Hiya Andrew, I bought the R36S for about £35. It runs EmulationStation under Arkos 2.0 and is quite a bargain. it doesn't have built in WIFI but you can plug in a wifi adapter throught the USB-C OTG port and it's fine. it's a similar screen size to your RG35XX and it has 2 analog sticks. I just play ScummVM games on it and I managed to port Stardew Valley onto it using Portmaster
Enjoyed this while procrastinating from stuff I need to do haha! Thanks for sharing! What do you think of the buttons and d-pad? Feel nice like a gameboy? Smooshy or clicky?
Blazing Star is a great game! I remember grabbing the rom for that game over dialup back in the day and it took like 8 hours to get. Was well worth it though! It is one of the games I would get a real NeoGeo for if I had the cash!
I can see your point of view, but they're is something to be said for something that just works. I've invited people around for a neo geo party and have it fizz out after two minutes isn't fun 😱
@@backofficeshow no just game boy and game boy color as it playes real carts.if im wanting other stuff to play at the moment in using my rg arc d.these rg5355 systems are fantastic value for money but made sure you swap out the second sd card for a better one before the supplied one fails
You would not have really thought a few years ago that they would get so cheap and performant. Funnily enough I was just thinking of over if the first of these I bought, I think it was called a Dingoo, I recall watching movies on it and on a TV as it had AV out. That was probably twenty years ago
@@backofficeshow I still have my Dingoo A320 up and running from 2009.. I guess? It was amazing for the time. But I just bought a 35xx Plus and wow. It is trully amazing.
Your videos seem to cost me money........
Once you get that ZX Spectrum core loaded, you'll forget about the cost 🤣
Did it arrive yet?!
i ordered one last night. excited to toss one in my bag for the day.
Been using mine today on the move, glad to have it with me!
I have the Anbernic rg353v the next step up with more power and love it. Been playing through the old Donkey Kong Country games on SNES.
I will look into it!

Sounds awesome! There seem to be so many similar devices out there, plenty to choose from!
Pocket Simon the sorcerer would be great! 🤣

It's hard to quantify, but I'd say, they feel fine 🤣

I have a real neo geo, it's a pain in the bum and forever breaking down 🤣 not recommended
Breaking down is part of the fun of old consoles! I have more fun fixing them than actually playing them these days.

Understandable. For me my retro game collection is purely for me since most people I know are into modern stuff.
Teardown when? 😁
Soon!!
How do people in UK buy stuff off AliExpress? Always says can't ship to your country🤔
I guess they ship most things to the UK?
EDIT Just installed app and can order. Yeah I'm an idiot. Now do I buy one to go along all the other shelfware🤔 £42 think yes😄
Of course the cupboard of shame needs new things to hide
i was tempted by one of these but bought a fpga gbc instead for £65
Can you run anything else, or only GBC?
