Shall we be destroyed even though there are pious persons among us?” He said: “Yes, when the evil persons will increase.” And in another narration the Prophet (S.A.W.S) said: “Allah has made an opening in the wall of the Gog and Magog (people) like this, and he made with his hand (with the help of his fingers)” (Al-Bukhari and Muslim).
This could be an indication of the opening of gates of evil and turmoil and the possibility of Gog and Magog invading with the permission of Allah Almighty.
Another Hadith is narrated by Imam Ahmed in his Musnad that the Prophet (S.A.W.S) said: “Verily, Gog and Magog dig through the dam every day, till they could see the sun rays (through it), and their leader would say: ‘Go back and you will finish it tomorrow.’ On the next day, they find it as strong as before. Till when their appointed term comes and Allah desires to send them against mankind, they dig it till they could see the sun rays (through it) and their leader says: ‘Go back and you will finish it tomorrow, if Allah wills!’ On the next day, they find it as they had left the day before and they dig through it and come against mankind. They will drink (every drop of water they pass by). The people will resort to strongholds. And, Gog and Magog will throw their arrows towards the sky. When they come back to them stained with what looks like blood, they will say: ‘We have defeated the people on earth and those in the heaven as well.’ Then, Allah the Almighty will send against them worms in their necks that will kill them all. Allah’s Messenger (S.A.W.S) said: “By Him in Whose Hand Muhammed’s soul rests! Living creatures of the earth would go fat and be thankful due to eating their flesh and (drinking their) blood.” (Also transmitted by Imam Ahmed on the authority of Hasan Ibn Musa after Sufyan after Qatadah and by At-Tirmidhi on the authority of Abu, Awanah after Qatadah.)
5- Destruction and death of Yajuj and Majuj by Eesa (Jesus):
After Prophet Jesus (Eesa) (P.B.U.H) will kill the Dajjal (Anti-Christ), Allah will inform him about the arrival of this disbelieving tribe that is undefeated and he will take refuge in the Mount of Toor until Allah will destroy them.
Al-Nawaas ibn Sam’aan (may Allah be pleased with him) reported that Prophet (peace and blessings of Allah be upon him), wile describing the signs of the Day of judgement said: “… and Allah will send Ya’jooj and Ma’jooj, swiftly swarming from every mound. They will pass the lake of Tiberias [in Palestine] and will drink everything that is in it. Then the last of them will pass by and will say, ‘There used to be water here once.’ The Prophet of Allah, Eesaa (Jesus), and his companions, will be besieged until a bull’s head will be more precious to one of them than a hundred dinars are to any of you today. Eesaa (Jesus) and his companions will pray to Allah, and Allah will send a kind of worm (like that found in the noses of camels and sheep) on their (Ya’jooj and Ma’jooj) necks, and they will fall down dead, all at once. Then Eesaa (Jesus) and his companions will come down out of the place where they were besieged, and they will find hardly a hand span of land that is not filled with the stench (of Ya’jooj and Ma’jooj), so Eesaa (Jesus) and his companions will pray to Allah, and He will send birds like the necks of camels to carry them away and throw them wherever Allah wills.” (Reported by Muslim, 18/68).
After the end of Gog Magog, the other signs of the arrival of day of judgment will come shortly one after another till the trumpet will be blown and the world in its present state will end.

Magog and Gog in the Old Testament were two cities who Ezekiel prophesied, in Ezekiel 38-40. The story of Yajuj and Majuj is stated both in the Quran and hadith. Their appearance will be one of the signs of the end times. These events will transpire after the arrival of Dajjal, Mehdi and Eesaa (alaihi salam). Both Quran and the hadith have clearly mentioned their existence, arrival and the aftermath of their arrival.
Gog and Magog (pronounced as “Gog u-Magog” in Hebrew and “Yajuj amd Majuj” in Arabic) are names that appear in the Old Testament, and in the Quran. Although they are sometimes individuals, sometimes peoples, and sometimes geographic regions, their reference in the Quran and hadith clearly indicates that they are people numerous in number who will appear toward end of times.
2- Origin of Yajuj and Majuj (Gog and Magog) :
According to ahadith, Gog and Magog are from among the children of Adam (alaihis salaam) and they will be numerous in number. Ibn Kathir states in his books that they are from among Prophet Nuh’s (alaihis salaam) offspring as Allah Almighty has mentioned in his glorious Quran:
