- Today, I will teach a random athlete how to learn a muscle-up, explaining the technique step by step. I'll focus on key aspects and how to progress from easier variations to more difficult ones. Follow these steps to learn how to swing, pull up, transition over the bar, and finally, perform a muscle-up.

So many details!! Thanks 👌👌
I will probably learn this skill soon. Just building strength at the moment, then I am going to lower my weight.
well done never stop trying to learn new things👍👍thanks for the video
Very fantastic video , thank you brother 🫡
Please upload this type of video for planche 🙏

I just found your channel. You are the king man!!
I can do a very sloppy muscle. Also i have a challenge for you. Try to do a muscle up then at the top portion go into the 90 degree hold and do a 90 degree push up.
You mean to say without swing and without dip
@@sonilal3288 Are you talking about me saying i can do a sloppy muscle up or my challenge for andry?
To Andry not to you
Bro I am tired but I can't do sloppy muscle up also
Your english improving Andriy..

I have a video 90 degree hold easy way and subscribe my channel for learn calisthenics😊
Andy, I'd like to see you compete against Javi Ales.
Who is this guy?
He's a strong calisthenics athlete like you. Look up his name on RUclips. I'm sure your competition will be an epic one.
I'm struggling to do my first muscle up. I can do 15 pull ups but can't get the transition right I'll try this methods
I think he can do muscle up, but u gave him a lot of excercises that made him tired. If he just did with strong rubber band and high pull up with alot of kipping he would get it easily. He should do muscle ups with kipping and with bands, because he can not enter good form muscle ups at the start. All of us went to bad form phase and it is important to build the muscle connection. The thing that made me stuck and slow progress in muscle ups is overusing the bands to get it clean which is a bad or slower method. When i did high pull ups with kip and muscle ups with kip that made my progress jumb. Thank for the vid man and keep going ❤
Of course in the beginning we all do with bad technique and keeping and its normal.
But he didnt know technique and he can injure his shoulders with bad technique - easy. Thats why its important do step by step with understanding the movement
Thanks very much Andry for your progressione,fantastic..What helped so much in muscle up was performing as many pull up as possibile
Upload more bro
TEACH MEEEEE BACK LEVER!!!!!
I started training muscle up since 2 months ago
Then i can do 10 pull ups
Now i can do 20 pull ups and 5 perfect muscle up 💪
Stetson makes it easy for you.
Sir when I do pull and after may bicep hurt but tear only hurt are there any warm up before pull up?!
In which city are you Andry, is that Viña Del Mar?. I’m from Chile and I’m a big fan of you so I’d like to meet you if I’m able to
Yes. Vina Del Mare
it is real 2 hours u teach that man? if real 2 hours, u are a great man
Yes. It was just 2 hours.
That dude has the necessary pulling Strength needed to do a muscle up, all Andriy did was teach him how to, and Andriy did a phenomal.job teaching that dude, he got all bases covered and taught him all that he needed.
@@NigoMavarro yeah he improved, hope andre upload video next progress that man. because i similar of that man who struggle to muscle up
@@aldanfirdauss practice false grip, many people struggle at the Transition phase bro, false grip is a game changer it will add a lot to your explosiveness which in turn, make muscle up easier for you.
@@NigoMavarro more pull up with false grip will train the explosives of pull strength ...thanks for suggestion bro
Andry I can do 50% bdwt weighted pull up for 2 reps, can I do it after technique practice?
First technique and then weighted
Im doing push up over 33, but still cant do muscle up..
Im doing muscle up with help of my chain.
I needed nearly 1.5 years for my first muscle up and the game changer was to increase max pull ups up to 20 and weighted pull ups with around 20-25 kg.
Why you was struggle for 1,5 years?
@@andrystrong1 I do not really know, I learned the technique with bands and do on, trained high pull ups but they were never high enough to bring my chest onto the Bar, I guess I just needed more pulling strength which I acquired with the weighted pull ups
@@freerideviktor440 maybe your grip sets you back? Have you been using false grip for easier Transition?
@@NigoMavarro do not get me wrong, today I do around 10 muscle ups in a set :D btw I ise falsch grip but most of the Time im not able to keep it for the whole set
@@freerideviktor440 That is Great then, but my point is maybe it took you that long (1.5years) to do a muscle up because you struggled on the transition, all i say is that doing a false grip can make the transition alot easier especially for people who has long limbs cause the Range of motion is much longer than short limbed people. That is where the false grip is at it's Best, BtW, i can also do 10reps of clean Muscle ups and can do at least 3 explosive muscle ups, it helps that i can do 30 consecutive Clean Pull ups and can lift as Heavy as 40kg for 5 reps on my Weighted pull ups.

IT'S WHAT YOU PRACTICE IN PRIVATE THAT YOU WILL BE REWARDED IN PUBLIC 😉👌🏼
Video looks fake but I like 😂
What part are fake for you?
@@andrystrong1 in the beginning that guy looks strong and it looks he can do muscle up because I didn't watch the video till the end. And I write the comment before watching the complete video 😁
@@donaldruzhdija1525 oh now i see, but if you watched full video you can see his struggle. Its almost impossible to acting in that way
It is so discouraging with these videos promising to teach muscle ups in a few hours. This is an advanced callisthenics movement which takes at least a few months of regular training to master, for many people much longer.
Hello. Can you show me moment in the video where I promise to do Muscle Up in 2 hours?
@@andrystrong1 dude, you are very strong guy and a respectable athlete, but the (sub)title of your video reads "I taught a random athlete to master the muscle-up in just 2 hours". So it's right there, mate. The good thing about the video, though, is that we can see that even for a naturally strong man who is already able to do lots of high-quality pull ups, the specific technique and strength required for a muscle up takes time to develop. It is certainly not possible in just one afternoon.
@@classicalgreekintroductory6045 nothing wrong with tile. I taught this quy how to do muscle up with band in 2 hours. In the beginning of video I mention what is requirements.
Where is I lie?
@@andrystrong1 okay, true, he learned the muscle up with 2 bands in 2 hours. That is actually already quite impressive.
@@classicalgreekintroductory6045 Next just keep practice and he will able to do with out band. Thats why for this video i took guy who cant do muscle up and just 15 pull up
I m 98kg i can do 15 pullups but musle up still impossible for me
The number of pull-ups is not so important - that is endurance but it is not endurance what you need for the muscle-up. I am 90kg, and can do only 6 pull-ups but I can do 3 muscle-up in a row. For muscle up you need a critical amount of speed+strength. That is why the technique for bigger people is slightly different. Short men are fast and it is easier for them as they do not need so much strength. For bigger people - more strength (train weighted pull ups) is required and all the speed (train high pull ups) and technique (train with bands) you can get.
I learned the muscle up after years of exercising. After all I did not succeed to improve much my speed and strength but with the help of tick bands and many tries I managed to get the right technique . It is very hard to see the most important part of the technique here (and it is very hard to explain) - it is in the last moment of the pull, short bodywave-like kick (horizontal) which brings you high over the bar. Look around 9:00-9:58 but it is hard to understand what to do, better get a band and start trying.
this guy cannot do 15 pullups
Im doing push up over 33, but still cant do muscle up..
Im doing muscle up with help of my chain.
Hey Andry, do a video with Chris Heria and Magnus Midtbo.
Chris Hernia does not Belong to the Table where Andriy, Sondre Berg, Daniel Vadnal, Cali Moves, Gymnastics Method, Ian BarsEagle and even Gabo Saturno's Dining Table.
What do you mean?
