Mad respect to perkz for mentioning that his past bot laners influenced how he plays, even if they didn’t reach their goals
No matter what elo you play in, no matter what region you live in, no matter what team you support.

it feel unreal. yes, i always never thought of G2 would win worlds, and im really sure that they lose and learn for next year. But never in my mind it was FPX, i think its gonna be IG or SKT T1 and lose in very unsatisfying way possible in grand final match, purely stomped. Well hope they learn from this, at least give us BO5/BO4

Will never forget Game 5 G2 vs RNG. Probably the single biggest midlane carry I have ever seen. At the very least, the biggest Leblanc I've ever seen
I watched one video about RNG after they are eliminated... Xiaohu really regretted that he didn't play any carry champ in worlds (yes.. he is actually a good assassin/bruiser player as well). I remember he said "even I want to play Le Blanc in worlds too"

@@dominiclewis6522 Nope, I was there. Even attended worlds that season. Difference between then and now, is that the competition is so much harder. Everyone knows about waves, matchups and teamfighting way better than 7 years ago, making Perkz's performance far more impressive
Jack Wood its not harder now, its just different, now professional games last around 20-30mins, before it was 30 mins on the regular, to me it takes more effort to win a s3 game than a s10 one, nowdays everyone can get a lead early and snowball till victory, its just who gets the first good advantage wins the game if they do not throw by greeding, meanwhile before you could get a good advantage but not being able to win for how the pace of the game was, you could always turn an advantage into nothing and let the enemy team overscale you. To me no midlaner has ever come close to 2013/15/16 faker, no matter the champ, just faker you know
@@dominiclewis6522 i know this comment is 5 months old but kinda wanna say it. faker was so impressiv because he was so FAR ahead he wasnt a year ahead he was 3 years ahead it feels like. He just was so mutch better. But now everybody has catched up. And faker still is good but his lead isnt relevant anymore it feels like. So i think Perkz playing so well against the best team in the world at the time feels bigger to me.

Perkz is unique. He has incredible maturity, ownership of responsibility and wisdom for his age. Some excellent leadership qualities that will help him succeed in anything he puts some effort in.

I mean that series against RNG was one of the best preformances of any player in League history. I remember watching it live and even though I wasn't a G2 fan they certainly made me believe.

@@wrythe9146 G2 vs RNG 2018 Worlds Quarterfinals It was mentioned in the video, RNG went into the series as extremely heavy favorites. No one gave G2 the benefit of the doubt but perkz turned on full gear and carried G2 completing probably the best underdog story in worlds history

Not going to lie, I hated Perkz when I first saw him Internationally, laughing while losing on stage on the first MSI. But he matured in a way that nobody saw coming. The Best European player of LoL.

Looking at what the commentators, analysts and viewers say these days I feel like people in general and sometimes even LEC fans forget the beasts this region has produced. Perkz is one of them like the rest of the G2 or Fnatic squad. Rogue also have some beasts of their own. I still have faith in LEC's chances for winning worlds. I'm hoping to say "EZ CLAP" after the first games on Saturday and Sunday and keep on repeating it like a mantra throughout the tournament.

The G2 line up sure looks stronger than ever. Although they can be shaky at times, it just proves that there's a room for improvement and the teams are starting to change for the better.
Their loss on Grand finals was sad, but this year might be different. The meta shift and T1 is hungry looking for revenge. Although I'm a fan of both teams, I'll give a slighter edge on T1. With bad drafts, they still manage to be patient and wait for the enemy to make mistakes and punish them. Although I don't want to be think ahead, I think the role swap did a lot of bad more than good. I'd like to see Uma Jan back in the bot lane again

It always confuses me when people say Caps or Rekkles is the best European player of all time, when it's actually Perkz and it isn't even close. Sure the other two might be better at certain things than Perkz but he is the complete package. Mechanical god, meta changing ingenuity, tilt proof and a phenomenal team captain.
