- Overwatch 2 LE SSERAFIM skins are offered in the most expensive bundle in Overwatch 2 history - for skins. Mega LE SSERAFIM Bundle (all heroes) - 6800 Coins
Hero LE SSERAFIM BUNDLE (individual hero) - 2500 Coins EACH
Individual ANTIFRAGILE Legendary Skin - 1900 Coins EACH (hero gallery only)

Ya know I always felt like if they had lower prices it’d cause for more purchases and in return more money…
Thats been my point for months
if there's anything these companies want, it's more money in less time.
They probably have a pod of whales ready to buy no matter what
I went from spending $150-$200 on lootboxes each year in OW1 to spending $0 after season 1 in OW2. :)
@@e3vL1 They do... someone i know legit just buys the whole store all the time and buys tiers on the battlepass its ridiculous
The shop this season has been horrific. It's never been this bad before. The Moira bundle, Sojourn bundle, Reinhardt skin, Witch Kiriko rerun, and others...and now this. Monetization is getting very aggressive now. And they're trying to see what they can get away with.
Very true
the only people that will pay this are the streamers, respectively, but some other people as well, however, that may over shadow this as there are f2p players like me. Also with that said, there is overpromised, and overpriced
they're going to keep getting away with this forever, because there are really stupid people that actually buy it. People with just stupid money that love throwing it away
It will only get worse.

It's crazy the amount of support I've seen for the price of the pack because "it's not as bad as we expected".
OW2 players have massive cope
Back when I first started playing OW1, I had no problems throwing $5 at a skin I REALLY liked, or even $10 for a skin like JJoNaK's Zenyatta skin that I REALLY REALLY liked... ain't no way I'd ever spend more than that for just one skin. Especially when Blizzard can yeet your account for no reason (which was a problem back in the day if you had an enemy team of trolls) and you can't get them back.
Or in the occasion said paid skin had a special meaning and destination (like pink mercy), nowadays Blizz is just known to be on EA levels of greed, sadly

A saying I heard once is its better to make $5 from 3 different people than $15 from 1 person. Surely if they make the prices cheaper it would make more people pay for them, plus with cheaper prices it would make people get pissed at OW less, and bring in new players/keep old players from leaving.
I get they need to make money so they can afford hiring everyone to update the game. But theres got to be a better way. As Winston said to all of us in 2016 "Someone has to do something, we have to do something!"
they would know best, they have the data for what sells best
I can at least understand the collab ones being this much, since they should be paying the collaborator. Which DOES imply standard legendaries should be cheaper. Which would A) make collabs more special B) let more people get the standard shop stuff C) probably get more people buying, which is a company's goal

I remember hearing way back when, a Warframe player spent thousands on the game but one day his account got locked so he contacted support.
They told him that he wasn't allowed to spend anymore money, refunded all the money he spent, let him keep the purchased items, and gave him extra items as well.
How many steps backward have we taken?
That's really cool. Well, from what I've heard over the years, the Warframe devs are leaps and bounds above Blizzard.

it's only expensive because people keep buying it despite how overpriced it is because it is "the norm" with the industry. this will only keep getting worse because the stupid people buying it are showing blizzard it's working despite how high the price is.
You can’t just blame blizzard for the prices being this high, it’s partly the community’s fault for continuously buying overpriced garbage
This. Blizzard would NOT do this if they couldn't get away with it.
Its Bobby Kotick don’t blame the team
That's not fair to say because most of the players are casual that just want a skin and don't care about much else in the gaming world. Blizzard just choose to ignore the vocal minority.
@StillChewy it's exactly fair lol, if these dweebs cry about overpriced skins but still buy them, then Blizaard will ramp the prices and keep taking the piss
@@StillChewyif the community stopped buying overpriced skins they would lower the prices.

Remember when Overwatch let you earn the skins by playing the game? You know... before they started taking advantage of us all. The skin bundle costs more than a full price game. AN ENTIRE GAME.
cry about it
Then people cried about it and we got this glorious mess
The good times have passed, get used to it. Every company wants to make much money. And actually, I wouldn't mind to pay the developers for the game 20-30$ for a bundle, but I know that my money won't go to the developers, who really makes the game. My money will go to the Kotick type person's wallet and then he will buy another yacht.
In conclusion: its so sad, that the most part of money the game obtains, doesn't support the game.
Remember the time that you could get these skins for free and it bankrupted the OW team so they had to stop adding content?
Whos "Us"? I haven't payed for a single thing except using the ingame earned currency 😂
As an Animator, I can confidently say that 4/5 of those emotes are 100% the same. They simply made one, then applied the preset to the other characters

For sure.. Now.. I´m not a young kid so I guess I´m not the demographic. But I do know around 10 people who plays or did play OW. And I have never seen or heard about any of them buying a skin in ow2. I can´t even understand buying a skin that expensive if you main something. But I play every single character.. Imagine buying 5 skins each... Common Blizzard.. That is just ridiculous money.... Money for a 100 full top teir games.
So 6 dollars per legendary kpop skin? Are ow players legit children

one interesting thing about the tracer skin is that there is a new sound effect played while recalling, im surprised these kinds of quirks aren't* more explicitly mentioned while viewing the skin in game. similar with EDM Dva shift & ult playing music and Jazzy Lucio having custom crossfade music. these features to me can be just as valuable as the gun model on the skin itself.

I personally draw the line for skins at $10. Ain't no way a cosmetic that gives you no extra gameplay mechanics is worth more than $10. If they were to actually put reasonable prices on these skins, I'm sure thousands more would actually buy them which in turn makes them more money.
To be honest, in my opinion, I think that skins should be from a range of 5 to 10 dollars, so it would sell more, if it had like animations of FX added on then or anything else, 15 dollars would be a good price, but 65 dolars is too much, even if it is a pack.
I think they probably aren't making as much from this as we think, in terms of how much is most likely cut and give to Le Serrafim.
Loved to think so but kpop industry sometimes means the idols don’t actually get much, instead it goes mostly to the agency (might not be in this case tho just something to think about)
This might be true.
The only reason I’d buy these skins is to buy that pack for 42$.
But like you said, it’s a double feature of a whammy. This and this are limited so that way it makes you wanna buy the stuff.

I think in January they are going to announce overall price cuts on the store skins as a direct edict from their new boss. What changes in the Battle Pass then? The only thing I can think of is making Battle Pass non-expiring like Halo Infinite and then offer all the previous seasons for purchase for anyone who missed out on them.
High hopes. Hopefully Microsoft changes this shit
Hahaha. Unless reducing prices is going to make them more profit, Microsoft is going to push this monetization method harder and harder. Why would they not chase after profits?

Ey atleast you spend ur money else where or better save alot good on u iwish i could break free from my battlepass shop games plus i play gacha games 😂
You're not the type of cetacean that the skins are meant for
Just imaging how many of these super bundles they could have sold if it was only 20-25 bucks. People would be taking their wallets out and charging their credit cards by involuntarily reaction before their brains even caught up to realize they now have five new skins.
Indeed
Even if they break even by selling for less, its far more consumer friendly as more of your players get to enjoy the skins. I'm getting the distinct feeling they dont care about distributing it to as many as possible. That means they have to worry about retaining players to keep selling in bulk. Instead they are trying to snag some whales that will then be hooked and continue to spend more and more absurd amounts of money to keep their collection of skins complete.
If blizzard cut all the coin bundle prices in half and kept it that way, people wouldn’t butcher them for their greed as much
Pros: Nothing
Cons: LITERRALLY EVERYTHING HAS BEEN A CON
It’s disappointing seeing people spend this ridiculous amount of money. I wish we could band together and just not spend money on the game as a community
I always facepalm when I see people in my matches rocking the store items. They're basically showing everyone how willing they are to get scammed.
6800 credits for 5 skins 5 emotes 5 victory poses seems like a good deal compared to the 20 dollar for one skin but it’s just infinitely more expensive than the free skins we had in ow1
Well they were free, no sh*t
I mentioned how expensive the skins were in an ow game. Someone said 'who cares'. The OW1 community do!
No lol. It's still not a good deal. It makes the Moira skin look less shitty but that one was ALSO not a good deal.
The free skins also werent featured in a kpop music vid
The absolute crazy part is, that the last 4 matches i played someone had one of the skins. R.i.p.
Seeing this, honestly makes me fine with leaving the game. I like those skins, I just can't justify paying the price (even if I was still playing). Or supporting the greed of the company. Hopefully blizz can right the ship eventually
With the deal in the shop, the 5 skin pack is $50 plus an additional 700 credits left over
$50 for 5 skins in an FPS [which means YOU don't see the skin, just the gun].
Not worth it AT ALL.
@@AzureRoxe By that logic all skins and emotes are worth nothing
@TrueOracle Yeah, that's why tons of games offer cosmetics through progression, because they don't need to be valued with real money
I'd rather earn my cosmetics than swipe my card, it's far more satisfying that way
@@Chu_5 Most popular multiplayer games now are free, therefore do not give many cosmetics for free.
@@AzureRoxeWorth is not a factual matter and more a matter of prespective. People value things differently and every game I played since yesterday had people rocking the new skins so that is what the market demands right now and blizzard would be stupid not to service these people.
I always thought that overwatch would be better in third person mostly because you actually get to see the crap you buy.
How can a skin pack for a game be more expensive than… the game 😂😂😂
In game currency needs basic regulation. There should be a clear conversion rate to real currency. And you should be able to purchase exact quantities. Or just make the whole thing illegal. Imagine if any other industry refused legal tender and made you buy credits
It would've been more worth it if these where like mythic skins were you can customize their outfits or color & add more to the bundle than MAYBE they would've been more worth it but right now its a scam
On one hand, to Blizzard's credit, the skins are very well designed and highly detailed. On the other hand, however, the pricing is yet again way too aggressive and predatory. Overwatch is a game I'd really like to come back to but I just can't bring myself to supporting such awful monetization.
cry about 9t
What about playing without buying skins?
Granted, there isn't really any progression in the game other than the battle pass (and ranked), so it probably would get stale after a while of not spending any money.
It's 68$ but right now they are doing a 50% bonus so it's actually less than 49$ "for now"
The thing that upsets me the most about it is that they could’ve made it cost one dollar more so then it would’ve at least been $69
😂😂😂
I think they thought they could get away with this cause of Valorant expensive skins, but in that game you get kill VFX etc, etc. In OW however you first of all can't even see your own character and there's rarely any special VFX in skins.
They think they have paladins skins lol
Honestly if these expensive skins had custom animations or sound effects it would make the value for them shot up in my opinion; valorant is a good example because they’re bundles are super expensive but you are ALWAYS looking at them, not just in the character select menu, and they have custom animations, examine animations, sounds, kill effects, kill streak effects, and typically also come with a new custom knife skin that has custom animations as well. These OW skins are certainly high quality but they don’t have anything that truly makes them stand out like valorant bundles do
The only skin I was planning to buy this season was the zombie doctor mercy skin, but blizzard seem to have forgotten to add it to the store 🤷♂️
I suppose I you use the coin deal for the next 6 battlepasses it works out quite good.
Blizzard do be guffy like that, hopefully will be added for next year Halloween.
I know the monetization of these skins sucks as a concept, but I gotta say their marketing team sure knows that I am a weak magpie with an income and stress twice my salary.
If you're struggling with money, you have to choose if you buy new fancy skins or feed your family for a week.
"Dad, I'm hungry" - "shut up kiddo, I'm Tracer"
The justification use by Blizzard’s defenders is that the price tag is meant to pay for better content, and that’s the trap, the trick. That “content” is just more paid content, and lack luster PvE.
I always feel very down with every update, because the complementary content is genuinely fantastic, but I know I will never find it in me to buy them because of how ridiculously expensive they are in due part of the F2P tag. This means that no matter how much stuff they add to the game, I will never be excited by the items, knowing they are going to be utterly pricey.
Out of most of the stuff I've seen in the shop, the Retrowave Tracer bundle from earlier this summer really hit the deepest, because I adore that style despite its epic quality, but yet again, being a shop item with a bundle price that was in the 15-20$ range (if memory serves), I just couldn't justify the value.
Expecting fair change to their approach to monetization might never happen. The content drought before OW2 meant we "had" to take the pricey shop as a compromise. Still, let's keep voicing our opinions, otherwise there will be a clear and obstacle-free road for them to keep pricing the items in this range.
Same price as 1 skin bundle (Deluxe) in Varolant. And this is Legendary too man.
Yeah but people don't want to acknowledge this, they just wanna say "Omg blizzard!" rather than realise that this is normal skin pricing in these sorts of games lol. Its always fine in other games except OW with these folks

Lol a tank of gas costs me $120. Groceries for 2 weeks is $300. I'll gladly spend $50 on one of my favorite games for my favorite heroes. I'm all for advocating for fixing the predatory industry standards, but this pack in particular and deals around it are actually an anomaly in the ocean of over-monetization in the industry as a whole. The skins are excellent, the emotes are fun, and a full stack of 5 people all rocking the vposes at the end of the game is awesome.
Perspective, my man.
I bought the bundle. The skins are cute.
Back in OW1, I would have had to spend a lot more money to get enough loot boxes to hopefully get some of the new cosmetics. I prefer buying a bundle with everything.
I once dropped $150 to try and get a new Halloween skin back in OW1 and I didn’t even get the skin, and nowhere near enough credits to buy it.
idk man... I remember dropping 25$ for loot boxes in new events and usually I got most of the skins. lol

I expected the price with it being licensed content, but if you don't play any of these heroes then you're basically out of luck. Plus it's the same ones again, Dva just had a collab with Gentle Monster, and Kiriko had One Punch Man. What made you think that? Were skins supposed to be the bug fixes, hero balances, etc.? Lol
Lmao ye@@flickmynipsxl7907
This game franchise will be driven into the ground. Then when OW3 flops, suits and devs will say 'I guess the community dont want Overwatch anymore' and that will be that. No one will realise or take responsibility for their awful consumer marketing practices
I only purchased the Kiriko skin from the heroes section, both with the coins I'd earned from playing, and spending a little over £10 to cover the rest of the coins I needed.. couldn't be more pleased with that. I'm a Kiriko main, so it's all I needed from the shop. But I completely agree with anyone when they mention Blizzard prices for skins and them being absolutely egregious!
Yeah that's what sucks about these prices. If you main a character, the prices are easier to swallow, but if you constantly rotate characters, it becomes way too expensive to get skins for them all.
I rotate between all characters, and the only "main" I have is Mercy. None of these skins are for her, so no purchase from me 🤷♂️
£43 for the full bundle, which gives me everything, 5 skins, 5 victory poses, 5 name cards, 5 emotes and 1 weapon charm. If we look at League, Hearsteel skins, gonna cost me £62 to get all the skins, thats it, no extras, nothing crazy, just 6 skins. Is £43 alot? yes but its still nowhere near the same level as League or Apex, and lets not talk about £40 knives in Valorant.
I mean League skins arguably take more work because you have to make custom spell effects for new skins as well as potential new voice lines, new animations etc. Whereas OW skins don't have much of that.
@@TheJamieellis Generally only league skins with new voice lines are Legendary-ultimate skins. I'm not criticising League, but its more a perspective of, this bundle is cheap compared to other similar model games. This collab was crap already for those who dont care about K-pop (me and friends). Now they are priced in typical Blizz fashion. Sad Blizz
I like kiriko skin but it doesn't cost that much in my head, so I won't buy it
saddest thing blizzard has ever done.
in a past comment I posted I said that you were probably going to pay 30$ for it so it's really not worth the pixels on your screen changing... but this!?!??!?!?!?! UNACCEPTABLE WHAT WERE THEY THINKING?
It's technically 40 quid for the lot. I'm quite happy with that
Again. This is normal. The average price of all the cosmetics is ~160 (Idk what the name tags would cost, but each skin is 20, each emote is 5, and the victory poses are 3, plus the charm which is 7 that totals 147). This is not outrageous at all its less half then half the total price.
Edit: I got these values from the hero gallery. Plus with the recent bonus to purchased ingame currency its only $50 since that gives you 7500 coins. This is not a big deal.
Yes but still, it doesn't worth that much money. You can still buy a great game for 68$, not just skins that you cant even see in the game
I still gonna buy this bundle because these skins are the most attractive skins in the game and because they many other people gonna buy them too, makes me want to buy them even more , these skins are far too attractive to pass up, these kinds of skin is NEEDED to be spent on
this is the harsh reality of modern F2P games. I know OW is over priced but it still isn’t as bad as lots of games like Apex for example
I know I will be hated for this, but that's actually a deal. In most games, a pack of that many skins would cost you $100.00 and technically speaking the pack should cost $100.00 since each skin would cost around $22.00 individually without the emotes. Meaning even at $100.00, it would still be a deal.
I know its the in thing to rag on blizz for greedy pricing, but this pack isn't greedy when compared to similar games on the market.
In Brazilian currency it's 322 reais, ou minimum wage for a 8h work day, 22ish day month, is 1320 reais. The pack is 24,4% of the minimum wage. That's so insane for me, dear god
Damn, this is insane.
They also made them 1 tank, 2 dps, 2 support so everyone on a team can get it and emote together
The skins are nice. I'm not buying any of them.
Just get the new Spider-Man 2 game with that money
Title: The most expensive Overwatch 2 skins ever
The individual skins: The same price of every new legendary since launch
So you're telling me that content creators get special treatment by being given a battlepass with Ow2 coins? Kinda bs in my opinion.
I think we have to just understand that every free to play game has cosmetics that cost around this much. My only issue is that they don’t show you in the shop they you can buy the skin separately without buying the pack. Blizzard def have to fix that
No we dont just have to understand that were getting scammed lmao No, we dont ever have to understand that. You should have more than 1 issue
@@KeyTriD I mean sure, you can choose not to understand, but you do know that they’re all about money, so there’s no way they go back to loot boxes. It sucks, but you might as well just accept it for what it is
Overwatch has done too much damage to their brand to ever recover. But if they had been smart, they should have just turned their monetization system into a subscription model where it’s five dollars a month to have access for your account on any platform and everything they release that month is given to you with that subscription. And if you get a subscription and you want stuff from previous months, then you can either grind to earn it or spend money to buy it. They could even still do collaborations and special events where they have special skins to buy. So instead of trying to sell you 300 garbage items you don’t want for the one decent skin a season they could just be releasing like two decent skins a month and call it a day. They had 50 million people playing and if they were just charging five dollars a month then that would be. $250 million. That’s not bad money.
Its not as bad as it has been because of the bonus 50% in coins. I'm fine with collabs costing real money, its just everything else costing money is the problem.
I'm sorry Sty, but it seems like every video you make about overwatch these days is just negative.
We all can see how expensive the skins are, but nobody is being forced to buy them, people will vote with their wallets.
If you don't enjoy the game anymore that is fine, but don't just come onto RUclips and spread negativity throughout the community every other week, you are a respected Overwatch content creator and people will listen to you, just let them enjoy playing the game.
Nah he is speaking yhe truth and has shown more support and love to the game than you or anybody else in the comments. He fights to make it the best it can be. If you dont like his content or the truth, unsub
@@whofromwantoI hardly watch his videos his videos anymore for this reason. Every other video he is just complaining about the price of skins and saying he barely plays the game anymore and because he doesn't play the game anymore he is just becoming more out of touch with the game and it shows in his videos.
It's ironic that you say he is speaking the truth because he wants the game to be better, but I am doing exactly the same thing about him.
i was a huge fan of OW1, with the stupid amount of greed that blizzard has shown in regard to their battlepass and locking skins behind paywalls left and right, especially some of the best ones, i have stopped playing OW2 by a HUGE amount
i only just bought the kiriko skin from the hero gallery for 1900 credits. Which is still a lot though, but its a price i can live with, specially if you compare this skin to some other 1900 skins in the store.
The worst part is that they even have the freedom to do this because they know people will buy it. If noone bought absurdly expensive skins (or the battlepass just to get a 'locked' skin, they would realise they can't just keep upping the prices.
Compared to most of the comment section here, I'm more so left conflicted if anything.
To note, I rarely do buy skins unless one really blows me away (the last one I got being Marionette Sombra). However, they all do look pretty good outside of Tracer which looks ok, but nothing that I am really too keen on getting. $68 was a price I never thought they would put up there considering all 5 bought individually cost $125. I'm gonna think on it for a bit, because I am getting paid this Friday and stuff like that.
That, plus I am a huge fan of the level of detail. Am I happy that they put that much time and effort and that we do not have another lowgrade Tatsumaki Kiriko situation (maybe Tracer but she looks WAYYYYY better than that skin)? Absolutely. Am I happy about the price though? No, no not really.
We'll see this weekend probably, but I have the angel and devil on my shoulders right now looking at this haha.
This is not what Micro means in micro-transaction... This is beyond NEW GAME PRICE.
Imagine buying a skin bundle thats the same price as a full price game
Once again the R34 is the last heart beat to this abomination
fun fact if you were to buy just the skins for 1900, that costs 7600 coins, 100 coins more than you can buy which is 7500 for 85 quid
Logged in, "ah so it's a shop event", logged out.
Pink mercy was leaps and bounds better than those she had sound change wing colour change
People who buy these skins are the reason the gameplay of Overwatch has been terrible since Overwatch 2 released.
