What a treasure it is you were able to walk and talk with one of the greats in animation. And the fact he interacted with the legendary Frank and Ollie duo!! I respect those who are so engulfed and passionate about every aspect of animation, even just the storyboards, just listening to this gentlemen is soothing to me.
Wow Cell animation are rare to find and amazing in the back centuries! Tons and tons of paper for drawing! Cell animation and cell colors are SUPER Hard without making mistakes. THE NINE OLD MEN, Glen Keane, Oswald, Walt and her daughter Ruth!. Thank you Brian for the Walt Disney Tour! Online High five and thumbs up! THANK YOU

*Mickey's Christmas Carol* will always hold a special place in my heart. Not only was it one of the first Disney things I saw starring Mickey, but it was also the first version of *A Christmas Carol* I was ever introduced to. And to this day it remains my favorite Christmas story.
It is my dream to visit this museum one day (and Disneyland, too, while I'm at it). This Mickey exhibit looks SO well planned out, and Diane certainly knew what she was doing getting Andreas involved. And I am THRILLED that "Runaway Brain" is acknowledged! That short is INSANELY funny, and it hardly gets any recognition.

I remember watching the special features of Disney movies as a kid and seeing Andres Deja talking about the film. It must have been an awesome experience meeting an animator from Walt Disney Studios
Hey I saw you on Sunday at Disneyland. But I was to scared to say hi. I saw you at the Pirates of the Caribbean ride.
They brought up Mr. Deja's villain animations and his Mickey Mouse one, but my personal favorite one, his Tigger animation for the 2011 Winnie the Pooh movie. It takes an artist to animate him well, but it takes a genuine master to recapture Milt Kahl's original animation style with the perfect amount of expression and kinetic energy and Andres Deja is that master.

I hope you realize you're one of the luckiest people alive. I used to live in San Francisco and went several times for my birthday. It kills me I can't see this, let alone have the experience you have.

OMG Brian! You are so lucky to have this happen to you! I must admit, I was drooling over all the artwork and was over the moon with the tour Mr. Deja gave! My inner child, who wants to be a Disney animator, is so jealous you got a private tour with a Disney animator, yet is so happy you were allowed to film it! I wish I lived closer to have a pass to this wonderful museum! I'd be there just as often as I'd be at Disneyland! OMG Brian, you're a lucky dude. You got to meet Andreas Deja who animates plenty of Disney characters after Ward Kimball and the other animators passed away who were Disney's 9️⃣ Old Men, of course. He's one of Disney's 9️⃣ New Men as we know today. 👏🏻! This guy was the supervising animator for Lilo Pelekai from Lilo and Stitch. Is that right? Animation is my favorite medium. 🤣! BTW, I 👗ed up as Mickey 🐁 from the scene I like from Fantasisa and the sequel, Fantasia 2000 (e.g. The Sorcerer's Apprentice) for Halloween 2019. I still have the red robe, the 👂🏻 hat with the 🌙s and the ⭐s, the white 🧤 and the gold rope belt at home. Everyone went nuts when they saw me 👗ed up like him that day when I volunteered at a facility (UCSF Mission Bay) located in San Francisco where The Walt Disney 👪 Museum is located which is ONLY the Presidio. 😀! I read 2️⃣ stories to the children in costume. That was a special moment I'll cherish in my ❤ forever. Who are your favorite Disney characters? What are your favorite rides in Disneyland? PLEASE keep these videos coming, Brian.

I love your video's Brian Hull, I also loved how Mickey Mouse had so many dinfferant voice actor's over the year's and learning that Walt Disney was one of the voice's for Mickey Mouse, because I didn't really know that and the how museum had dinfferant part's of Mickey Mouse. I was also impressed that one of the animator's Andres Deja was your toured giude as well, so I do have one hudge question for you "How does Andres Deja feel about all the Walt Disney film's being brought to a live remake of the old VHS animated movie's?"

As a gay man it's great to know that the villain from my all time favourite movie (Scar from TLK) was drawn by a gay man
it’s also good to see that his image isn’t defined by it, since people love to make sexual orientation such a big deal..admittedly, part of the reason may be that he probably kept his private life on the downlow, but still. Good to see that he is defined by his achievements.
