Some context to this band for those who doesn't know: I believe Manuel who is the lead in the band said that their music is based on the idea of 'what if the black slaves in america started to worship satan instead of god'. And if I remember correctly, this was a challenge he accepted from a thread on 4chan.

I always got that vibes specially on the devil is fine album, now it kind of makes sense name of the album and the style some moment's defo took me back to those momments where slaves would sing to make the fucking slavery go away for awhile.

@@maggiefox6105 totally agree with you & thanks for clarifying also! I couldn't remember 100% if it was 4chan or not but I knew it was some online forum. reddit actually makes more sense now that I think about it

A little pointer here. When Zeal & Ardor played in Gothenburg they had Mass Worship as opener. Manuel clearly got inspired byt MW, who are combining some sort of a mix between Entombed and Meshuggah, a fucking crusher of a band and this sort of a steam engine train just pounding on in different kind of tempos. Manuel is excellent of finding inspiration and implementing it in his music. But if one likes this, check out Mass Worship from Sweden.

Zeal & Ardor's Live in London album is absolutely astounding, check it out. There is more engaging material from them for sure. Highlights include Baphomet, Blood in the River, and Come on Down. Cheers for the review.

Saw Z&A when they toured with "Stranger Fruit" and they blew my mind. If you dont saw them live, you need to.

As a guitar player my ear was trying to find the one while listening to Clawing out and that made it interesting; especially when a lot of new music is anything but. I was hoping someone would do a reaction to Clawing out. Sub earned. Cheers!

Hey guys, I know it's kinda old news now but it would be dope if you guys checked out "Pariah" by Project 86. the short of it is "Old band - Completely new sound".

Both the video and the song look/sound like they're going to be a part of something bigger, almost like a spooky trailer vibe that will later gain more meaning when listened to in context

Song seems really ambitious but niche structurally. Once you hear it enough it will lose its charm I think. But the dark vibes are immaculate
