I understand that these SS6 SAE Fog lights arent intended to be a low beam headlight whatsoever. But i wanted to ask, how would they compare to a hradlights low beam if aimed slightly higher than typical fog light level? I am thinking of using them as the dedicated low beams on an offroad vehicle. This project vehicle needs a headlight solution that has a sealed low beam. Im thinking Either the SS6 Or the morimoto sealed3 lowbeam I would love to hear your input on this! Thanks!
On a dedicated off road vehicle I think you can definitely use a combination of pods from Diode Dynamics. All depends on how much space you have. If you can use pods, something like the SS3 - you have more options for power levels. A pair of SS3 max in SAE Fog would have a nice wide tight beam and you can aim them pretty well. Then you can add more pods for high beam use and ditch lights.
Just installed these on my 2022 tundra TRD PRO. You have any problems with the radar sensor or the front camera? I just lost visibility from the front camera installing these. Hopefully one day there will Be a relocation kit
I have the SS18 TRD Pro Grille Lightbar and hate the switch that came with it. What switch did you purchase that works with the lightbar, fits the factory opening and how did you wire it?
Just found your channel, you do an amazing work, have you modified the triple j accent lights on the corollas? I think they come in the 2020+? They're very dim. Love your work!
It would be cooler if the amber lights were also white. I get why ambers better in inclement weather etc. But at a certain point it does t even matter lol
I love the build but man you are adding white and amber is not that beneficial you need to stick to one build id done (my opinion) dd spot beem grill lightbar white and all the rest amber. The crosslink in white is stupid ammount of refraction even if you did all white and the crosslink in amber if would be a good substitute for different weather conditions whit light is just to bad on the eyes
Man those fogs add a TON of glare. They really are poor performers. Also all the driving lamps need a signal wire off the oem highbeam circuit. So when you kill the highbeams all the driving lamps go off. They should have their own switches of course but they need too dim along the factory headlamps.
Great video! Do you know if the ss5 light bar is the pro or version?
This is the Pro. Reach out to us directly if you need to get hooked up with a set!
The back light amber on the SS3 is way nicer than the SS5's amber & yellow options... That would drive me nuts if they didn't match
Did having the ss5 installed affect the radar detector?
Does not have any impact on the radar detector function.

Since the ss5 aren’t street legal what’s the point in having them
Mainly for off-roading, those are stupid bright
Doesn’t the light bar blocked the camera?
Blocks about 1/3 of the view.
I ordered the fogs, stealth bar and grille bar (one in driving and one in combo). Should be enough for my rural highway with the premium led lights!
Curious if this bracket will fit on a 2023 sequoia TRD pro. I'm gonna try!
Great question. Please let us know!
Lol, where are you heading to with all these lights?
Thanks for the review! This is how light install vids should be like!

NO issues with the sensors but yes, lost about 50% of the front view camera.
Looks like the 4 SS5s block the front camera. Can anyone confirm that?
About half the camera view is blocked.
Nice install. Which power level are those SS5s, the Pro or Sport?
These are the Pro's

We dont offer any upgrades for the Corolla, sorry. Thanks for asking.

You should leave the SS5s on for more than 3 seconds at a time.
Are these lights in stock or there’s a lead time?
Pre-order now. Expect about a month. You can check the link in the description.
Thanks for the great installation & overview video!

I'd love to see more road shots in future videos.
