16:10 - You can see BJS cheek bone and eye socket break and go purple instantly, his face was caved in. The pain must have been ridiculous. Canelo knew he'd broke it and even he didn't expect BJS to come out for round 9 which says it all.
Most times you don’t feel the pain immediately because the body releases huge amounts of adrenaline with a wound like that. It probably hit him more when he sat and relax and later that night must have been horrible pain

I think it all stems from a rivalry (that only existed in some fans heads) with Chavez Jr. Everybody had big hopes on Jr. to embody his dad. Those are big shoes to fill. On the other hand Canelo only had his own story to write. People will come around, and he will be reckoned as one of the great, if not the greatest, Mexican fighters of all time.

Canelo has always had a bad habit of landing a solid shot or two, then standing off and admiring his own work and trying to figure out how badly hurt the other guy is. I think he was surprised that Saunders didn't go down in this case.
if you watch the whole sequence in real time, Canelo goes straight on the offence, and he's still throwing with mean intentions. What you could take as 'mercy' is that he only throws soft jabs to the damaged eye, while he wails away on the body and the other side of Saunders' face.
This production is different to the usual behind the scenes Matchroom have done. Is this what they were talking about, controlling the production? It's done extremely well

I've been a fan since he fought Matthew Hatton years ago. I speak a bit of Spanish so I've understood a bit of what he's said over the years, but he's like a completely different, and far more likeable guy, now that he speaks English so often.
