Absolutely LOVE this! I'm new to CV and didn't buy CV render yet. Don't think I will now. I've been testing Vortek for a week and I'm hooked. If you can figure out CV, this tool will be the simplest part of the job and is outstanding for the client. Some people have complained about the price, but honestly its about the same price per month as a high speed internet subscription. No brainer when you consider that most shops dont have time to build their own libraries, which will be nowhere near as good as those in Vortek Spaces. Thanks for the recommendation, Myron!
I’m looking into vortek spaces- it looks really nice in a lot of ways. My one hesitation and concern is how it handles edits back in cabinet vision. If I show a customer a nice presentation but then we need to revise the island size, move the microwave, or change door styles, don’t I have to start over with all the vortek textures, lights, window, 3d objects, etc?
Lol VR is something I was thinking about a year ago too but I haven't pushed that frontier yet. Have you heard of new software doing this(now that it's been a year later)?
Oh my apologies I shot a little early there 😅 I stopped immediately paying attention to the video as soon as you mentioned VR. It looks like I'm trying out something new this summer.
You can click on anything in your job and change the finish. The doors would have to be updated in Cabinet Vision. But the cool thing is, if you change something in CV, you can update those changes in VORTEK without losing your VORTEK changes.
The rendering itself it really good, plus it is really handy that it is built into Cabinet Vision. I used CV for rendering for 2 years and made some great realistic renderings. The problem is, it takes so long to find seamless textures, get your finish types set right, and mess with lighting. If you are already putting the correct textures in place and using the right finishes, it might be wise to do it in Cabinet Vision, but for most people, I think they will save time by using Vortek Spaces. Hope that helps.
@@gilberttorres8 certainly not. I like VORTEK better because I spent several years doing photographic rendering in CV at a shop and as soon as I discovered VORTEK, I knew it was a better process.
@@gilberttorres8 if you mean I am biased toward Vortek because I like it better, than yes. However, it does not mean that I am recommending Vortek simply because I am an affiliate for them. I would never recommend a product I didn't truly think was a great solution.

No, you can overlay the new CV job over top without losing your changes. Unless they are major changes and you need to redo the lights and stuff.
Wow
plug ins for appliances and accessories and cabinet catalogues plug ins?

can you change finishes and door/ panel designs on vortek ?

whats your take on 2020 renderings?
2020 is great for designers. Its perfect for easy rendering.

@@myronwittmer could you do a video with realistic renderings without vortex?
I have a section on this in my online course. I may post some of the videos here as well.
how do you like the updated cabinet vision
I love the features CV has been adding. However, I still like the way VORTEK has integrated catalogs and colors and makes it easy to do lighting.
@@myronwittmerwhy cuz you’re affiliated to them?

@@myronwittmer I mean there some bias if you’re affiliated to the product you’re claiming to be better than CV. I would too lol
