That's why there is a button for muting a specific chat from someone on most apps. Let them blow that phone and ignore it. If they blow it up asking questions, they have to pay for consultation.
I was a reader and quit, I’ve tried to make a come back but it’s not happening. I quit because of the obsessed clients. The dark obsessions I seen was brutal. I also became very Ill. Mentally and physically. Since I’ve tried coming back (because I really do want to help people) but I can’t get out there. It’s like I’m shadow banned. But I think it’s a sign saying I’m not meant for this. But my gift is there. I was pretty successful in the beginning. Idk. I’m trying to find out.

one moment that has burned itself into my mind in middleschool when I was always filled with social anxiety and depression. so it was a school dance when some girls I knew but rarely talked to, approached me saying they didn't have enough for their friend to get into the dance and said they'd like me to join them too, so I like the needy barnacle of a person I am, agreed and paid with no hesitation. we get in, I buy sodas for everyone and I'm following them around like a duckling for a few mintues before one girl turned and went 'wait are you actually gonna hang onto us this whole dance?" and bruh the faces the others made, I waved it off like 'oh I am just gonna go off and dance then' but yeah went to the bathroom and sobbed. some other people i sorta knew did invite me to dance and hangout for real but that was such an awful, heart crunching moment that i hate even thinking about it

Man I resonate with Amelia sooooo much. People seem to be intimidated by me and make this persona up about me that isn’t true. I used to be more social but as the years went by and so many betrayals happened plus I’m suffering from cptsd from my abusive marriage so now I have social anxiety (just got over my agoraphobia ). I’m healing and just being patient and enjoying my own company and getting closer with God. I think God wants me isolated to have an even closer relationship with him. I understand where Amelia was coming from. At one point I wanted to be friends with my therapist, but I knew in all actuality that she wasn't my friend. This was such a wonderful story, and I'm so happy that Amelia found that friend she was looking for, and I still have hopes for myself. Also, you're a great storyteller.
Learned this lesson the hard way and Ima teach it the hard way to anybody who books with me and has unclear intentions. If you want a friendship, set that expectation and be honest. Nobody should feel like they have to book a service to have a friendship! I’ve had more than one person use readings as a gateway into having a friendship or other non-consented relations with me. I fell for it twice & got wrapped up in their mess of life, but never again. Boundaries boundaries boundaries. Home girl simply needed to elevate from booking readings to seeing a licensed therapist / psychologist or doing both. But glad it had a happy ending! Nice story time 💖

@@pamsunshine9233 those with a platform often go through a phase of having an ego where they feel energetically “above” others…and if that’s not the case, their followers see them more like deities or saints therefore it’s hard to feel like your supporters are equal’s because they project perfection on them. So basically either the spiritual leader is separating themselves from their own community or their community puts them on a pedestal to the point they feel like they can’t be themselves. This is just my observation and opinion of course

I’ve had to create boundaries with clients as a tarot reader. Some people are really hurting and will cling to you if you’re not careful. I definitely understood where Leroy’s uncle was coming from.
It’s hard because you want to help, but people have to have the will to help themselves 🥹

I have few friends like that one I've met but the other I've never met but we're so close to each other. She's told me things her family doesn't know. We met in an Ifa group. I totally understand that kind of loneliness. I feel for Amelia. I find it hard to find people who I can talk to because people think I'm weird. Even my family. I am the black sheep. It's hard to find people who are spiritual, fun, and don't want to use your gifts for their benefit. I tried those things too like Amelia and learned the hard way. That's when my journey to self-love truly began.

That’s why I like tarot. It’s up to interpretation based off where your spirit is at and your acts will reveal whether your intentions were aligned with the energy you chose to put out going forth. It’s a cheat sheet but you’re not guaranteed anything and you have to make it work for you.
My friend that's into spirituality isn't in my life yet, however I have my childhood friends that haven't really grown up, and they're clicked up, so I don't really consider them as my tribe. I know it'll happen. Until then I'll keep fine tuning my personality 🙂💞 this story reassured me big time.

I totally get not having friends and yearning for that friendship, even with a significant other you are still not friends. I got spinal meningitis at an early age so my life was altered forever and you learn very early that wanting to belong so bad people will use the heck out of you for everything their jokes, money, whatever u have to offer because u want the friendship so bad you are willing to be disrespected. So I totally get yearning for friendship and having to be extremely careful and strategic to find them
This is a good reminder for me to keep my boundaries. People often cross those boundaries and I eventually cut them off. I need to work on firmly stating my boundaries and realizing the point when a person overstep. Thanks for the lesson ❤️
Girl the people who literally are overly reliant on tarot, psychics, it can get overwhelming. We’re all adults and you have to know how to make decisions and trust yourself not constantly leaning on psychics to help you for every little thing.

After 20yrs of these kind of experiences, I finally learned to tell folks that I do Tarot Translations (meaning that I don't "read." I "listen" to the communication that is happening between Client & Spirit, and translate those messages. Changing that one word changed everything for me. It gave me permission to professionally detach.

Why did I end up crying? Beautiful ending. I definitely know that feeling of wanting a friend, I felt lost when I moved to Illinois, I've moved my entire life (my dad is retired army.) One of the first connections I made was with a reader, he has passed away now, but I wish I had the words to explain his energy, his touch when he read my palms, the energy he brought to the study group he started and I attended. Leroy sounds like a beautiful person, and I'm happy for everyone here. The world can be such a small place sometimes, but when you're aligned with yourself and Spirit, your guides, it is truly vast and beautiful. Trust the process. Bless
This reminds me of the dynamic common with sex workers where men will pay these sex workers but instead of doing anything sexual they talk and have emotional intimacy. These sex workers are oftentimes very attuned to others so this oftentimes extends to the emotional realm and they end up caretaking emotionally.
The movie punch drunk love shows this dynamic but it is very common from what I’ve heard! 😥
It’s too bad that this happens, people are so starved of emotional intimacy that it gets sought out in contexts where there’s a power imbalance. 💭
I’ve had some of this happen with therapists… so I stopped going to therapy and slowly I’m making friends again 😅

this was such a good story...thanx for sharing...yes its hard being the outcast and ppl bc of their own insecurities will find any reason to shun you...i moved from another state at 6/7 yrs old and those kids always looked at me as different....and i was the only child ...with no cousins my age in the new place...so this story hit home...when you're yound it important to learn social skills bc its hard to adopt those skills as you get older...i think i always wreaked of desperation and ppl knew this...lol ppl can sense when you are hungry for engagement and attention... now i set boundaries and have learn to let ppl go who mean me no good or who dont exchange the same energy i give off

I myself got emotional.....I lost my friends when I went through a big court thing and I asked them to stand up and talk about my character, 2 days before they were supposed speak about my character they changed their minds as they didnt want to put themselves through the stress. I will mention that I had been in a major car accident hit by a 17 yr old girl who had been text messaging and she was also under the influence. I just wanted my friends to be my friends and they couldnt even stand up for me and speak about who I was as a person and so forth.
I even withdrew from making friends as I felt as though I couldnt trust anyone since I had known these girls all my life.
I would LOVE to have a dear friend like that would call me so we could chat about ANYTHING...and vice versa! If you are looking for a true friend....we need to all connect....maybe even in a group chat? Would anyone even be interested in that?

I had a client who has since become a very close friend, I no longer provide services to her though for that very reason. I chose to be a friend with her over having her as a client.
I do readings and yes at first I'd be talking to people for hours! I had some try and get readings 3 times a week I had to explain to give time in between.. You have to set boundaries as well you learn as you go
