I went to this fancy restaurant once. I ordered some tomato soup and when the waiter went back to the kitchen I could hear a pan being thrown against a wall and the chef screaming. After waiting for an entire hour he came out to me with a Wendys Baconator and kept saying "fresh never frozen" over and over again while watching me eat it. I will never be going back. 5 stars.

The bottles and plates breaking is 95% of what makes the game fun to watch and Jerma knows it. He also could have used all his counter space for the day old soups, but leaving them on the floor is much funnier. The man isn't going to sabotage his own 8 hour long comedy act.

I love how jerma does not once consider that maybe the sheer volume of plates in the kitchen is causing the physics to become unresponsive
That was my initial thought too, especially because this game was made in Unity. I'm guessing that any object that doesn't get put in the trash can is still considered an active physics object.
I’m not sure that’s how that works
After a while objects go into a "sleep" state where their physics aren't calculated only a broadphase to check if anything around them has changed for them to wake back up. Though it is possible jerma going nearby often was keeping them awake.

I love the slow progression from not knowing what he's doing, to kinda understanding the game, to the floor being covered in soup bowls that are being smashed by slices of lemon and ricocheting microwave trouts. What an adventure

1:32:15 is possibly one of my favourite Jerma moments. The plop and slosh sounds mixed with him picking up and placing the sponge/pot is funny enough but the music and his stupidly contagious laugh never fail to make me giggle.
I love later when he is so carefully trying to flip the steak and it launches away and then a few seconds later the pan launches as well. Watched that bit over and over full belly laughing.
Imagine seeing a kitchen burning down as a burnt pumpkin, a pair of tongs, and a burner are being microwaved, there are propane tanks in the deep fryers, and the chef had just torched both of his eyes out with a burner.

Most of the time we say it because people try to grab the plates to help and burn themselves and in the process smack the plate and make a mess. It sucks for everyone. Just keep your hands in your lap plz ❤️

_PLEASE_ check out Apocalyptica’s version of hall of the mountain king. My high school best friend played it on violin and it’s one of the best instrument play I’ve ever witnessed in person. It’s so dramatic in the best way.
It's subconsciously conditioning him for maximum insanity. Same concept as the old Musak thing that was caught using music like that to subconsciously make workers work more productively.
The best part about this stream has to be Jerma not realizing he could have bought a ladle at any point using a box.
