A bass drum with BOOM! I love bass drums where the resonnance isn't all muffled away.

This is actually the Bop Kit... The bigger sizes have the "virgin" bass drum.

The heads that come on these, USA Remos? Or UT's?

I didn't knew Jesus could play so good. And had a partnership with DW. But that would explain why they are the best drums in the world. (By the way, I'm not making fun of Jesus, I'm a christian myself)

sounds great. what kind of preamps/processing was used on the audio? The only thing about this kit that concerns me is that the hoops seem to rise above the head more than your traditional steel hoops would. How much of a technique adjustment does this represent, if any?

    • @dwdrums
      @dwdrums  4 года назад +2

no major adjustments. Pretty much every drummer that plays these kits feels right at home, almost immediately. Thanks

Can you find someone who can bring a different feel and diversity to these videos?
A woman ?Somone of color ?Something ..DW is really not showing us much as far as diversity and I’m really sick of these same hipster drum jocks doing every tech thing in the world but laying down pocket..
    Cmon..
The best thing about the 80’s was the dynamic in type of player and type of music and this is just getting to be trendy for the sake of the hipster mafia..
Have someone over 35 laying down some butter with a band.
    Enough..
And by the way I have two of these kits in the other finishes that I love but this presentation might has well have been a man bun convention..
I love the kits but at this point I will be heading to something that acknowledges that there are a wide variety of players out there thatbdeserve a chance to be heard and promoted..
Between these two dudes playing the PDP wood hoop kits the only difference is the tee shirt..
    Had to say it.
    Stand by it..
    You know it’s true too..
    Bring it..

do i see someone confusing diversity with forced racebait?
the people dw tend to get in to demo their drums *are* diverse, but in different ways than just physical attributes. musically, almost all of their styles are massively different, and you should be able to see that.
when people are demoing instruments, thats *way* more important than what they look like.

No,actually you don’t seem to know what your talking about and save the hipster sacrasm for your girlfriend ..
That’s what cowards like yourself do..
Misdirecting and insulting a way around a valid point made..
They don’t address the issue however valid but instead play low ball trying to be insulting and sarcastic so save your nonsense ..
The point is evident and more than obviously valid ..

Furthermore a basic lack of cultural diversity is way more embarrassing when it becomes
Bigger than the product being pushed as I becomes a distraction in its complete exclusion of the rest of the cultural musical world..
Go study race and branding as well as segregation and advertising as propaganda and then get back in touch buddy..
Spent 8 years studying both and hold two masters and a doctorate on the subject and people should acknowledge what they are seeing and not be swayed by the insults to a persons intelligence or point which is exactly what you went for.
      Textbook and telling.
      Peace..
