The Hanzo Mythic is criminally short changed. I get that there already is a lot there, but at least give him some head variations and one more bow variant.

i personally think what makes a mythic a mythic and not just a "nice legendary" is the fact you can customize it. otherwise, its just a fancy legendary
While this is true, it's also an indictment of the poor state of Overwatch cosmetics. Changing the colours of our skin shouldn't be some hyper-rare, exclusive thing. If Blizzard actually cared to give players decent customisation, they could have made the skins tintable from the start. Colour masks are not new technology. It's absolutely ridiculous that I can pay €10 for a Warframe skin and be allowed to customise it across four colour channels, plus glowy bits, plus visual effect colours... While Overwatch charges me for the same skin but in blue.
@@Malidictusnot to mention for all of them except heirlooms you can get those skins and colors with premium currency traded for in game, so not once do you actually need to spend money.
The Winston victory pose was already an emote.

I like that they finally bumped the credits to the 2nd reward on that tier. It was really weird that some of these filler tiers were more excited to show you 100 credits instead of a piece of art that was specifically made for the battle pass.
There was a short period where I didn't even realize I was getting a reward outside of the credits because of that.
My guess was it was to try to trick people into thinking they are the gold credits

The mythic skin's visuals and sounds are really awesome, probably the best ones for a mythic skin but the lack of customization is really bad, thats the whole point of these mythic skins
I think the soldier skin is a reference to the fact we are clowns for buying this battle pass even though we dont care

Ohhhh. The Mythic skin only being final tier and not being earlier all makes sense seeing how little customisation there is. I wonder if this will be the way it is going forward of whether we'll see the next skin at different levels of the battle pass. Big shame there isn't more customisation though. It wouldn't have required much to have a couple of head variations and to swap out the shoulder pad/sleeve.
So, Hanzo has this voice line: "expect nothing less". We finally discovered that there was a missing comma there. It should be "expect nothing, less".
Next season we’ll only be able to change the color of it lol

I do like the skins, but it's not enough to bring me back to the game. The fact that they're trying to give the people still playing some value for their money is a nice change of pace. Makes me wonder if they're going to put less focus on the game in the future though since it's uncommon for them to try.

Genji now has a focus highlight intro similar to Zenyatta's and Rammattra's. I'm not sure if they're trying to show the relationship/parallels between Zen, Genji and Ram, or if they're just trying to give the heroes all similar intros.

I think for a £10 the battle pass is alright value. Especially when it's themed well like this. The only thing it needs is premium currency.
@@BikeeMikee oh. Yeah. That should definitely be a thing. Even if you don't get the premium currency "out of season" you should definitely be able to play through and unlock the stuff in the battle pass you paid form
The only let down from the battlepass in my opinion is the lack of customization for the Hanzo mythic skin, I waited until the end to see it and yes its acceptable and I'll still be buying it as a hanzo main, though honestly I expected this their of skin rarity to match the same customization capabilities the other skin releases received. They need to consider adding more to all mythical skins, I know the community will be happy about it and voice the gratitude via social media, blizzard can do this, I believe in the staff at ow2, they are awesome and look forward to more detailed releases for mythical, because this is a clear "everyone can see the issue" moment, though once more we all praise the skin details and design, we acknowledge the elephant in the room and voice that in hopes it will get noticed & changed.
Not the only let down. The major disappointment is that you still cannot earn back the credits you spent on the battlepass
Damn all I wanted was the Ashe skin. So I can either spend 10$ on 8 skins plus a bunch of stuff. Or 20$ for 1 skin I actually want... I'll just wait and hope it will cost legacy credits one day
Eh I feel the Tracer mythic battle pass was the best one they did. Lots of skins were themed, Tracers mythic was awesome, and the skins we got in it were definitely MUCH better then the store ones (orisa, mei, genji), and I mean that Demon King Rein skin was damn near as good as most mythic skins.

Quite disappointed at the ho-hum mythic, but overall? HUGE quality leap for the BP. Easily the best so far, but more options for Onryo Hanzo would have made it just about impossible to top.

It’s unfortunate cause this is probably Hanzo’s best skin in my opinion but the immense lack of customisation makes it the worst mythic in my eyes in terms of what we were told Mythics are supposed to be. Worst part there are easy parts of the skin you could have given options. The shoulder armour for example would’ve been easy. Or maybe some hairstyles. Really disappointed and I hope this isn’t the future for mythic skins

I think souvenirs would be a lot more useful if they were like a victory pose that you could customise personally.
an extra bow, maybe also changing the quiver based on the bow type and maybe horns, sizes/ designs? there really is a lot there so I don't expect them to have more tops or legs, as I do understand how hard it is to do so.

The mythic isn't a let down tbh. It still looks incredible and has way more complex weapon designs then previous ones.
I will say I hope they consider adding more color pallets for free in the future for all mythics.

Remember everyone, They claimed mythic skins take a year to make. All 6 possible combinations of this skin took 2 months each apparently.

I think it's wild that Hanzo is lacking anything extra. In all fairness I loved Ana's 3 skin options, but I wouldn't expect that kind of quality and quantity again. That said, Blizzard should at least let the man change his shoulder guard lol
can you showcase the audiovisual effects of the mythic skin? those are usually the coolest parts
I love how Overwatch always has amazing Halloween skins. The fact some really good ones are in the battlepass is a VERY welcome surprise.
I started playing Overwatch during the first Halloween event in 2016 and every time Halloween comes to Overwatch I get so nostalgic. Definitely my favorite time to play the game
The Widowmaker skin makes me want to learn Widow.
The Baptiste highlight intro is a hommage/ easter egg to death stranding.
I would take the one base skin if it came with actual first person animations like those that have been teased or fan made (for the mythic skin I mean)
I think its also the first battlepass to have all the skin involved in it to be within the theme and not some random out lying skin that were shoved in to fill what they obviously took out to put into the shop bundles. So good on that so very simple task of effort.
Also I think if they want to keep souvenirs they should at least tie them to hero progression or meta account progress like getting X amount of hero ult elims/assists, Won x amount of games on a certain map or match type. Cause they seem more like something that would be akin to a trophy to prove you DID something then simply having it to show off cause you bought it in the shop or got to that tier in the battlepass.

They didn’t add more for the mythic cause of hanzo’s honor but honestly a way better battle pass compared to other seasons especially cause they stuck to the theme and didn’t sell all the great looking ones in the shop
Lifeweaver battle pass skin recolored is lazy. They should have given him a Diablo crossover as well, or create a zombie or vampire skin for him. Halloween theme and no zombies and vampires? Disappointing. Hanzo mythic skin can be a simple fix. Make his shoulder pads customizable. And then make different hairstyles like other mythic skins. Lastly, different types of horns. Otherwise, it's a great skin by itself. But I do agree, Blizzard is inconsistent. Lastly, where is the Crusader Diablo skin for Brigitte? What a missed opportunity.

The Widow skin is really good. I'm disappointed the Ashe skin isn't in the pass. I think the Widow and Echo skins make it the best pass.
Remember when they showed Lucio inspecting his gun in the trailer for OW2? Wouldn't it be great to actually take a gander at Widows great weapon skin while in game?

I didn’t think we’d get a mythic Hanzo skin this early and of course they cheap out on customization :P
I don’t know why I bought the pass last season. I can only guess it was to get the hero, but outside of that, I don’t think there was much in it for me to make use of (and I’m not even an Ana player). It was also made worse that as a game pass owner; I could have gotten her for free too, so that was a fun double whammy…
But. I will admit I’ve always been a sucker for the Halloween skins, and this year is no exception. Definitely will consider Wrecking Ball. That said though, I really don’t see a need to go past level 31 for this pass. Probably will get Wrecking Ball’s skin and Illoai (since I don’t want her in PJs anymore) and to get her victory pose, and call it there. It isn’t to say Hanzo’s mythic isn’t worth it due to the lack of customization options, but besides not being a Hanzo play let either, I like him in his suit attire a touch more.
So probably will pay minimum and play minimum and then retire from OW2 until the next season and perhaps our tank player will be the one we hope it will be.

I have to admit, if I buy the battle pass, it's not just because of the skins. I'm looking forward to one or two highlight intros and/or victory poses and sometimes also voice lines or weapon charms, IF they're really god (in my opinion ^^). But I really don't care about the rest.
I'm still waiting for my Leeroy Jenkins Reinhardt skin. It's strange we're hardly getting any collab with other Blizzard games till now. And yes I know about the Illidan skin.
I miss being able to unlock these things through grinding loot boxes.

I think Blizzard will excuse the lack of customisation with Hanzo being due to the in game effects added to him, with sound and visual effects on sonic arrow, storm arrow and his ult.
Though it was wired they weren't taking up two extra spots on the battle pass this season with the mythic now we can see why theres nothing there to fill up spaces with

I think i have only brought 1 battle pass after the very first one (the kinda D&D one i think). And 7 battle passes in they still haven't done a mythic of a character i actually use lol

seems weird to me they dont even let you customize his shoulder pad, which clearly is a draconic skull to go with one of the bow designs, But they dont have a demonic scull to match the 2nd bow design

While i think the Hanzo skin is very well made, i still dont think this should be accepted by the community.

I stopped playing since the whole "no pve f u" thing but honestly... the widow and soldier skins got me thinking. If they were to drop in the Moira skin in the battle pass and come up with a good halloween event i might have come back for the season.

We need different skill animations with these mithych skins. It's not like changing something on his shoulders will make your gameplay with the skin feel different anyway, but if the cast animation of the dragon changed...
I think this will actually be the first battlepass I don't purchase. Just don't feel the fomo and excitement anymore and with soldier skin being free, I'm happy with that. I've experienced the worst players I've ever seen in overwatch in diamond lobbies over the past couple weeks and thats just absolutely killed the grind for me. So might actually be leaving the game if thats not fixed soon. I dunno

I'd rather have them get rid of customization and only make good looking skins. I personnaly use the base version of mythic skins anyway(or the last version for Ana and Tracer) because they are the most coherent. Thats why unlike a lot of people I've always thought that the Zeus Junkerqueen skin was better than other mythic, customization was weak but the VFX and SFX when you play the skin in game are just awesome. And thats the only part you really see in game
As for battlepass it Halloween theme almost all overwatch best skins are Halloween theme. Halloween is overwatch best time for skins.
As for the hanzo skin that not a mythic that just 3 legendary or epic skins in 1
I am happy with the battlepass overall, but I must also register my disappointment with the lack of customization options on Hanzo's Mythic. Two weapons and three recolours just seems a little underwhelming for a Mythic. The skin does look really good, but it just feels like a slightly upgraded legendary instead of a full mythic.
