There is no such thing as a mic that works best in an untreated room... Sorry man. Treatment is ALWAYS the best answer...but it doesn't have to be expensive. I put out a video about treating your space for cheap...give it a try!
Hey! Love the video! I almost missed it and I’m not sure why. In YT, under “all subscriptions” is where I live the most and this video doesn’t show up there for me I had to actively look for this video under Dark Corner Studios channel and video list. Never seen this happen before at least demonstrably so I don’t know what YT’s doing here. Thought you should know. Thanks for the videos!
@@DarkCornerStudios no it wasn’t there. I looked hard cause that seemed weird. At first I thought maybe it was showing up chronologically earlier than the last livestream, no good.
Thanks for all the help and information you provided for us microphone enthusiasts. P.S. I got my first Rode nt1 it sounds great, but has intense handling noise is that normal? Thanks.
Exactly. Although Boss is still out there. But yeah: mergers an acquisitions are NEVER good for consumers, despite all the nonsense people are led to believe. Again: NEVER good for consumers.
Its like your ignoring the AT2020 USB thats been out since 2001... The AT2020 is a fine mic.. and if you needed usb... its been great since 2001 (not that I'd ever buy a usb mic period but if someone needed one they didnt need to wait till røde to release on this year!). I want to see what Tascam might bring to the table from lessons learned on its mixcast and such. I also feel that particular market is in a pushdown. theres a lot of chinese randomnamed devices on amazon with faders and buttons... Behringer has fingers in the pie, I'd expect them to rip off whoever, I mean they stole mackies mixer design so why not the rodcaster pro2? they already have the goxlr from tchelicon as a starting point..
@@DarkCornerStudios that true. I do wonder if were looking at two distinct markets. the low end live streamer who needs a single mic input and a couple of stream faders (low end) vs those devices we see with 4/6 mic inputs which strike me as a clear break in functionality. i wonder how big the 4 local people around a table podcast market really is. its interesting to see tascam+zoom come at it from a mixer perspect (podtrak/livetrack/mixcast) and rode come at it from non-mixer perspective. app integration is going to be make or break for 2024 imo. faders on the ipad etc. now will we see a device wouthout xlr but usb mic in, and usb to the pc? so replace all xlr with usb for usb mic's... i think there is too much stigma/perception of usb mic suck compared to xlr mic's for that but it would be telling if we saw such a device...
@@BloodyCactus What is fascinating...is that the 4-input interfaces arent just being marketed towards the 4 person podcasts. I know of MANY solo podcasters that have a Rodecaster...just because they wanted one. If the market was balanced...then the Vocasters of this world would have sold a WHOLE LOT more... Alas...the market is always willing to accept the next big thing and eat it up. And to be fair...I am one of the ones that wants it all...lol
Great job! Put my hands on the
Rodecaster Duo two days ago!

My Lewitt LCT 440 Pure sounds better than any dynamic microphone in my untreated room.

That is weird.
Didn't even come up on your homescreen?

Yeah...condensers aren't known for being good to handle
@@DarkCornerStudios thanks. 👍
🎉great Video!!
I really hope rode doesnt monopolize these types of mixers

Fair point on the at2020.
I am not sure it's a downturn yet.
I think there is still a LOT of consumer money on the table
